That's freaken Horrible
With my luck, I'd get stuck with Tater Tot. Fuker would show up singing Frank Zappa tunes and surfing Nancy Grace porn on his phone all night.
Sure, Nancy Grace isn’t ideal. But you have to balance that cost with the benefit of having someone capable of lifting 150 lbs with their teeth in such close proximity to you. Is it worth it? I’m not sure, but depending on what specific situations may arise, it might just be.

You can be anti vaccine without being anti all vaccines. The Covid vaccine is literally a vaccine. If you are anti Covid vaccine, you are — say it with me — literally anti vaccine. Anything else you want to get cute with?
Here, maybe this will help. Literally.
“Vaccine hesitancy, also known as anti-vaccination or anti-vax, is a reluctance or refusal to be vaccinated or to have one's children vaccinated against contagious diseases. People who conform to this view are commonly known as "anti-vaxxers". The term encompasses outright refusal to vaccinate, delaying vaccines, accepting vaccines but remaining uncertain about their use, or using certain vaccines but not others.”
Why? That’s silly. e]
Basically there’s so much of it.
There are so many shows on YouTube and every tune is never played the same twice.
Last night while going to sleep I started Billy the Mountain which I’m not too familiar with, found the world premiere and it’s like 35 minutes. Billy’s wife is a tree on his shoulder named Ethel. I only got halfway through it, need to check out other half maybe tonight.

From my understanding, the only reason we were able to create the first mRNA vaccines is because China isolated and fully sequenced the virus, and shared that data.
Any sources for this information? First time I've read it. I did find this though;
https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/how-did-we-develop-a-covid-19-vaccine-so-quickly#Worldwide-collaboration
Dr. Yager said that thanks to advances in genomic sequencing, researchers successfully uncovered the viral sequence of SARS-CoV-2 in January 2020 — roughly 10 days after the first reported pneumonia cases in Wuhan, China. The ability to fast-track research and clinical trials was a direct result of this worldwide cooperation.
Are the researchers mentioned here from China? I had just assumed it wasn't anything particularly groundbreaking (sequencing a virus like this) to do this but wasn't sure who to credit.

Anecdotal is strong. I haven’t gotten the cold either..& I never wear a mask or social distance
Social distancing has shown no impact with Covid whatsoever. I’m in San Diego, as far as lockdowns, & social distancing here in San Diego, positivity rate has gone up as mobility has gone down. We had a better health outcome when things were more open.
Want some more examples?

Never used hand sanitizer in my life but do wash my hands like a normal human. No large groups and I don't go out in public because I don't want to wear a mask. I walk at night without a mask and If someone is coming up with mask I do cross the street to keep distance. If covid makes them nervous and they choose to take precautions, I respect it.

Kim you're way too nice for crossing the street just cos someone is wearing a mask. Are you going to the gym?
Before covid I had different jobs with offices full of people, going to crowded gym, crowded public transportation etc. L.A is just so crowded that you can't escape people. I always got sick. I have started going to the stores, taking the bus, and gym etc. but so far so good.
Dude I haven't even gotten the regular common colds I typically always get since we've been socially distancing.
Zero colds in my house since we had covid in January of 2020. My kids are in 2nd and 3rd grade, have been in school all day everyday this year. Typically from about November to February someone has a cold, seemingly monthly. My son had one ear infection (bacterial) and that’s been it. Either the mitigation methods work at least to some extent or covid killed the common cold and flu. I think that people actually staying home when sick has had a big effect.
About a week ago cdc said they were just joking about cleaning surfaces. Somehow they’ve now determined that fomites are responsible for less than 1 in 10,000 cases. Not real sure how they calculated that...of course they also determined that 6’ distancing is necessary distancing. Except for schools, in schools COVIDs can only go 3’ because science.

I fear you are saying these crazy things because you have somehow never tasted a Krispy Kreme donut. If that is the case, then I strongly suggest that you go ahead and drive on out there. Make sure you get a hot one, one from the fridge, and one with chocolate frosting. Also get coffee.
Edit - Get two with chocolate frosting, for sure.
-
So, people who do not take the flu vaccine are "anti-vaxxers" since they refuse to take the flu vaccine.
(Also interesting that the term "Refuse to take the covid vaccine" - which makes you more likely to get a variant of the virus, btw - is often used, since it is more accusatory.)

No I respect people and their concern about the virus so that's why I do it. My gym requires a mask so I don't go and train at home. My barber also requires a mask so I don't go...my husband is my new barber. :)

Jeez that sucks. I wear masks where required. Not a fan of them in the gym, that should be a “safe zone” for maskless. They aren’t stopping much from forceful exhalations when a mask is so saturated with slobber and sweat it’s practically dripping. I don’t think they are proving to be of much value in in real world cases (comparing states with or without data). Hopefully by June or July cases will be low enough the mitigation stuff will just go away/won’t be justified or tolerated.

Mask in the gym has been a royal PITA for me. Like you said it gets soaked in sweat and wearing a gaiter has only been slightly better.
There's only one attendant that is a mask Nazi, when she's not working there's a Bro code that half masking or pulled down masking is OK.
