That is one of the weirdest pad configs I've ever seen.
Welp, it was listed for $100. I was heading to go pick it up when I was contacted that somebody offered her $140 for it. I know who it was, he's a pretty ****ty flipper in the area that has no clue what he is doing.
Saves me the drive and moving things around.
Dam, I didn't even see it on there, I must be doing my searches all wrong. Lol
I'd say that bench is 95-110lbs tops. I doubt it's 130lbs or close to that. HallowedLunch is spot on with using the wheels, it really sucks.
I would've paid $200 even tbh.
It was facebook marketplace; she was honest with me and her other listings were for little kids clothes and where she lives is a lot cheaper than were I liev. I suspect the extra $40 makes a much bigger difference in her life than the bench does in mine. Such is life and there are a million things that are of more concern to me than this.
I understand though, that situation is a little different than what has happened to me. But I also wish terrible STD's on those who attempt to outbid others, lets just ruin the deal for everyone because you were late to the party!! haha

Agreed on that. Can't blame her but I can hope the guy that offered more gets Syphilis.

Yep, two recent times I actually beat you were this (and some db outbids) and on the Power Systems bench. They had that for me but I couldn't pick it up since my wife called and told me she had a migraine and needed me home with the kids. A 2.5 hour roundtrip to get it wasn't in the cards.
Having said that, just got my grippy fat pad from rep and really, really like it
I agree, if I make a deal with someone , I don't back out just because someone offered more. Last year a guy did this to me with a great deal on a Kubota tractor, we made the deal including price ( which was his asking price) and time of pickup which was 2 days later, i call the night before to get the address and found out it's gone. At least I didn't drive 3hrs down & back for nothing. Three days later it was listed on CL for $2500 more by a guy a few hours away
The flip-side of this is a buyer who agrees to a price and sets a meeting time days ahead of time, then never shows (or sends some sob story about why they can't make it), which has happened to me a few times. I no longer hold things for random people unless they want to send me a non-refundable Paypal deposit or they'll actually be on their way that day. Once the person has confirmed they'll be coming that day, I won't back out the deal, but there are too many flakes out there for me to give anyone the benefit of the doubt anymore.
I must be doing my searches all wrong. Lol
If you've been searching "wrong" for the last few years, I don't know if I want to see you searching right. Between you and Matrix there won't be any used equipment left for the rest of us.
Anyone near St. Charles, MI. Although overpriced as a lot this ad has a couple unbranded Ivanko 25s. May be able to get them to separate out a few plates.

They all suck, but it is what it is.
My worst experiences have been with people who say I'll come get it right now. I tell them how to get there and they're 20 minutes away but don't show up for 3 hours if at all.
I ask people when they want to come get it, and tell them I will be home for 1-2 hours at a specific time.

I have not pulled trigger on this yet. I am in 2 minds as the current 12" pad is quiet sufficient for me even though it is not as grippy as Rogue AB 2.0. I actually like little softness on the Rep pad. So would you mind elaborating little bit on the why you like it that much...

I can put up a review this weekend with pics and comparisons. Ultimately, it felt like it allowed me to keep my shoulders back and tighter. The width feels like it allows me to drive the bar up more (but may be mental, not physical). I didn't think the grippy pad material would make a big difference but it did seem less slippery. It's not like I was sliding off the bench but it has a slight amount of grip that ads a feel of stability.
Plus it felt like it weighs about 3-4 times the pad that came with it. Doesn't make a difference but it's nice knowing it is that much more sturdy.

That would help. well, on the other hand it is $50 shipped for ppl who bought the FB5000 initially. May be I am over thinking instead of just pulling the trigger

Yeah Sorry about that Power Systems, I was interested in a few pieces and said I could come ASAP, and he called me right away, I didn't know someone had beat me too it (although I figured someone might've).

alot of wannabe flippers popping up near me. i just need to be more dilligent. at the same time i dont want to live in the apps
This seller has the Hammer Strength FWADJ https://baltimore.craigslist.org/spo/d/hammer-strength-weight-bench/6635373088.html, pretty nice bench. I have used these before and the foot rest makes dumbbell shoulder press nice and tight. If I didn't already have the Nautilus I'd get this thing.

That is a great bench and IF the footrest takes up too much space , it unbolts.
Wenning Belt Squat
Here is one that you don't see everyday, price seems a bit rich for my blood but I'm sure it will likely sell anyway because they are so uncommon to find. LOVE the design, the bumper to keep it bottoming out is cool, just need to add some weight pegs to the rear! If the price dropped to $1,500 I would probably risk divorce on this one....LOL

If anyone comes across a decent cable crossover or Hammer Strength bench with footrest mentioned near New Jersey, would appreciate it. Preferably not from a gym flipper as their prices are ridiculous
These have been posted for a couple days now, so no telling if he just hasn't deleted his ad(s) He has another ad from a week ago for just the DD.

I don't know if that is a great deal but that is about the most bomb proof half rack you'll ever find
I'm split between the X-20 rack and a similarly priced Magnum open top rack & platform that is 120 miles further...

I'd call it a reasonable price, as long as it does have the spotter arms and hooks. Definitely bomb proof. The UCS stuff looks a lot like the York STS stuff, but even heavier duty. I missed out on a chance to get a UCS full cage locally, and still wish I'd been able to.

I have an open top rack and i love it. if you have the space i'd recommend it over a half rack. i have a second set of hooks that i can use on the outside of the front uprights, it gives you a second station to keep a bar if you want to.

Would it be easy to source hooks for this Magnum rack? I’ve been trying to source info on it and I’ve found a lot of positive reviews but it looks like Magnum has since gone out of business or was acquired... would I need to go custom? it’d be nice to find some UHMW lined hooks for it.
I did find this thread where urbanlifter posted a picture with a lineup of identical racks:
