Lots of healthy stud athletes are keeling over and dying 'unexpectedly' lately. On the basketball court; on the volleyball court; and the latest was a 19 year old lacrosse stud in Massachusetts. My guess? More of this goes on unreported nationally.

Anyone catch Lord Fauci and his remarks about masking and he admitted it's more about power & control than anything else.

I caught the Covid when it first came out a couple of years ago. Several people at work got it, we all recovered.
Flash forward: Just finished up with the Omicron last week. One person at work died from it, everybody else recovered. What I find interesting is that some of the people who were sick were fully vaccinated and boosted. And they didn't seem to have less severe symptoms. However, many of them got sick when they were injected, and sick again when they were boosted. So essentially, those of us who are non-vaccinated got sick twice, while many of the vaxxed were sick FOUR or FIVE times. And the person who died was fully vaccinated.... but survived the first round just fine before the vaccines were invented.

I can't figure this tool out. He doesn't want masks, then he does, then he doesn't. Dementia is setting in, maybe.

They can't do it with this one. They'll have better luck trying it with another covid "variant". But I don't think the people are having it.

Shutdown during Pride Month? That's not on the agenda.
No, you won't have to get jabbed to go to Germany, or take a test. To re enter the US you need to get a test within 24 hours of flight but that may change June 15 - we have to wait and see.
Germany to Loosen COVID-19 Entry Rules Over the Summer
Germany’s health minister says the government plans to suspend a pandemic rule requiring people to show proof of vaccination, a negative test result or recent recovery from COVID-19 to enter the country over the summer.

Yes I'm tracking that and I hope that it stays that way.... just prepared to do what is needed if I wanna go there.
There is also a chance I get put on orders to Germany for a year so Imma get the jab if I need to; if not I'm good for now.
I wouldn't have been able to have traveled to Europe without being vaccinated. I just returned and it was amazing as that was my first time there.
That being said, the vaccinations have made me so ill that I don't want to get any more of them. The booster had me in bed for 4 days with a high fever and chills. That's worse than Covid itself!

Vaccines are not required to travel to Europe now. You can't go on a cruise without the vax but that's about it.

At a time when “the science” fauci has covid. Lol keep the scam alive shill.
Da Fauch has the Wuhan, after being QUADRUPLE vaccinated, but would like to thank Pfizer because without them he’d be much worse off ! Believe in the science, like what is a woman or vaccine how bout borders. This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated, how many people have died from the vaccine, there’s not enough studies , just get the jab you serf, etc etc, Meh, just do what we say
Personally I detest, loathe this megalomaniac and I’m certain he’s not getting monoclonal anti bodies or remdasivr, not being able to see your dying loved ones unless of course it’s through a glass or zoom etc etc ! Reprobate scumbag and the hordes of his minions
I don’t believe in karma but

Not sure what you're drinking but pass that bottle around.
As a recap I'm triple vaxed, shot 2 and 3 about killed me.
Worked closely with a person with Covid 3 weeks ago for 1/2 day, like real close, did not get it. Worked a few hours with another person last week that was positive, did not get it.
I have no opinion TBH, maybe the vax helped, maybe I'm immune, hell maybe I got it and didn't know.

This is the important bit I saw "Although the new research shows that immunity against the dominant Omicron subvariants appears to be waning, it’s important to note that mRNA vaccines continue to provide very durable B and T cell-based protection against severe outcomes from COVID-19, including hospitalization and death."
Basically you're more likely to get sick than before but being vaccinated still gives you better odds at avoiding serious outcomes. Risk/Reward tradeoff is still quite good for anyone who doesn't have certain forms of heart issues where the slight Myocardia risk is exaggerated. Eventually they're going to have to re-formulate the vaccine against a newer strain or more likely provide a multi-strain version. I expect this to be very similar to how things have gone with Influenza. Make your choices, take your chances, just like the rest of life.

Or maybe let vaccine and infection induced immunity handle it. Wild concept.

Not trying to be a dik, but let's break down what you said into bite size pieces.
If ba4/5 are new then how can a "natural immunity" fight against a "new" thing?
So by definition, it is new and your body has never been exposed to, or had to fight off this "new" thing before.
That would leave you vulnerable wouldn't it?
Just trying to be logical here.

Probably the same way my natural immunity never allowed me to be infected with COVID in the first place.
Or it was simply so mild due to natural immunity that I didn't even know I had it. I recall having a slight headache for a couple days, which is rare for me to have.
Long time since I've seen this thread. Got my first Covid, so that's cool.

Just got Covid for the first time and I am on day 4 with it finally letting up (I hope). Never had any issues with breathing or anything that would make it life threatening. Worst was my fever spiking above 103 but a dose of Tylenol resolved that.

The only way to know for sure would be an antibody test, or you like me, got lucky and have not been exposed so far.
We will have time to test ourselves soon.

I'm triple vaxxed and got covid about a month ago. It took massive exposure for me to get it though (sleeping next to my covid-positive wife all night). The third shot was actually worse than actual covid TBH, but maybe that was the vaccine doing its thing. My brother (unvaxxed) got it and was sick for a solid two weeks. I only had two bad days, then pretty mild thereafter.
Day 5 of Covid, fever resolved yesterday, and now I am left with some very minor cold/flu symptoms. Felt good enough to go out today and mow the lawn, trim hedges, and cut down some trees, although now I am pretty tired, might need a nap, ha. Besides the fever that is the biggest impact of Covid for me, the fatigue.
I am still testing positive, going to give me an excuse to take some more time off work next week, which is nice I guess.

The fatigue I had was legit next-level. Never experienced anything like it. It was almost a good feeling towards the end, when I would take a nap and wake up.
Keep us posted, i like to hear how the fit and healthy respond to this compared to the stereotypical American that we see in pics.

Have had the two-dose Pfizer vaccine, and one booster vaccine since (maybe six months ago). Probably due another booster by now.

Well, extending your extreme logic, I've had 3 jabs and I've never (AFAIK) had covid. So the jabs worked.
I have 3 family members in the medical field. They claim that 90% of the people currently hospitalized for covid are non vaccinated. So it seems the vax is doing something even though it's not preventing people from getting covid.

Was he young and healthy before getting Covid, or did the shot lessen the severity of his symptoms?
Or was it both?
:)
yeah it’s been working so well. Might as well just keep pumping sh*t into your body every time there’s a new variant.
Funny post on a bodybuilding forum, but I'd recommend avoiding injecting "sh*t" into your body. I have seen patients who have actually done that, and it never turned out to be a good idea.
Vaccines on the other hand, they almost always turn out to be a good idea. You can make a little of a specific protein after getting one of the mRNA vaccines, or you can grow a bunch of different proteins in greater quantity after you get exposed to the actual virus. Sort of like you can eat a steak, or you can eat a cow. Do you really want the bones, brains, intestines and cow sh*t? Because you sound like you want high exposure to all the viral proteins, not just the one the vaccines code for. Either way, the immunity is natural since you make the antibodies in both scenarios.
Even funnier than the injecting sh*t comment is that you only get something remotely resembling "un-natural" immunity if you get super sick and we have to give you monoclonal antibodies like casirivimab and imdevimab to save your life. Since that's much more likely to happen if you aren't vaccinated... .
mgftp,
I haven't signed in for a while, but I'm glad to hear you're feeling better.
