Anyone have experience with the Parabody CM3 cable gym? Found one with a 210# stack for a good price. Since it's only a single stack I don't know if it's worth it for most 2-handed stuff, but might be nice for other assistance work. The machine is disassembled so I wasn't able to try it out.
Similar to this one:

Beat up BFS open top rack (by Pro-Elite), asking $800 in San Bernardino County: https://offerup.co/eElFFs41M8
I added some photos to my gallery of a bar some guy is selling at the moment. I don’t think I can post links of pictures until 50 posts, so... yeah.
He is asking $80. Anyone know what it is and if it’s worth it?

I'd be tempted to pay $800 for that rack, it's a diamond in the rough. You will be hard pressed to find a more bomb proof rack that the BFS Open top rack. It's easily the most overbuilt rack I have ever laid hands on......

I did a lot of research before I passed on it and posted it here haha. My dilemma was that I have an overbuilt (7-gauge, 3x4 uprights, 900lb) Star Trac half rack that I picked up for $200:
It appears the BFS version has 2x3 uprights that are all the same height (5'10"):
But Dom's Pro-Elite version has middle uprights that appear to be taller: https://forum.bodybuilding.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=8367483&d=1468073443
I could look past the fact that it doesn't have built-in pull-up bars, but my conclusion was that the BFS rack would not allow for monolifts on squats and I'm looking to get a set of monolifts in the near future.

I suspect Don's is 5'10" uprights, just looks bigger since it is in a basement that likely has a lower ceiling.

Completely understand, ironically I picked up one of those BFS racks for around $150-$200 myself and did a quick refurb to flip. The monolift was part of my issue with it as well, you'd have to be willing to tap a hole in the uprights and shim a pair of Titan or Rogue mono's to make it work. Dom's rack was a slightly different version I think, where the front uprights were a little shorter than the back. Either way I had a hard time letting go of that beast, but I've never been able to justify having a two rack setup.

One of these popped up by me for $500 (pre-COVID), and I passed on it for many of these reasons. Massive footprint, no pullup bar, uprights too low, large spacing. My York 3/4's front uprights are around 60", I think, and way too low to use monolifts for squats. 5'10" might work depending on your height. You'd have to still find/make monolifts that would fit.
two rack setup.
Looks like you're right. I compared his picture to the Pro-Elite website and the BFS.. Dom's center uprights have the same amount of hook placements as the BFS, the front uprights are just shorter. Repped.

Yep, I'm looking to buy a pair of REP 3x3 monolifts when they release and modify the flanges to wrap around 3x4 uprights. It was tough to pass on the BFS, but looks like I'll be staying in the half rack club for a bit longer.. a club I joined mostly because of your Pendlay Elite half rack reviews!

Yeah, it'd be perfect with pull-up height center uprights.

Half rack crew checking in!!! I'm REALLY interested to see what REP comes up with, considering they have drawn ALOT of inspiration from this forum and feedback on product design. Since I'm in the market for another pair of Mono's for my new rack part of me is hoping they took a page out of Mech's playbook and designed their mono's to his specifications. I'll go Rogue if there is no other option, I'm just hoping they ditch the stupid hockey stick and increase the ROM for the swing arm.
All things considered with COVID, even in a regular market this isn't a bad deal. Full Powerlift Rack + bench for $1500, could do alot worse...

I agree. i sold that same rack to a friend that has a commercial gym a couple years ago for $500. In these times $800 isn't bad. It's good for low ceilings also.

The middle uprights on Doms rack are 5'10". The tubing is 2"x3" but when you factor in the bolt on piece that has the drop in slots it's right at 3"x3". For my 3"x3" drop in 1/2 rack i bought 3"x3" attachments with 1" pins and cut the pins for the correct depth. Worked great.
Ive been out of the game for a bit but diving back in and getting a new rack set up. I regret missing out on the Rogue Trolley Arm deal a few years ago for $200. i would have bought both 35 and 48 inch back then. I will be on the hunt now for a 35 inch and a 48 inch set deals to go inside and outside the rack. Anyone see any, have any or know someone looking to move a set please let me know. This would be Monster sets(1 inch) versions. If i have to Ill go new over time but if I can find some used or not being used cheaper id consider a deal for sure. Im in the South Jersey area.
Thank you
Can anyone ID this leg press/hack squat combo? I thought it was a Bodysmith/Parabody at first, but it doesn't quite match the Bodysmith models I've seen. Guessing it's of similar quality with the rollers, though. The sticker on it looks to be from a fitness equipment reseller called "Iron Works":

Parabody rack. Pre-Covid the price would've been on the high side, but now with equipment in short supply maybe not a bad pick up for somebody in the market for a rack.

That's the newer version of that rack. It is a good rack for a home gym. Price is a little high but as you said , in todays market not bad for a solid rack.
Those pop-pin racks are super nice to adjust, bet someone could even add additional 2x3 attachments with everything we have available on the market today.
They also have an extra set of bar hooks on the front of the spotter arms that work well for racking a bar before/after skull crushers or LTE.
I liked that feature so much, I added a set to my current rack. .

I bought 2 of these - 1 for $475 and 1 for $550. I sold the $550 one for $800 and kept the other one. All of this was pre-COVID though.
Wonder why he's selling all his weights.....LOL

I've seen newer Ivanko OMs labeled as "Vintage" too. I mean it's not like you can buy these new NOW... ofc it's a different circumstance currently, lol. I'm guessing they're "Vintage" Style... in that case, the Brand New Rogue Plates are "Vintage" as well Haha.
Next time I sell something I'm going to label it 'Future Vintage', see if I can draw a premium. Bwhaha
My favorite is when someone posts Ivankos for sale and says they are made in the USA. :) I do love that the made in china sticker nearly falls off but "C'mon man..."
I'm going to go dig up some of my vintage welder 1" plates... The rust is what will make them vintage, right?

I sold a set of the Ironmaster-branded ones w/ stand (no bench) for $380 pre-COVID and they took awhile to sell at that price. Now the 75 sets are flying at $600. At the peak of the pandemic, they were selling for even more. I'm actually sorry I sold the ones I had as they had the stand where the plates sat alongside the handles.
