The fact that they’re still available after six months answers your question. I agree with the others and wouldn’t pay over $1/lb for these. I sold about 600lbs of OM’s in the same condition as this listing for $1/lb. Revolvers will go for more.
exactly, sometimes it amazes me how clueless some people are. If it hasn’t sold in 6 months, it may be overpriced

Yeah, this dude's been trying to sell these urethane intek plates for like a month for basically what I paid new. The ad also used to say that they had some kind of corrosion damage from leaking pipes. Now he changed it to "relatively good shape" lol. Must have scrubbed all the ****water off.

Finally found some OMEZS in my area. about 45 minutes away from me. price is TINY bit expensive for me, and by tiny bit i mean a lot.
one question though: what's basjetball?
There were 450lbs of those and the guy paid $546 + a trip to Columbia and back.
Only modern plate that I would pay more than $1lb used.

All the pics in those ads were sourced from either vintage iron thread or YBBC thread/s from ppl's home gyms. Ppl are copying and pasting pics from here or from google and posting in wanted ads.
Yeah , i and there are plenty of ppl who would like to buy those plates and dumbbells etc.

Do Elitefts 0-90 Incline benches (non-collegiate) have a good resale value on the Craigslist market? I'm kicking around the idea of trading my Biotest Dead-Squat Bar for one, then flipping it afterwards, the bench is like new according to the person who wanted to trade me it and he showed me a few pictures of it. I'm curious if the bench will potentially fetch more than the trapbar on the market (I know this all depends on who wants it, but just curious in comparison).

from my own limited experience and from listening to others talk about selling commercial grade equipment, getting a good price on good equipment is a game of patience. much easier to sell junk at a markup than good quality stuff at a bargain.

I found a hoist H310 machine for about $200 but it’s a solid 2 hour drive each way. Really only want this for a few of the exercises. Only problem is it only has 200#s of weight.
Anyone have experience with this machine?

Yikes, I had finally today, JUST TODAY, after quite a while of flip flopping determined that the R3 was the right rack for my situation and was going to order it within the next week. And then this posts to C.L......................................................
BRAND NEW, NEVER USED, Titan T3 Shorty Power Rack (Rogue R3 clone). Made of 11 gauge steel and rated to 1,000lbs JUST LIKE ROGUE. Shorty 84" height for low ceilings. This comes with an extra two uprights (6 total), so you can easily convert this to a Rogue R6 clone by buying a couple of extra cross members. You will also get a set of Brand New One Fit Wonder Sandwich J-cups as an upgrade ($100 new).
***This comes with one pull-up bar, but Titan sells another one for $35, or you can upgrade to Multi grip pull-up for $64***
***Missing safety rods. You could buy new ones for $31 or upgrade to Safety Straps for $77 or Swing-in Safeties for $80***
This rack sells new from Titan for $369, buy it here for $175 FIRM. Even with having to purchase one pull-up bar (has one, but normally comes with 2) and safety rods, total cost would be $240 and you would get 6 uprights and upgraded Sandwich J-Cups. You can even customize the heck out of this for the same price as a new one.
Stock photo, but I assure you never used or assembled and in original plastic.
................................and the guy is right, monkey bar and flip down safeties and that is a pretty nice setup for 300 and change........ Oh and it even has sandwich j cups from Fringe.... I', thinking buy this now, get my Rogue rack next Black Friday, and flip this one right after....thoughts?
-
Is it really worth for you to wait 9 months to save $125 on shipping, granted you buy 4 other items, and maybe save another $50 on the rack (granted it goes on sale, which it probably won't). Decisions on the T3 rack may vary, because on one side it's a great deal (I would agree with), because for an additional $200 from titan you can probably have all the pieces missing on that rack, but on the other side, you're still paying for an incomplete rack, AND you seem to have the decision of getting the R3 rack anyways, so why not get it.
-
@za78 I saw that last night and thought about snagging it. My only concern was what if I run into one of the usual titan issues (bent, broken, missing, etc). Do I have any recourse since I bought if on CL?
Also that guy has been listing lots of nice stuff. Has a BWTG hex bar listed for $150 now.
-
Good point on the saving 150, my years in college beat the cheap into me. Sometimes it is tough to buy the top end item when a cheap alternative exists...especially this cheap. Those sandwich j cups alone retail for something like 140 at Fringe.
I saw the hex bar but already have a BWTG hex. I think he is also the guy selling brand new Rogue landmines for 60, a Reflex GHR for 350 and am pretty sure he sold a SS Ivanko for 400 or so last month. Most likely a dealer but my primary issue was the same as yours. He can't verify the fit or finish on the individual parts since he made no attempt to assemble. Of course Titan will not be replacing anything under warranty. So you end up with the risk of buying Titan, multiplied by 2 due to no warranty, but at half the price again. I guess this really comes down to a risk adverseness measure.
Can get the same setup at Rogue for about 1200, from Titan for 600 or this setup for 300. I had already passed on the middle ground in my mind so someone please help me out and buy this Titan setup on C.L. so that I can be free to order from Rogue. ;-)
-
What are you using now? As someone who initially bought all cheap equipment: understand that in most cases you really do get what you pay for.
will it work? probably. is that enough? you decide.
for me, i ended up wanting far better quality than what i got, though what i got is still setup in my basement and works (lately i only use it for pull ups) fine. but i got sick of the painted safeties (seriously) flaking chips of paint every time i adjusted them. i got sick of the wobble. i got sick of wanting accessories that cost more than what i paid for my rack...
I'd definitely pass on the Titan and wait for better equipment to show up.
-
I did pass and ordered the R-3BT. Being economical is a good thing. However, utility and value measures do not necessarily peak with the lowest priced item. After reading forum posts since December, I decided that for me the R-3BT would yield the highest joy per dollar spent in the long run.

Titan equipment has it's place. But, you already knew what you wanted and had the $$$ to get it. Wise decision, one that I don't see you ever regretting.

i think some of their non-essential accessories are really priced well, but i wouldn't want to build my gym around their racks or accessories for sure.
and with gym equipment: there's a lot of money saved by buying better the first time around.

Some decent deals here, I have owned one of these BS Calf machines before and it's a nice unit for $100. The other two I would be more likely inclined to negotiate, I like the leverage squat closer to the $200 range but a strong case could be made for the Powertec as it sit's. Doesn't get much more compact than that for a home gym!

I'm not a fan of the Bodysolid or Powertech squat machines. You can find commercial pieces for $300 - $500 that are a lot nicer.
But, that is a pretty good buy on the other 2 listings, I hadn't ever seen that Powertech leg press before.

Truth. But some of those commercial machines are enormous, I haven't seen very many leg press machines as compact as the P-tech. This picture really put the size into perspective, although it's still bigger than my new homemade belt squat machine (haha). ;)

I've had a bad run with CL lately. Other than the Olympic free weights, which sold in days, nothing is really selling. I've been trying to flip the Ironmaster Super Bench with all accessories and can't get a bite, lol. I'd take less than asking by far, but aimed perhaps too high to start off.
