great collection of vintage equipment coming for sale in chicago, condition looks great. Can't imagine there's many existing complete sets of those universal dumbbells out there. vintage york, ivanko chrome as well
Dumbbells are 5k... Seller also didn't even read my message when I asked about pricing for other stuff. Everything is SUPER cool though
-
Quality setup, someone who takes that kind of care during selection for sure left behind a detailed pricing list for the family to not get robbed.

Powerblock Pro Rexan $50-100 (eBay) Mesa AZ.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/234920427323?
Crazy deal if any of you guys are in Arizona.
-
Doesn't get much better than that, even using the buy now option $100 is a steal! Think the cheapest set of ProRexans I've bought was $200.

Wish it was nearby me. I could use a 2nd set of adj. DBs. Just finished a session where I had to dial my Hoist/Ironmaster DBs all the way down to 10 lbs., then back up to 35 lbs. *spin* *spin* *spin* <remove plates> *spin* *spin* *spin* *spin* *spin* <tighten> <do sets> *spin* *spin* *spin* *spin* *spin* <add plates> ($%~@#~ not far enough) *spin* *spin* *spin* <finish adding plates> *spin* *spin* *spin* <tighten>

Don't forget the plate math, I didn't realize how lazy I was until I tried switching back to IM's LOL.

I made a chart: https://www.linxnet.com/misc/images/Fitness/Hoist_DB_Weight_Tbl.pdf
Pinned it to the wall. Problem solved :)

Yeah it is helpful to have a handful of lighter weight cheap hexes on hand just for warmup sets when you have the IM for the main event.

Recent FB Marketplace advert for a Rogue Echo Bike. Guy's asking $800 and I'm thinkin' "They're $850 brand new and $600 factory refurbished. WTH?" Take a closer look. Ok, it's got the wind guard and phone holder, but, still... Then I read the description "This bike is practically brand new. It was an impulse buy by the wife. It was purchased brand new from Rogue and it was probably used two times."

This is epic. Like a FML appeal. Normally without decent margin I'd just buy new but if it didn't put me out (major drive/logistics etc...) I'd heavily consider bailing this guy out.

Yeah :)

Were it up to me, solely, I might be inclined. It's certainly close enough to me. But, the Family CFO would balk. Besides: I already have a C2 rower. I don't know whether I'll keep both, for variety, or decide to shed one of the two. If I decide on the latter course I'd prefer not to be too far out-of-pocket, and the going rate for these, used, is more around $500-$650.
C2 rowers maintain their value very well. I paid $800 for mine, it had almost no kilometers on it, and looks essentially brand-new. I should be able to move that for what I paid for it. I kinda sorta need to be in more-or-less the same place with the Rogue Echo if I'm going to maintain peace in the household ;)

He'll get no bailout from me. I'll take that for tree fiddy so I can flip for profit LOL. The only "Cardio" I'm willing to do is sled pushing on the street, most efficient way to get it done IMO. Rowers, bikes, ellipticals, and treadmills are wasted on me.

If one of those showed-up for that price anywhere nearby me I'd be all over it like a bad suit

I do like sleds. They had one at my gym-before-last. I'd get an Tank M1 except: Don't have a long enough run in the basement; the road out front is dirt/gravel; I don't have parking space for it in the garage; and it'd be unusable for 5-6 months out of the year, outdoors (winter), anyway.

I'd rather lift, but, MICT and HIIT cardio does good things for my resting HR, HR recovery, and blood pressure. Once I get on my full regimen, which includes cardio, I've found I can dump the Lisinopril entirely.
I like my C2 rower well enough, but, I'm thinking I may find the Echo more fun.

I actually got an M1 sled. Fricking great. I'd have gotten a regular one (far far cheaper too) except I don't want to eat up my lawn and my neighbors would rightfully be pissed at the grinding (old friend's road was dead end and nice hill so no one to care). Tank is perfect. Got the waist tow rope too so I can push or pull in a few ways. Will probably update my gym post as I moved a few things around and swapped out the GHD for the Inspire FTX functional trainer.

Nice rack! Pre-Pandemic I think I sold one similar for around $250, but mine was missing the safeties and j-hooks.

Anyone know anything about this leg press/hack squat? Not sure if Muscle Beach is an old brand I can't find any info on, or just a sticker someone put on it. Has somewhat of a TuffStuff look. I'm not understanding how you lock the carriage, since all I see is a safety stop at the bottom.
