If you have the room for a rack this size it's a good solid rack. 7 gauge refers to the metal thickness, 7 gauge being heavier. I would want the safety arms for both sides, if they aren't with the rack, you should be able to get some but factor that in as an additional expense. Pricing depends on how bad you want this particular rack. A couple of weeks ago there was a rack similar to this one made by Legend Fitness for sale in Columbus ( without the lifting platform) for $400, so if I wanted this one , I would pay up to about $700 max. and try for a lower price, this rack will be harder to sell than most because of the space it requires.
Good information, thank you. I don't see how the safety arms would fit, I don't know much about racks, but I don't see how you would fit or adjust them, ie...I don't see any way to attach more. Can you explain what I don't know. I don't have to set up the lifting platform, is that correct? It won't affect the stability of it, that is just an extra right?
The spotters for each side are shown in the pics, so if the price is right, you have the room for it, and can pick it up, go for it.
Stasher, thanks for responding. Forgive my lack of knowledge on the subject, but I only see jcups on one side for storing a bar and front spotters on the other side for working out in front of the bar. Is that what you are talking about? Is there even enough room to lift inside this cage on either side if I wanted to or is it just built for lifting on the outside? Thanks for any information you can give me.
I'm looking for a good cage, but don't want to pay too much.
Where are you located? I think this setup is a beauty. Nebula open top rack with plate storage, spotter stands, and bench for nine fiddy in Atlanta (Kennesaw).

After looking at the pictures again , the j-hooks and safeties are all accounted for , for both sides of the rack. This rack configuration is referred to as a double 1/2 rack. You lift on both sides on the outside of the uprights. Each side has adjustable j-hooks and adjustable safeties.

That rack is a nice one. I have a Magnum multi rack that’s very similar except I have a top cross member with a pull up bar.

Ah, yes I see them now. Thank you. Is there anything this rack cannot do, that a full rack can?

I'm in the southwest. Nice setup. There is a similar one I have seen for sale, but I know so little about racks, I don't know that I would prefer an open top.

That's just like mine. It's a Nebula 6021 Phase rack and matching 6021-B bench.
Solid mofo and well worth the asking price, imo.
Not a bad deal

Agreed, especially if it includes both sets of bar hooks and spotters shown in the pic.

from personal experience welded racks are very hard to move becasue they only fit in garages or commercial gyms. only pickups or trailers can fit them in... i had an icarian that took forever to sell, and i only got around 150 for it in NJ...

Was the Icarian commerical? The height and weight of those can be a real pain and eliminate a lot of people from the market. The Legend sides aren't that tall or that heavy so they probably have more of a home gym appeal as opposed to a fully commerical rack.

And also these guys will discount the price from listed price may not be that much but at least $50 to $100. Bought my OBS-20kg from them. First SS barbell. Only thing is they will charge is you sales tax. So $50 discount got offset by the sales tax.

I called about the Hammer Strength about an hour after it was up and he already had someone coming to pick it up this afternoon. Would have loved to have it but somehow it didn't come through in my CL automated e-mails and I was a little late on the call.
Crazy thing is he's selling other stuff and it is all reasonably priced or over priced but he's selling this bench cheap.

So what's your excuse if you never sold one?
Found this today, seems like a decent deal. What do you guys say?

Everyone already told you in the other thread that is an unbelievable deal. But the Hammer Strength stuff is already sold.

I called him last night and set everything up. Called him today, before I left, like I told him I would and told me someone picked it up but with a confusing story.........
That is the only adjustable HS bench I don't have that they make. Lol

Money talks and bullsh*t walks in the craigslist world. Whenever I sell something im lining up buyers until the item is moved...then ill send an email to everyone and tell them tough break. No hard feelings.

I'm not a flipper so I don't see the volume but that's a pretty ****ty approach. If you commit to someone, then sell it to them. The other people, tell them someone is in front of them and you'll let them know if it falls through.
I've been on both sides of that approach and it works just fine. The other side I've been on is that I had an agreed upon price and someone offered more. The seller contacted me and told me someone offered full price but I had an option at that price. I can live with that approach.

That Cybex bench looks real familiar.....probably cause that's my garage gym :D
I also have several other things for sale as well.
If you commit to someone, then sell it to them. .
I do not commit to selling to someone until they're actually on their way to me. For example, if someone calls me tonight and says they want to come and buy my item tomorrow, I'll tell them to email/call me back tomorrow when they are ready to get on the road to confirm the item is still available before they leave. If another person shows up to get it tonight, it's going to get sold. Once the first person says they're on the way I'll hold the item until they show or until it's obvious they're not coming, because I'm not a dick.
I've held enough things for people who say that they'll definitely buy it over email/phone, schedule a time, then never show, to know that I'll never do it for FREE again. I'm more than happy to hold with a nonrefundable cash deposit, be it money in my hand or money sent via Paypal (if someone's coming from a ways away).

I understand this, and it has happened to me countless times, items sold before guaranteed pick up, but it's his reasoning of how he sold it, that kind of annoyed me, if you're going to lie at least make it somewhat believable. I couldn't pick it up last night when I called him because it was already 9:30pm and it would be 10:30am the time I got there, and I had school in the morning, and was going to pick it up right after, in which he guaranteed it was mine.
The guy seemed a bit like a flake when I spoke to him last night
Yeah, he really tried to offer me other equipment. And was consistent with mentioning it when I talked to him. Lol
Benches I have to date in the basement are Reflex FI, Hammer Strength OHDADJ, Hammer Strength FWADJ, Cybex 5435, Icarian Super bench, Cybex 5437 (threw in my selling corner), and Life fitness FB31 (Same as the HS FWMAB). Like I said besides all the variations of the OHDADJ and FWMAB, I would've had all 3 different styled the Adj HS Benches, if i were to get that.
