Are those rare? If you have weights but aren't worried about losing muscle mass, then you could always sell it.
And then just re-buy what you sold after the gyms open again.
But if you own rare hard to find weights, then that's a different story all together.

The profit potential is tempting, but I've spent nearly 2 years collecting equipment so I'm reluctant to sell most of it. I did start going through my non-urethane plates though and decided to put some of those up for sale. Just about all of my standard plates, including some semi-collectable ones, are up for sale also. I'm on the fence with my Pro EXP Powerblocks. I can easily sell them for a ton of money, but they're extremely rare on the used market so I likely wouldn't be able to get this particular set again. They may go up for sale though as I still have my barbells to keep me going through Armageddon.

Been building up my gym for the past ten years, and a lot of it has become sentimental in addition to being practical to my needs. The stories behind the road-trip travels and deals have added to the experience of building it incrementally. Certain items like my squat rack (which was the one from my high school gym when I was on the football team) and my Ivanko revolvers are going nowhere.

Yeah I'm at the point where I got rid of the unnecessary extras. Now I can work out without having a workout just moving equipment around. Feel you on the stories on acquiring. 2013-2016 was some great years on this boards.
Partially joking, but I was tempted to sell the Powerblock 50's and stand I just bought, because I could easily make $100-$200 for doing nothing. Db's aren't essential but it's nice having them around. People have been posting 'Want Ads' saying they will pay at or above retail for a nice set.

The people paying stupid amount wouldn't know quality plates so they would expect to pay the same for Ivanko as they would Sports Authority, CAP and Weider crap. The premium for quality plates isn't worth selling since most people just wanted something regardless of quality

Rack looks like lightweight and low end. Plates are low end too. Before C19, that would maybe bring $300.
