I would expect an ad like that to have a lifespan measured in hours, if not minutes. If I see a great deal, I jump on it immediately. I know if I don't act immediately, someone else will.

Yep. I would have contacted them this morning and driven over to pick it up if it was still available. As long as everything worked, I wouldn't even have haggled on price.
I figured it wouldn't last long, but I really had no interest in it....although I did consider it. Figured I would attempt to help someone here get a good deal.
Is a slightly used (like new?) Rep AB-3000 FID Adjustable Bench worth $100?
I already have the IronMaster Super Bench, the Atlas Heavy Duty (Barbells4Me) flat bench and the PowerTec Bench that came with the PowerTec Lever Gym. I don't need another bench, but was wondering if I can (& should) replace the Flat Bench with the Rep FID. The Rep AB-3000 is a bit bigger & heavier, but more versatile. Would I miss the flat bench?

#1: Yes, it's worth $100
#2: NO, I would not get rid of the Atlas bench just to have the REP AB-3000. You have a good combo between the IM and Atlas, REP is 'less than' both and would only really add the decline option.

That's what I thought, thanks for the reply.
I might still pickup the Rep bench just for fun and flip it on CL if & when I get bored with it.
American Barbell Gym Bar, (or maybe GPI) only appears to missing an endcap. I didn't have 2 power bars already, I'd pick it up for sure.

Tempting, but another bar is not on my short list.
Wish I could find a deal like that around here. Our pickings are slim with quality stuff.
Don't see these every day round here, Magnum bench that appears to be in pretty good shape!

^ Is that the AB-3100 V1 or V2? Cannot tell from the ad.

I think that is the 5100? Not out yet.

How would one be for sale used on craigslist already if it wasn't even offered for sale yet? Was this a factory second? Strange the craigslist ad wouldn't just say this is Rep Fitness a prototype or demo model for a soon to be released bench not offered to the public yet. This was Rep Fitness selling this themselves on craigslist, no?
What's the story on the 5100? Never heard it mentioned and the AB3100 v2 just came out. Is it supposed to be an FID bench? Is it the next version of the AB3000 FID?

I'll start off by saying I'm not 100%, so take with a grain of salt. I believe the 5100 is their version of the pop pin style with minimal pad gap. I thought I remembered reading there where some issues that they had to work out with it prior to release.
I know they are based out of Colorado. I'm guessing they may have sold it at their brick n mortar store and now this person is selling on Craigslist?

Thanks and your theory seems plausible.

It was stolen from our prototype area in the warehouse by an employee who has since been terminated. Not a great idea to steal when we have 20 cameras covering the whole place, but it was a young guy.
These benches are still under development, but we're really close. Engineering team is looking over a new prototype at our shop this week.

Any ETA on the AB-5100? I just ordered the FB-5000 today and will add the wide pad when it is available (send CS an e-mail after ordering). If I like that I can certainly see getting the AB-5100 as well

You could most likely involve your local Popo and recover your property, if you really wanted to.
I know I would.
Rare opportunity now that Mech is no longer producing mono's, might not see these for a while!!!

Excellent. I absolutely despise thieves and hope they all get cancer of the dingus and bunghole, at the same time.

I'd like to go ahead and buy it for the listed $120 price. Just send it to me with one of those stainless steel power bars. :)

I know mech made some quality products...but are mono's difficult to come by for rogue racks?

Just wanted a second opinion on making an offer if they do.
