So far I have 2 workouts with Dark Energy and 1 workout with Excelsior to compare to.
Dark Energy = a bit smoother, a whole lot more euphoria, total sensory overload, felt very reminiscent of recreational things we did during the late 90's - early 2000's rave days. You could make up a pitcher of this for a party and everyone would have the time of their lives. Leaving the gym I took the long, long way home one day because the bass from my car stereo was just permeating my soul and I didn't want to get out. (I took 1 level scoop for each workout)
Excelsior = Limitless energy. Took longer to kick in on a totally empty stomach first thing in the morning, but when it did, it was a total tsunami of feelings and emotion. By the time I looked at my watch I had been at the gym for 80 minutes and it only felt like 20. The mind/muscle connection was like nothing I have experienced before. No weight felt too heavy. I only left because I had to get home for something, otherwise I would have stayed hours. Mentally I was a total wreck for the whole day afterwards. Not intentionally, but real moody and reserved. I took 1.5 scoops at 11:30am and was still feeling the effects at 10pm that night.
Both of these are wild rides. Wild. Overall I think I like the experience of Dark Energy just a bit more.
My question for you smart dudes - which of the ingredients in Dark Energy is responsible for the major euphoric feelings? Is it the DMHA or the DMAA? Or the combination of both?

Hell ya brother, I'm glad you're enjoying them. Excelsior does the same thing to me: Just gets my mind right and eliminates any feeling of being "drained". There was about a month where in between home workouts I was going to a gym one day a week on weekends, and I would slam my entire strength training routine into one session: bench, squat, and deadlift, aiming for 20 working reps above 80% on each movement, 60 total reps between the 3 exercises not including warm ups. So, very intense sessions, and w Excelsior I would just pound through it. At no point did I feel mentally drained from the high intensity.
Awesome stuff.
I’m going to have to properly look at home workouts without equipment. I’m currently isolating because the NHS covid app says I was in close contact with someone who tested positive on my last trip to the gym though I think it was when my phone was in my locker and his was in the adjacent one behind mine.
10 days inside, can’t leave for any reason.
Where are you again?
I'm getting really sick of doing workouts in the park. Especially in the winter. Resistance bands can eat a dick, and so can body weight movements. I just want to lift some ****ing weight.

I'm pretty sure we're about to do the same in Canada. I mean, we're already in a strict lockdown, but it's "not working" so the government solution is to do more of it. So sick of this ****.

Smart move.

Nothing wrong with stocking up ;) before it's gone :( I've seen that Dark Energy slowly creep down in
price from $49.99 to $36 which is strange since the trend on these exotics is to continue going up so
I guess they must of produced a lot of it.
Makes me miss XF 2.0

Vasolate and XF chocolate, damn good. I haven't found anything similar. I still have a couple of tubs of XF chocolate in my stash.
Dave flavored Vasolate. And yeah I miss XF and Dave’s pre and his old intra.

Just ordered me a vertical leg press machine and a couple of kettlebells to add to my home gym. Picked them up at a good price too.
-
Speaking of home gyms, I am starting to look for equipment for mine. Stuff is back to cheap on OfferUp etc here.

Getting some serious PS4 game time in as my wife’s at work (Teacher) and daughter’s in nursery. I think I’ve done 500 steps in the last few days.

So after a month OFF of pre's then you should feel whatever pre's you have better so then retest
DVST8 SOU and give us your feedback cause people keep raving about that one and you mentioned
that it only felt a slight step up fro C4 Ultimate.

Appreciate the gesture :) but no need to do that it's just that I get so many people always asking
me about supplements outside of the forums so I try to steer them in the right direction form the
MANY reviews I read and watch because honestly I'm NOT gonna buy every new supplement that
comes out especially some of these way overpriced pre's  though I did buy a pretty basic
PW yesterday because I'm curious about one of the ingredients Longan Extract and I got it for $10 :)

I was looking at older threads on this site,(10-15 years ago) and i saw that people were taking a lot of supplements back then. Since this forum isn’t what it once was, my question is, are people still taking a lot of supplements, and are companies still selling as many?

Hopefully, at least seemingly, there are fewer "supplements" being sold OTC by companies.
We earned more government involvement
