Alright fellas, I need a pre workout recommendation. I like small scoop size and just need mostly energy, focus and if there is anything that aids in performance or recovery that’s a plus. Caffeine over 200mg and I don’t want bulks like BA, creatine, betaine, l-Citrulline etc. They’re cheap and I can buy and add.
And either limited or no exotics.
Suggestions?
Check out a PW called STIM AGENT by The Muscle House I just reviewed it on IG and I think
when you look at the profile it might be what your looking for and you can purchase samples
on their site for $1.50 and they ship for free so you can try it before committing to a full tub..

So i was using this and it was really hard to get down in the original flavor so i ended up throwing it away.

Cracked into my Farm Fed Pecan Pie tub yesterday and I thought they did good with it. It's a nice and lighter flavor. Nothing over-powering or overly sweet. Depths to the flavor to get some pecan and carmel flavoring from it. I'm currently 7 week out in my prep and good tasting protein powders are like crack right now and rewarding. Mixing with a tbsp of almond butter and putting in the freezer for a little bit is my current go-to to a small meal to hold me over and give a poor mans ice cream type feel.
On that note, I miss sleep. Only able to sleep 1-3 hours a night with where I'm at in prep. Sleep supplements and benedryl hasn't helped at all unfortunately. I lay down at 10pm and have my alarm set for 7:40am. I just end up laying down with my eyes closed and don't end of falling asleep until 3-4am. Stimulants are cut off at 3pm, so I know they aren't the issue. Probably just the lower levels of bodyfat getting to me.

Has anyone ever tried the BB Signature Whey flavor Mint Coco Marshmallow ? and if so any good ?
I do like choc mint protein flavors and it's on sale for $39.99 for 5lbs so thinking of grabbing two.

That contest dieting can really effect pretty much everything such as mood, energy, sleep and much
more so I have much respect for anyone who has to go through it for about 12 weeks.

I seen that flavor and was like, should I pull the trigger. Let me know what you think if your grab one

ON did a great job with the Amino Energy cans. Flavors are super legit, but they only have 100 mg's of caffeine
Grape is highly addictive

That's why I love when companies offer samples of their pre's then I can try them and get an idea on how
they hit so I can give feedback when people are looking for certain effects. This one hits QUICK so be ready
to train within 15min after taking it.

I snagged 2 tubs of the Choc Mint Marshmallow and I found a coupon code which I couldn't believed WORKED!
so I got an extra 25% off so $32 for 5lbs was a decent deal.:)

I looked for both, coupon code which never ever I find and that flavor, and found nothing.
Okay nevermind I found the flavor now for some reason where yesterday I could not.
In other life things. I know I am 43 but I just don't have "it" anymore. Constantly sore even after long breaks. Stiff, sore back and legs/hips. My left knee which is on it's recovery of a third surgery just is trash. Had that last year and it's just a piece of garbage and feel it's just needing a replacement. Between my ulcerative colitis, my age, my knee and everythng else I don't know what to do. I battle between either my back too sore to get good lifts in, my shoulder/rotator acting up, my knee and whatever else but I am getting to the gym only maybe 2 times a week. I still ride bike and try home stuff on off days but truth is sore and stiff all day everyday.
I brought up issues with my doctor at a physical but numbers lok good I was told. Knee the doctors say to younge to think replacement. I know not to be talked about but I want my symptoms treated not just numbers. Suppose better stretching, diet, sleep and such is a place to start. So difficult though being 43 and busy life with a 9 and a 2 year old.

Age and kids certainly won't help those matters but good on you for still getting some gym time in and being active. Literally the smallest thing for being active like a long walk or bike ride can do wonders if you're consistent with it. Based on the symptoms you're feeling, do you not qualify for HRT? I know that's a grey area to talk about on the forums, but I'm talking about treating problems, not performance enhancement aspect of it. If that's not an option, a lot of rest and recovery might be key. The small things like keeping stress low and getting 8+ hours of sleep a night. Not sure your line of work and if that's physical, but I think getting plenty of sleep and keeping stress levels low is very important just for overall well-being. I'm lucky enough that I get to work remote and ever since we went remote, stress and well-being have been so much better.
Hope it gets better for you man!

Thanks for the reply as have always valued your input and posts here for a long time. HRT was what I was referring to with the doctor talk and going by the numbers. Ran a bunch of blood work that was not cheap but I feel it wasn't the total end all best blood work a real HRT doctor woudl run. Like I said I feel symptoms need to be addressed not just oh values look normal. I always say if "notmal" levels are say 400 to 1000 and I test at 401 why would I feel that's a good number to be at? Considering how I feel wouldn't a number in the middle or upper range be better? Of course I suppose doctors can't just easily prescribe something due to medical reasons.
I know with UC, my disease, and how long I have had it the whole body inflmation plus how poorly my body absorbs nutrietns it's not good for helping me no matter what. It's gotten worse over the years. Sure I admit I have gone through many years of over training, under resting/sleeping and supplement use and "abuse". I am an IT SPecialist so sit long periods and I admit with poor posture. Stress is well stress and hard to avoid.

I'm finally started to venture out with other brands now that I ran out of bpi products
Syntha 6 is hands down the best tasting protein made
HCl is the only creatine worth using, and Metabolic Nutrition BCAA's are better than anything else on the market in terms of flavor

Not sure if we can call Syntha 6 a protein shake when it's less than 50% protein in it. I love the taste of Chocolate PB but cannot justify drinking a shake of it.

I've been buying the Amino Energy (Orange) on and off for years, getting the 65 servings off Amazon and it's a phenomenal substitute to periods when I'm taking a break from the high stim pre-workout drinks.

I picked up a tub of the BB.com Mint Cocoa w/marshmallows. I think it's solid. Mint is rather light, it's more of a chocolate milk+sweet marshmallow where the mint hits at the end. If you've tried BB.com signature chocolate then you know what you'll get from the chocolate at least. If you're on the fence and need whey I'd recommend it for the sale going on right now.
Edit: for those who care I made this in a blender w/8oz of 2% Fairlife milk.

big fan of choc mint marshmallow and great deal thanks!
been using few jugs of Pre Jym, recently its pretty good and utilize high stims well
but its rather pricey any other recommendations something similar at better price (preferably blue razz or along those lines) flavor wise
thank you in advance

This place would usually be hopping right about now with the Arnold going on. Nobody is sight. Man how the excitement of the Arnold has crashed and burned over the years. I was close to going this year since my gf is from Cleveland, we would have just stayed there and made day trips to Columbus. But being 5 weeks out, I'm honestly not sure I'd enjoy it. Too busy being zoned out and annoyed.

You're better off not this year.
Dude, crime is wild all over downtown and the short north area near the convention center. Constant shoot outs and armed robberies every other day in that area.
It's only a 25-30 minute drive for me and I wont even go. Just not worth it.
