[QUOTE=arkaa;1537013971]Is a slightly used (like new?) Rep AB-3000 FID Adjustable Bench worth $100?
I already have the IronMaster Super Bench, the Atlas Heavy Duty (Barbells4Me) flat bench and the PowerTec Bench that came with the PowerTec Lever Gym. I don't need another bench, but was wondering if I can (& should) replace the Flat Bench with the Rep FID. The Rep AB-3000 is a bit bigger & heavier, but more versatile. Would I miss the flat bench?

After watching the ad for a week, I finally gave in and picked up the Rep AB-3000 FID Bench for $100 yesterday. Seems brand new, I don't think it was ever used. It was a bit wobbly and I found that most of the bolts were just finger tightened and were coming off easily. I went over all the bolts with a wrench and tightened them up and it is rock solid now. Bench is big & heavy (85 lbs) and is a beast to move around, the wheels are no help unless you lift it up high.
Build quality & construction is equal to a pro-sumer or light-commercial bench. I think the design is a hybrid of the Hoist CF-2165 and CF-3165 benches - most of the bench seems a clone of the CF-2165, but the hand-grip and foot-pad mechanism seem to be from the CF-3165. All-in-all, seems like a excellent bench though it takes up quite a bit of room in the limited space of my gym. Will use it for a few weeks and see if I like it more than my IM Super Bench.
