LOL a good time, that's what you got yourself into.
I've heard people taking different dosing w Excelsior. For me, 2 scoops is A LOT. 1 scoop is noticeable but not over the top. 1.25-1.5 scoops was the sweet spot for me.

The new formula of APS Mesomorph arrived, so of course I had to try it out for my chest workout the other day.

In the name of science, today I whipped out my OG Mesomorph (that one) to compare.

This time was my full body routine, which in all fairness is what I find to be much easier than my chest/back/leg dedicated days because of how the core muscle groups are spread out versus a concerted effort beating one group to death.
I'm also somewhat stim resistant, never been "blown away" by DMAA (but still love it), and had a bit of pissed off energy for today's lift. That said, to me they felt similar in terms of experience.
Great focus, a nice, steady sense of energy throughout the workout, and with zero crash. Recovery between sets felt good and mood was also good.
I would best describe it as a productive workout with the new formula, providing sustained energy and focus that left me sore as hell at the end of the day. The original gets the edge on longevity, but considering we went from pure DMAA to DMHA + Geranium, I still found it impressive.
I lift completely fasted, sometimes nearing 20+ hours, and in spite of that my workouts can go on a bit, so for my needs I found the new Mesomorph to be a great pre-workout. It's similar to the new Jack3d, but I found the Mesomorph to be a much calmer experience with no jittery feeling. And despite only clocking in at 300mg of caffeine, the new Mesomorph provided a smooth level of energy. My go-to pre for chest day has been Defiant Unleashed Holiday edition, which has a few extra goodies like noopept, alongside a whopping 450mg of caffeine. Mesomorph kept up nicely to what I've been used to, and I wouldn't hesitate to take it over the usual.
Does the new formula overtake the original? Probably not for most people, but it is certainly a worthy pre-workout all on its own that I was very satisfied with, and look forward to taking again to continue comparing mental notes.
Flavor-wise, I went with the Carnival Cotton Candy because I loved the original, and it's still wonderful, tasting like what would happen if you gave a raccoon a clump of fresh cotton candy:
Just like cotton candy and without the disappointment!
I have to give bonus points to APS/Hi-Tech for this iteration, however, as they have returned to the original's exact formulation that does not contain maltodextrin. Like I said, I lift fasted and maltodextrin is not only a fasting issue, but personally it makes me feel sick like no other getting that injection on an empty stomach.
I would still say if you're looking for a solid "wake-the-f*ck-up" pre-workout to instead look at something like Assassin or Immortal X by Rage Nutrition. After any lift I take a spritz of those two because I'll box 20 minutes after to shake off the extra rage.
My only recommendation would be to stay the hell away from the firecracker ("rocket pop") flavor of Assassin and go for the Mango Pineapple (there is also a limited edition Jaffa partnered with Fitness Deal News). Firecracker tastes like someone dropped a rocket popsicle in dirt at a picnic, then scooped up the dirt where it fell and mixed it up. Waaaaay to bitter for me because it has the tendency to linger well beyond when I first drank it, but the Mango Pineapple is perfectly fine to take as a shot.

Nice feedback and I like the comparison of the two versions of Mesomorph and I had a feeling the new
Meso was going to feel a bit like the last Jacked3d since it's the almost the same stimulant blend put
out by Hi-Tech the co that makes both of the products but I've heard the same as you mentioned it's
a better feel than the Jacked3d and I've had the cotton candy flavor and it's uniquely good. I personally
liked the previous version of Meso with the Sengillia extract thought it had a different feel than some of
the other pre's out so I figured when this new Meso with geranium was released sites would be unloading
the Sengillia one Lol that's not happening:( I've seen better deals on the new version than the Sengillia
version and the cheapest I've seen it for is like $25 and for me that's NOT a real deal.

Directions say 1-2 scoops I think? Either way, yes, people are taking two scoops.
I cant stand noopept.
Brain fog out the ass on it
Looked up Excelsior.
They aren't even hiding the Octopamine.
I remember when that stuff was "hidden" in formulas
Druggies gonna do their thing

That Kigelia Africana extract is no joke and hit's with some crazy focus. I went through an old PW from
Giant Sports called Giant RUSH and it was only 3 ingredients caffeine, white tea, and Kigelia Africana
and had I known how good that would have been I would have grabbed more than one tub when I
scored it for only $10 on Groupon. I haven't tried Excelsior but I'm sure that's one of the ingredients
that's delivering the crazy  focus that everyone talks about and I'm sure there's something else
in there that's NOT on the label.;) The one I'd rather try with Kigelia is Alpha Neon Darkside but it's
not sold here in the states just in the U.K. They ship to the states but the shipping cost almost as
much as a tub of the pre :( but at least that one has 50 servings and it's a very small scoop so it's
definitely a ultraconcentrated PW that KICKS! from the feedback I've seen.
I bought some bulk cit mal, betaine, and DMHA. Gonna mix it with my BA and creatine and some caffeine pills, see how that treats me for a PWO

The DMHA that you got is it JRegia ? and when you mix that concoction hopefully your gonna mix it
with something to flavor it like flavored bcaa's or a flavored drink mix powder.

Yup it is!
Yeah I’ve got some water flavoring drops...or else I think I’d vomit. I still have a half tub of SuperHuman, a 3/4 tub of OG MesoMorph, and a full tub of HyperMax Extreme to finish before I start making my own though
I searched for a review of Anabolic Warefare Maniac but could not find one so I'll give my quick opinion. I've only been working out again about 2.5 months and started out with C4 sport. I have a lot of experience from 9-11yrs. ago when all the crazy ones were out there (original Jack3d and other's after that were even stronger).
So first off they need to change the name. Something like "smooth criminal" would fit much better as I was calm, focused and stealing reps.
I thought the big jump in beta alanine would be an itch fest but it wasn't at all. In fact instead of that initial crazy tingle it was more subtle and lasted over an hour. Had plenty of energy and in a good mood. Popping my pecs to the bass and enjoying the pump.
The first time I took it I felt a little puky stomach and heart rate elevated but nothing like that after the 1st time so not sure what was up with that.
Edit- forgot to mention the heat. Felt like literally heating up from the inside out. Not like crazy and uncomfortable but noticeable for sure. I usually drink a 24oz bottle of water during the workout but now refilling it halfway through. I should post the ingredients, willing to bet there is some form of fatburner in there.
So basically not as the name would suggest, very much the opposite of the stimmy go balls to the wall preworkout. Good pump, great focus and mood. Totally in the groove all workout long and feel relaxed even hours later so no crashy feeling.
Any thoughts on the new Kaged muscle Outlive 100?

I still have some of the V3 (I think) with the Sengillia, so I'll have to try that one day to compare as well.
Looking over that label, it was definitely a bit more packed with some additional PEAs and Isopropylnorsynephrine HCl.
The new Mesomorph throws in some yohimbe under quebracho-blanco extract, as well as the more prominent DMHA.
Both share Theobromine and Naringin, but interestingly it's the exact same 1,860mg total amount in the stimulant blend. I will say that it makes for a less "intimidating" label from a strictly marketing perspective, but either way, it gets the job done well. Now I'm just curious to see how the last formula fares in terms of overall experience.

Ok... so after 8 years I'm going to make the decision to start lifting again. 8 years ago I was 25 and in damn good shape. 6ft 187lbs, hovered around 10% body fat. Between high frequency training (3 workouts every day, 1 day off a week. Wake up do something like chest and triceps, come home do a 1-1.5hr session, then before bed target 2 different groups. Every day was a little different) I also had a physical job. Working in the freezer of hannaford warehouse. I was constantly gaining weight and strength.
Then I got hurt at work, 4 herniated discs and a 6inch tear in my spine. Went from 187lbs down to 131lbs in 3 months. Working out quite literally all day... to not being able to tie my shoes.
I have a insanely fast metabolism. That mixed with a steady amount of ******** and what ever steroid they had me on, everything I worked for since I was 22 melted off me in 3 months.
I've had a lot of issues with my back since then. But over the last year I have faith in it again and I really want to get back some of my size!
The biggest problem I'm having is I don't know any of the products anymore. (Or new terms, slang) Last pre pump l used was Nano vapor, I loved it. Took a long time to find one that didn't make me crash 2 hrs later.
I also had a great post that I stacked with it but for the life of me can't remember the name.
Sorry for the life story, but I do know different products will perform different for each body type.
Looking for a pump, a post, bone and joint "multivitamin" and thinking about a test boost. Along with any other advice you might have.

Welcome back!
1. Don’t overtrain. More lifting does not equal more results. No reason not to do more than an hour a day unless you’re going to compete.
2. Eat food in a moderate caloric surplus.
3. Sleep.
4. Don’t waste your money on a test booster.
5. Food >>>> supplements.

Finally cracked open one of my 2 tubs of QUAKE which I had in my stash a few weeks ago and my man blokpost was
100% accurate when he said I would like QUAKE better at 1 scoop:) I tried it at 2 scoops and pump, performance were
good but that 200mg of L-Theanine really kept me fro feeling much energy.:( I've been using it at 1 scoop and combining
it with a few different combos and this was one that I've used 2x already and really enjoy the combo of ingredients.
1 scoop of QUAKE
1 scoop of B-Nox
500mg of DMAE
1500mg of Acetyl L-Carnitine
The energy, focus, pumps, and performance were ALL on point and I'm NO Guerilla Chemist :D but I know a little
about mixing my stimulants ;) and this one was just right. I remember when I bought the QUAKE I got it for $10 a
tub and B-Nox also for the same price so it ALWAYS pays to grab pre's on crazy clearance prices and just tinker
with them and make them work the way you want them to. I have many other combos I will be doing with QUAKE
at 1 scoop!

I'm definitely going to start much easier than I left off.
I realized I was going to hard too often and something had to give.
Been thinking about this for a while and with encouragement from my GF (her seeing pictures of what I use to look like) and now the down time to get back in to it, its time to comment.
There's just so much... garbage out there. Misinformation and scams.
I guess I'll just go with what I know. I see that muscletech still has a Nano preworkout.
I'll ditch the test boost and put the money into a better multivitamin.
So far that's been the hardest thing to find.
Thanks for the advice!
I figured with the two Mesomorphs still in my mind that I would compare them with Dark Labs' Crack, which claims to have a massive 120mg of DMAA per two scoop serving. Although I've had this pre-workout before, I have never approached it more from a reviewing standpoint, taking mental notes not only on its effects, but how it compares more directly with what is assuredly the real deal.

A single scoop serving would put it on the same level as the original Mesomorph in terms of DMAA, but with only 200mg of caffeine.
I was actually a bit groggy before lifting, so the two scoops were helpful in getting me started. But when I did start, I didn't have to stop. Similar to both of the APS pre-workouts, this provided a very clear headed, productive sensation that kept me coming back for more. This was another full body workout, which made for an especially apt comparison to the OG Mesomorph I ran during the last one.
A few differences really stood out to me, though:
Blood flow seemed a bit better, particularly early on in the workout. Pumps are never something that I'm overly aware of; I've had a lot of damage done to the veins in my arms first from chemo when I was younger, but more recently (~within the past 5 years or so) from aggressive blood work testing after being hospitalized after a coma.
Subsequently, I'm not going to have throbbing pipes no matter what I hit myself with, but Crack really did fill up my muscles. I felt much less tingling than the Mesomorph, but muscle fullness was more pronounced even early on.
The other difference that also makes me consider the looming question of the authenticity of the label's claims to pack real DMAA is the longevity of endurance and focus. Neither pre-workout left me with any sense of crash, but Crack held up beyond the lifting.
If every muscle and joint wasn't aching after either the Mesomorph or Crack lifts, I could have probably thrown another lift extra on top, but the Crack definitely left me feeling more up to such a task if need be, both mentally and in terms of endurance. No situational, pissed off motivation today, but that did not put a damper on the sustained energy or motivation, which carried on not only through my later 20 minute boxing, but beyond that.
Finally, I felt very calm and collected, similar to both Mesomorphs, despite the higher caffeine dosage. This then brings to mind the difference to the new Jack3d, which is also 400mg at a full serving of three scoops, which still gives me some initial jitters at only two (which then taper off). I would attribute this to the sceletium tortuosum, or Kanna, which really did leave me feeling quite happy.
This is the only pre-workout I have that contains Kanna, and despite my skepticism of the ingredient, I have to say I'm impressed with just how effective its calming mood elevation was/is, as it's still lingering a I type this out.
Reiterating what I said earlier, DMAA has never rocked me to my core between either the original Mesomorph or Irate formulas, but I do appreciate its effects over outright omitting them (or at least some other attempt to substitute them).
I'm also not entirely sure if the aforementioned health history/damage or coma could have impacted my individual tolerances or absorption, but from the recent testing, I'm far more confident in the label if only due to how close the feelings between the 100% real thing and the "who knows?" formulations line up for me.
The actual experience belies the name, as I never felt "cracked out" or in any way off balance, nor did I get any dirty rush that left me to hand out and dry shortly after taking it. While feeling stronger and longer lasting than either Mesomorph, it doesn't feel too strong, with the effects blending together in such a way that I honestly enjoyed the overall experience a bit more because in addition to the productivity, it has a sort of bonus "after effect" through its mood elevation.
That protein any good? Anyone try it?
I plan on giving it a go when I find a deal, so I'll be sure to let you know.

Pump HD and High Volume, are both stim free and deliver great pumps. As for a post, you can't go wrong with a protein powder, BB.com has a solid lineup of flavors. And last but not least, look into Orange Triad, it's a multi with joint support
Hope this helps and good luck with your goals

The actual experience belies the name, as I never felt "cracked out" or in any way off balance, nor did I get any dirty rush that left me to hand out and dry shortly after taking it. While feeling stronger and longer lasting than either Mesomorph, it doesn't feel too strong, with the effects blending together in such a way that I honestly enjoyed the overall experience a bit more because in addition to the productivity, it has a sort of bonus "after effect" through its mood elevation.
I plan on giving it a go when I find a deal, so I'll be sure to let you know.
I've started to see Kana in more pre's lately but the first brand that I remember seeing it in
was Olympus Labs RE1GN and when you dosed the 2 scoop serving it delivered 25mg.
Chemix when they first released their pre it was a 1 scoop 20 serving tub and it had 1000mg
of Kana  and there were a lot of mixed feedback on that pre where some liked but many
HATED it so that big dosage might have been one of the reasons for the mixed feedback.
Chemix rereleased that pre and this time it says 40 servings so your getting 500mg of Kana
which is still a lot.
That protein any good? Anyone try it?
Hopefully it's nothing like ON's glazed donut, that was traumatizing

I still have 3/4 of a tub RE1GN Area51 in my fridge and for me flavor is decent and energy, focus, pumps
are very good but I didn't get the racing heart or sweat's from it that some have mentioned they got
from it. I still have OL Conquer Unleashed which I plain on using tomorrow for a back/trap workout and
that delivers crazy pumps, power, and performance but energy is a bit reserved so I add a bit of another
pre to give it that kick start it needs.:D
So I had reviews written up on DVST8 and BZRK.... hit post... denied error and lost it all... simple run down as I’m not going through it again...
DVST8- takes a lot to mix it, if not done well looks like someone hocked a lugi in there and same consistency if you accidentally drink it. Flavor is meh but not putrid, Energy is nice but not balls to the walls like some YouTube reviews have stated.... pumps are really good too (I changed my routine to higher sets/reps so that might be a part of it) but I’d say it is a littler better than my #1 C4 Ultimate.
BZRK - mixes and tastes great, mire low key energy, due to there being I-Theanine in it (obviously in a low dosage as it didn’t knock me out or make me feel tired) decent pump.... I’d say on par or a little less that C4U.

So for you that DVST8 Union doesn't hit on energy, focus, and long lasting mood elevation at 2 scoops
the way people are describing it  and when it comes to BZRK that is not the same profile that
originally came out which had DMHA so I know it's not gonna be anywhere close to the original especially
with L-Theanine in the formula but I'm surprised about the DVST8 Union

I have many other combos I will be doing with QUAKE
at 1 scoop!
Glad u enjoyed that way too. And that lemon drop tasted really good.

right o, I like it but its not outrageous as people were claiming.......... for me anyways lol. again, DVST8 is good just not BAM like people set it up to be.

Apparently 25mg is the magic number for me, but I can't even imagine what 20x the dose would feel like. It definitely worked at me calm because when I was boxing, my subwoofer's power stopped working in the middle, so I was boxing without any subwoofer bass trying to think of all the possibilities, trying to plan for getting it repaired in the middle of a pandemic, all that.
Turns out the power cable must have gotten loose (I recently rewired the entire setup) and the bass was enough to jiggle it out. Having some Kanna in my system was certainly a blessing beforehand, though.

The only other "donut" flavors I've had were Animals, which kind of came off more like a different take on cake/vanilla, and MAN Sports. Somewhere down the line, MAN's proteins all have this really artificial taste to me despite how good they sound on paper. Their Donut just didn't taste anything like a Donut to me; they could have put "Vanilla But Kinda Different" on the label and it would tasted about as accurate.
I've wanted to try Axe and Sledge's protein, especially since they're one of the few who have an Apple Pie type, but Glazed Donut seems like the safer bet.
Evoking the Krispy Kreme label on their packaging is setting up some mighty high expectations, that's for sure.

If you Go Advanced first, you can at least hit back and your post might still be there, but trying to post will keep giving you the Access Denied error. What I've found is that there could literally be a single sentence that for whatever reason sets off this site - find and delete that line or paragraph, then *boom* post goes through just fine.
That was happening to me on the second to last post I made here. This site is why I keep an extension like Form History Control (firefox) or some other form recovery extension on hand. Sucks. :(

There's a nice cinnamon-sugar taste complementing the banana, which is smoothed out by a notable layer of vanilla ice cream (Nutrex already makes a stellar vanilla ice cream flavor, so they did good again).
A company that used to be around called Gifted Nutrition had an incredible peanut butter banana protein that I've yet to see any other brand try. It was such a simple but perfect blend of peanut flour for the true to form peanut butter taste with an impressively natural tasting banana. Sure, you could mix a peanut butter protein with a banana one, but the proportions were just right and it's a shame that there hasn't been any recent attempt.

So far I have 2 workouts with Dark Energy and 1 workout with Excelsior to compare to.
Dark Energy = a bit smoother, a whole lot more euphoria, total sensory overload, felt very reminiscent of recreational things we did during the late 90's - early 2000's rave days. You could make up a pitcher of this for a party and everyone would have the time of their lives. Leaving the gym I took the long, long way home one day because the bass from my car stereo was just permeating my soul and I didn't want to get out. (I took 1 level scoop for each workout)
Excelsior = Limitless energy. Took longer to kick in on a totally empty stomach first thing in the morning, but when it did, it was a total tsunami of feelings and emotion. By the time I looked at my watch I had been at the gym for 80 minutes and it only felt like 20. The mind/muscle connection was like nothing I have experienced before. No weight felt too heavy. I only left because I had to get home for something, otherwise I would have stayed hours. Mentally I was a total wreck for the whole day afterwards. Not intentionally, but real moody and reserved. I took 1.5 scoops at 11:30am and was still feeling the effects at 10pm that night.
Both of these are wild rides. Wild. Overall I think I like the experience of Dark Energy just a bit more.
My question for you smart dudes - which of the ingredients in Dark Energy is responsible for the major euphoric feelings? Is it the DMHA or the DMAA? Or the combination of both?

I legitimately don't remember the last time I purchased a PWO (much less exotic) but this makes me want to get some Dark Energy.
And if the label is accurate, then yes, definitely the combination of DMHA & DMAA responsible for those effects.

Damn I was hoping 1 of them was the main culprit, was hoping to buy some in bulk (if even possible) :)
I'm only using these heavy hitters once a week, there's no way I would ever take these as a daily driver.

It has been many years... but what I remember from users is that DMHA was a 'feel good' type of stimulant, whereas DMAA was more of the laser-focus stim.

Definitely agree Nutrex's Banana Fosters is very good banana flavored protein and it's a different
twist on banana with a very slight hint of cinnamon sweetness. This flavor worked great for frosted
French toast :p I picked up a couple tubs of that Gifted protein on a CRAZY clearance last year and
that was Phil Heath's brand and I had the vanilla cookie and strawberry and both were uniquely good.
