I would recommend something with a minimal gap. That's always the goal, really, but it's even more important if trying to select a bench that will be comfortable for people of drastically differing heights.
I'll keep that in mind.
I'm basically stuck waiting until local stores have some benches in stock that we can see together in person.

My home gym
I finally got 90% of the things I have ordered in. I’m waiting on a set of Monster safety arms and a Monster bench seat to use for box squats and with my trolley arms.
I love this setup. I will never return to the gym for sure. I attached the Rhino belt squat to the side of the power rack and can use my spud pulley system and utilize the rhino to hold the weight. I can just detach the cable and roll it up out of the way around the top crossmember when not in use. It works Great, though I do plan to modify the pulley system to get it up higher (my rack had to be cut to fit in my basement due to the low ceilings).
Anyways. Here are the pictures of how it turned out. I need to put down baseboards and some crown mounding and do some small painting still to finish my work in the room.

Rhino is awesome. I can’t believe how versatile it really is. I use it to squat some and my wife loves it. Mine started out as a stand-alone unit and I bought the crossmembers to attach it to the rack.
I’m going to attach those legs that came from the stand-alone unit to the front of my rack and use those along with my monster utility seat on my trolley arms for seated calf raises I think.

Great setup. Glad you like the Rhino as it’s definitely next on my list to buy. I have to use stand alone as my Hammer Strength Half rack wouldn’t attach very easily.
Again, nice job on your gym. Looks awesome .

Super nice setup. Started off that in style. Any thoughts on adding a platform or flooring for pulling?

I have a platform in behind the rack. I bought the Rogue 6x8 frame and put in stall mats and 3/4 plywood. Here is a pic.

very nice polished efficient setup. get a couple of theater seats in there and you'd have a hard time leaving the basement for the most part of a day.

If there is one exercise we all love to hate and hate to love,it's the one. A plank is a simple ,effective bodyweight exercise that requires no equipment and can be performed just about anywhere (well, use your judgement).

We started building our home gym in August 2018 and this is it as of a couple months ago. Things have changed a little since then, but not too much.

These gyms are amazing! I thought it would be a laugh to show my current quarantine set up. I have to add the pictures on my profile for now until I get 50 posts, but check it out 😂 just got done with some floor presses. The bar is a used Yukon and the plates are Schislers that I fixed up. Only have the 45’s and 25’s, looking for the rest of the set still!

Hey there,
Thanks Eric, I tried but cannot seem to find the option? Does it work in mobile or just on a PC?

I had a new axle barbell made. 79 1/2" long 1 15/16" cold rolled steel bar with two M48 washers.
Steel Bar $78
Washers $13
Dozen doughnuts to the welder, he won't accept cash. $9
This is my first experience with a bare steel bar.

Awhile back I bought the adjustable brackets for my X-3 Lever arms. I used the old stationary brackets as wall mounted storage for the arms when not on the rack.

Well Purolator showed up today . I have to say the company that sells MAG bars is top notch shipping wise.
Mind blown that I just ordered them and there already here from the US .
Anyways I added the two neutral bars , the mid wide one and the narrow . That section of StoreWall is topped right up now

Awesome congrats on completing the collection of MAGs, I'm curious to know how the narrow pronate and neutral grips are in particular, those are the only two I don't own.

I’m actually kind of curious myself ,as I’ve never tried the neutrals . I think it’s probably a good idea to get a mix of everything in there , so your muscles don’t get used to the same repetitive movement week after week

Thanks. The mirrors took some planning since they were different sizes and thicknesses. I routed a channel out using a table saw and used different depths and widths so that when mounted, they would look the same size.

stopped making excuses
Newbie here, finally decided to stop making excuses from COVID and put together my own garage gym.
So far I'm pretty happy, turned out better than expected. Don't see how to add a picture to show it off...

I asked Eric above, says you have to be on IPad or PC to do it. Lot of effort so I might be bothered one day!
