They do have impressive profiles on their supplements and this new version of HyperMax Extreme looks
LEGIT but I just didn't get much from my past use of a few of their products but like I said they get
good feedback.

Based on tests posted on AM, I've seen more than one of their product not contain an ingredient as claimed on the label. Hard to support that

Maybe that's why I never really saw much from the products that I tried but their new reformulated PW
that sloop mentioned he tried has gotten good feedback so maybe they go it right this time.

As a sort of post trick r' treating timing, my Blackstone Labs Spooky Candy Isolate arrived today. I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I took a lick of the seal and a good whiff...

...Yeah, it really captures "Halloween Candy" in a protein powder, specifically light notes of candy corn. It's not overpowering in smell or cloyingly sweet like candy corn, though, while still having a distinct enough flavor profile to separate it from being merely another take on vanilla.

As someone who always liked the [i]idea[/i] of candy corn, but could never stomach the pure sweetness (even as a child), this protein has me really excited for what it offers.


I should also be getting the Black Magic Supply Limited Edition Devil's Cake, which Stack3d says is supposed to be [url=https://www.stack3d.com/2020/10/black-magic-devils-cake-protein.html]red velvet[/url], although I would not be disappointed in a regular Devil's food cake flavor, either.

Well, gyms here in mainland Europe have closed down again until mid-December. I consider myself fortunate that I have amassed a pretty solid set up at the house where I can get a really effective session for all bodyparts at the house, but it still kind of sucks to not be able to train in the gym environment.

What have you guys been using for pres lately? I haven’t used any for a couple years another than a caffeine tablet or an occasional bang or monster.

Anything exotic still available or has that all been shutdown. A couple years back I was able to find some old God of War with AMP-Cit and that rocked me

I'm seeking advice from the Legends of Preworkouts. I've been using C4 ultimate for months now and love it, but I'm probably getting too used to the formula so I'm looking to change it up. I bought Al****en from Morphogen Nutrition, but that stuff literally puts me to sleep, pretty terrible so I gave the extra bottles to gym buddies. They hated it too, ended up just throwing it out.

My local supplement shop was promoting these two pre-workouts, but I wanted input from the forum on whether or not they're legit before buying. I took some photos of the labels:

Both pres look hella shady ^^^ Who knows what you'll be ingesting and even if it meets label claims for the semi decent ingredients.

^This one tastes absolutely awful, though, so be warned. It's just very, very bitter, and I honestly mix it with the Immortal X because I've literally had the bitterness stay with me during an entire workout before.

Probably the most "sketchy" pre I take is "Crack" by Dark Labs

[i]Supposedly[/i] 120mg of DMAA, who knows, but overall I enjoy it and it gets me through an extensive full body lift day with zero complaints.


Even if those two pre workouts don't have DMAA, they're still probably better than C4.

Black Magic Supps Devil Cake arrived and it is bloody phenomenal! I have never been able to understand the Red Velvet hype until this protein because it's magical. The combination of protein sources gives it a very good texture, just like the chocolate peanut butter puff flavor. Here, the chocolate stands out with this insane blend of a creaminess that transcends all of the "vanilla" pseudo-frostings you might have had before, tasting almost like a layer of cheesecake in frosting form alongside the cake.

I decided I’m just gonna start making my own pre’s. Caffeine pills with bulk beta alanine, cit-malate, and betaine.

I'll be looking for bro's to try Better Best BCAA

Thanks again for the advice! They gave me some free samples of both to play around with and you're right.

They both provide laser focus and good energy. First one has high level energy for about 4 hours, focus effects for about 7/8 hours total, followed by a soft crash. The second one has high level energy for about 2.5/3 hours, focus effects for about 6/7 hours total, followed by a soft crash. I think the main differences that I can feel are that the first once feels like a good mood enhancer (if that's even a thing), and the second one amplifies tingles to the max but it's also easier to get into rage mode and attack each set with more intensity.

I don't really have a preference so far, but if I were to be working out with a buddy I wouldn't take the second one; tunnel vision probably too intense with that one to be social. If I had a long session (3+ hours) I'd go for the first one. If I had a short session (1-2 hours), I'd go for the second one. If I needed maximum effort in a short time window, definitely the second one. Most of my workouts are 3-4 hours long so I don't see myself using the second one very much.

I don't know enough about pre workouts to know what is legit and what's not so I appreciate the heads up! I asked the guys at my local supplement shop about the ingredients and they said I would be WADA compliant as long as I didn't take them while in competition, so yeah, I think that's at least some level of acknowledgment of shadiness.

Yeah, the first one is Dark Energy, the second one is Volt. After sampling those two I realize these aren't pre-workouts I would use for most sessions (1-2x a week at most) and I still really like C4 Ultimate! I'm looking into some of the pre-workouts you suggested that would work more as C4 Ultimate substitutes.

There's nothing wrong with Hi-Tech which is the co. that put's out APS Mesomorph to wanna reformulate
Mesomorph but why not be a little more innovative with the stimulants. That stimulant blend is already in
their USP Labs Jacked :rolleyes: so why not leave out the DMAA and keep the Senegalia Extract,add Kingelia
Africana, instead of regular DMHA, and add EnXtra.:D

I haven't tried anything with EnXtra YET but from the feedback that I've seen from DVST8 Union, that seems
like the ingredient you wanna have in your PW formulations cause it looks like 300mg is amplifying the effects
of the other stimulants that are added in a positive way. So now Hi-Tech is gonna have 2 pre's with pretty much
the same stimulant blends so if your a PW user it really doesn't make sense to have both of their pre's cause you
can only use DMAA very sparingly cause it will fry your adrenal glands quick if overused and none of your other
pre's are gonna feel effective. I wouldn't be surprised if they reformulate Wicked which is also made by them and
put DMAA in that one too.

I remember using Meso, Jack3d back in the day and then buying a reformulated tub and being disappointed. Then I tried kraken with DMHA which was good, not as much energy but less crash.

AMP Citrate pre's are tough to find but DMAA and DMHA pre's are ALL over the place so you won't
have a hard time finding them just don't over pay cause some are way too pricey but if you look
around you might find some deals especially for the holidays.
