it's fun to see some good commercial stuff come up in my area: https://kansascity.craigslist.org/spo/d/cleveland-squat-rack-with-adjustable/6788553625.html
it says custom, and it might be. resembles the York version and similar to my Pro-Elite. don't recognize the bench but if it's sturdy then i think the 550 is pretty fair. I kind of hate the j-hooks, but if you're a huge badass you have custom Mech Monos instead...

50 cents a lb for weights. Maybe 400 for the cage. 100 for all the attatchments.
So maybe 800 is reasonable.
I put my home gym together off Chicago craigslist. Would skip right over your post.

Thanks man! I had the weights at .70 cents, rack @ $500. Will revisit the pricing. Was considering pricing everything individually for sale as well, prefer to sell everything in one go.

Found a Parrillo arched back incline bench today. It was mislabeled on CL and I confirmed it was a Parrillo by emailing John at the company and sending a picture to him. Anyone know what these go for in the used market? It’s pretty cool so I’ll keep it but just curious if they are still sought after.

IIRC, I gave about $40 for the last calf raise I bought...but it was a Yukon. 😝
Not a terrible price on that Nautilus, but the single vertical post would be a deal-breaker for me unless it was an absolutely smoking deal. I prefer dual horizontal posts for ease of loading.
I didnt mind it too much since I put the weight on there and it will stay. I have extra weight that can occupy it

Keep an eye on the knee pad seams. I've been using mine (at least once a week) for the last 12 years and the seams are finally giving way. Picked it up for $75 and really love it, very solid & easy to move around. Besides the vertical post (stasher1 is on the money) and the seams I have no regrets buying mine.
Will do, thanks. They still look brand new right now. Doesn't look like the machine has been used much at all.

I haven't been lurking my CL lately but for awhile i was really trying to find a good cheap calf raise. in my area it really wasn't happening.
ultimately, for something as specific as this, you sometimes just have to bite the bullet. $150 certainly isn't a steal, but if the piece is in good repair and it's a reputable brand, i think it's a pretty solid pickup
im thinking of selling my promaxima seated calf. i still have my york 1. not sure i need 2 of everything

It's a little bulkier than i prefer, but from what little i've seen of Rogers they're really well made. for $200 that's a no brainer.

It's only a couple hours from me but I can't stand the bulkiness of the side cover/fairing. Rogers is a Michigan company and my understanding is that they make great equipment but not sure if they sell direct to consumer or not
It's only a couple hours from me but I can't stand the bulkiness of the side cover/fairing. Rogers is a Michigan company and my understanding is that they make great equipment but not sure if they sell direct to consumer or not
Front feet kind of intrusive too, though in some ways having that sort of foot is useful for incline presses as a foot rest. The other nitpick is the pad is too ergonomic shaped for my preference, I always liked a straight forward pad that is about the same width head to toe with a minimalist seat and not much contouring. On the other hand, I've never used this particular bench so maybe it feels amazing. I sometimes wish I grabbed a Hammer Strength FWADJ when I saw one a year back but I don't have the space and I don't want the hassle of flipping my current Nautilus FW090 bench.

i'm the same way. I like the simplicity of most of more common commercial brands. If i needed a commercial bench i would definitely pick it up for $200. i think you could easily turn it around and break even, at least.
but if i had the option today, i would probably turn it away (though who knows, I might feel compelled to add to my collection)

One of the more sought after Flex Leverage pieces. Baltimore, Md. area. Looks like the seller has other nice equipment in the background. That CXP flat chest press matches my CXP shoulder press. Could be a potential large score there. Some of those revolvers in the picture are for sale, but not as cheap as the Ivankos that are in Richmond above.

I'm not buying anything for my gym until the girls start sleeping through the night and i have at least the opportunity to (make excuses as to why i can't) lift weights. but i think if i could find a good haul of OMEZS i'd break that rule.

I had something like this too. Saw a 4-Way neck machine on CL, commercial, medical/phys rehab kinda thing. Gal was selling it for $50. I found it online new by the model no., and it was like 2,500 new. I had been waiting for a good opportunity on one of these for a long time. Good ones are are to find and I like neck training. Anyway, it was like 2-3 hrs away, so I arranged to meet the gal on my day off (learned a lesson, move fast or lose it). That day wife and I made a day of it. Beautiful drive to small town. Gal had a local gym. She meets us out front. Very friendly. Brings us in through the gym to a back storage area. She says,..."and the neck machine is"....."is".....(looking around)....."well that's weird"...."it was right here earlier". I ended up leaving without it. She had no explanation where it went. But I figure someone else saw it, found out how much it was worth like I did, called on it, and beat my price. Not sure why she woulda had me drive out there though.
