This ****ing retard thinks because he was stupid enough to get his money taken by some site that sold him "advanced statistics" to win internet arguments, that everybody else in the world should also be morons like him.
I have some bad news for you little buddy, an overwhelming number of stupid people (just like you) take losses based solely on thinking they're the smartest person in the room.
BRB yeah dude let me send $1000 wherever you say because I'm stupid enough to be swindled out of my money, just like you were.
You're not smart, your ideas are stupid because you are in fact stupid, time to come to grips with it.

This thread still going?
As the title states, the people have spoken, Kobe > Lebron. It’s over (not that it was ever seriously in question).
If Lebron put as much effort into the Finals as you losers do defending him, he wouldn’t be 3-6.

Do you know how a double team works?
At no point in double teaming a guy should one of the defenders run 10-12' past the guy he's supposed to be helping out on.
It's like your a snowball rolling down a never ending hill of stupidity.

I prefer Kobe to Lebron but I don't see how anyone can pick Kobe over Lebron at this point. It's like Peyton vs Brady. At some point, it becomes pretty clear which side has won.

Because individual accolades and statistical evidence mean nothing to Kobe fans.
All Kobe cared about was winning.
Except for the time he ran the best player on his team out of LA.

Except for quitting in Game 7 against the Suns.

Except when he was trashing teammates on video.

Except when he was sabotaging the Lakers in free agency.

Because individual accolades and statistical evidence mean nothing to Kobe fans.

No, it's because Kobe had plenty of both.
Won rings with AND without Shaq.
On top of all the individual accolades and stats.
Didn't need to have the most stacked team in the weakest division.
You know, things a real competitor would do.
Vs. Lebron giving up the ****ing NBA FINALS after a game 1 loss (in which he was 0-6 in OT).
BRB "Kobe can't win without Shaq" so Kobe goes and wins 2 without Shaq.
BRB "Lebron doesn't wanna compete" so Lebron takes his ball and goes home after a game 1 loss in the NBA Finals.
That's the biggest difference between the two, and in pro sports it's what separates the men from the boys.

The difference there is Kobe has a winning finals record while Lebron has an overwhelmingly losing finals record.
That's why you can't sit there and say "herp derp, they've both won championships" because one guy won 5 out of 7 and the other won almost half as many, and has almost as many finals losses as Kobe has finals appearances.
Unless you wanna take the comical stance that losing in the finals is some sort of accomplishment (not when we're trying to talk GOAT's).
And even if that argument wasn't a joke (which it most definitely is), it's still cheapened by Lebron having a team head and shoulders above the rest of his weak conference.
In other words, the general consensus is that in 9 finals appearances Kobe would have won more than 3 rings, he'd have more than the 5 he already has TBH.

Some good points dummy.
Imagine what LeBron's Finals record would look like if his team was the favourite in most of his Finals match-ups, like Kobe's was.
Imagine how many rings LeBron would have if he got to play several years with a player better than him, like Kobe did.
Kobe won ZERO Playoff series' in his CAREER without a HOF big man.
Now answer my question, which player has the better individual stats and accolades, or don't quote me again.

Well if Lebron wasn’t so trash in the Finals, he might’ve been favourite more often.
After his effort in his first 2 appearances, people had no faith in him & rightfully so.
Imagine playing your entire prime on handpicked super teams with multiple franchise players, all stars, top 5 picks & the highest payroll in history & you’re still not the favourite because you’re a world class fuk up. Ouch.

Yawn, it's all cope there soyboy.
This last series Lebron and the Cavs were historical underdogs yet they lost two games by 10 or less, with Lebron giving up on the series during the first game.
Historical underdogs, yet also had a chance? I believe the saying goes "that's why they play the game".
Imagine if Lebron wasn't a dog**** competitor who needed everything going in his favor to put up a real fight.
Imagine if Lebron wasn't scared to take control of important games under pressure.
LOL at trying to hold Lebron's self-inflicted wounds against anybody but him.
And for the record Kobe had to take over several critical games late because Shaq was in foul trouble.
That's the funny thing, replace Kobe with Lebron and guess what, they end up losing in the finals once Lebron doesn't have anybody to take pressure off him late in the game.
Had that been Lebron in Kobe's shoes it would have been the same old song and dance about him shrinking in crunch time.
Tell me that's not already a well established knock on Lebron, the whole world must be making it up right?

LOL at leaning so heavily on accolades (especially ones voted on by nerds) and stats when Lebron's playing in what's almost unanimously considered a "soft" era in the NBA.
1. Flopping is rampant, Lebron sure as hell isn't above it either.
2. No real big men anymore to clog the lanes and stop them BS layups that Lebron's career is predicated on.
3. No real competitiveness/rivalries between teams, everybody's friends out there.
4. Hard fouls from Kobe's era get players suspended now.
5. Rules and calls in favor of the offense more now than ever.
Oh yeah and Lebron beating up on a weak conference/ducking real competition, majority of talented concentrated among fewer teams.
It's a perfect storm if you're looking for a 'paper champ' to prop up.
And let's not forget that regarding accolades, Kobe was robbed of an MVP for a guy he literally teabagged out of the playoffs.
