Honestly I'm not surprised, if I recall correctly that early model was rather rare and sought after. Sometimes I wish I would have kept my SuperPullover, but I still understand why I sold it. Fantastic machine but they take up so much space for such limited use. I decided to pass on the one in the picture even though it was rare, having to load plates in the rear would be a pain in the butt and eat up even more floor space.
thats why i love my polaris one. not too big a footprint. also shoulder and elbow adjustable for any size a person. ive never seen another like that.

Take some pics and upload them. We'd love to see your gym.

There was one of these in that general direction for $225 several months ago, but I passed on it. Since then I've seen a couple others go for $400-700, so $425 seems like a fair deal. I probably should have grabbed that one for $225 and flipped it. :p

Looks like it would be an appropriate machine for training high school and college athletes rather than for training bodybuilding. Still looked interesting due to the opposing push/pull dynamic.

Anyone seen a Universal leg press/hack squat? Doesn't look like the world's best leg press, but does look like it could fit into what little floor space I have left. Seller says it has no seat, just a back pad, which seems odd to me, but I can find absolutely no info on it. The only Universal equipment I've seen are their home gyms.

It's hard to imagine it didn't have at least some type panel there. You could easily put one there if need be. I hope it's cheap cheap. :D

Life Fitness CMDAP functional trainer in San Diego, CA. This is a 1:4 unit, which I know some guys don't like, but these are smooth as butter and that's a great price even if you can't get him down.

I had an Atlantis half rack with platform and an Atlantis Poliquin full rack in like new condition and I sat on them for months and had to lower the price to $550. I find that people on Ohio or this region have no clue who Atlantis is or how nice their equipment is.

Paint it black, slap a Rogue sticker on it, and use the word "crossfit" in your listing. It'll be gone in minutes for 3x what it's worth. :D

I haven't posted on here in forever, hoping to get some help as I will be moving and unfortunately will not have room for my pieces. I've posted a few on CL and I've probably overpriced a bit, but the Philly CL market is full over overpriced flippers last I recall.
Anyway, would anyone be up for exchanging some PM's and helping me price things out? I'd like to get everything moved over the next 4-6 weeks. I don't want to list out everything here and skirt on breaking the forum rules.

The Rogue used market blows my mind. Every single thing is then compared to Rogues prices so they dictate the used market pricing too for similar products from different brands. I am working towards doing more and more business with them so eventually it may really pay off that I'm 15 minutes from them.

I've been running out of room so I avoided c-list or fb marketplace, etc. Then, I see this thing on the curb, with a free sign on it, a couple houses down from me. Had to have it.

Nice. Is it fully functional?
Nice. Is it fully functional?
Yes. Gave it a test run, and everything seems functional, except the electronic display which probably just needs a battery. A bit squeaky at higher speeds, but I'm sure I can take care of that pretty easily.

In the interest of retaining its resale value, I'd suggest disconnecting the "speedo" cable. They're no longer available, and typically bring about $50 on Ebay in good condition. The gauge isn't really suitable for HIIT training anyway, because high RPM ranges will make the gauge spin all the way around. :D
The electronic timer may need a battery, but it may also need a new polarizing filter. If you remove the outer piece of plastic on that display, the screen will appear blank. It's only visible thru the polarized filter. I wouldn't have thought it possible, but the original timer on the one I just sold was just in need of a new filter. It was easier for me to replace the timer with a functioning used one, but a piece of filter would've worked as well.
If you plan on keeping it and using it for HIIT or tabatas, I'd upgrade it to a newer electronic console.

I did not know about the speedo cable. I'll set it aside as I plan to do a teardown and clean and respray everything. I guess I can try to part the cable separately and use that to help buy a newer electronic console. If I keep it, I plan to upgrade the pedals (looks like a dog chewed on one), the foam on the handlebars, and possibly the seat.
-

The handlebar foam is available from Amazon in a four pack for pretty cheap, and the pedals are the smaller diameter BMX-style threads (1/2"?).
If you decide to do a console upgrade, decide whether you want to go with the (newer) original style or if you want to invest the $$ in an Assault bike style console. The magnetic sending unit on the fan is the same either way, so it's just a matter of how original you want to keep it. The Xebex Air Bike console is only $60 or so, works great, and fits the original brackets with a little bit of modding.
I also have a fully functional Airdyne console with cable and pickup that I took off mine, and probably have an extra set of new grips too, if you're looking to keep it more original.

How much should i sell these for? Someone is offering 29 dollars for them right now. But i think i can ask for due to the corona virus hype and every gym being closed.
20 lbs per db.
4 plates of 2.2 lbs.
4 plates of 1.1 lbs.
the handles and the spinlocks.

They appear to be cheap, Chinese spinlocks. I think their offer is about 50% more than they're worth.
You might be able to get more for them if you find a small, weak, desperate woman looking for low-end adjustable dumbbells...but that's your call.

Not sure what's cheap about them. It's just basic cast iron plates.
The highest bid just got bumped to $37. Within an hour of listing it total.
I think i'll sell it tomorrow and see how much further it goes up.
Thanks for the reply!

Yeah I know this isn't the best time for that. I've been wanting to piece together my garage gym again and this Covid-10 crap was the push I needed.
