Sorry, not following. No sense made.
Sorry, not following. No sense made.
the item is not discounted in price nor is it rare. it is simply out of stock and will be available to buy at the same price later. the rogue bench is difficult to find at the discounted price (because it's used).
therefore logic dictates that you should buy the used bench because you can resell it at the same (or potentially higher) price than you bought it. you can test it out and if it does not fit your requirements you can simply sell it and still go out and buy the REP bench.
if you bought the rep bench first and didn't like it, you would be unlikely to find a rogue bench w/ fat pad at a good price (which that is)
Now: do you need me to draw you a picture with a crayon? or are you able to understand this explanation? i'm not sure how much more clear i could be, but apparently you are not following and cannot understand common sense and logic

I think he's pointing out that the $140 used price is better than the $300 new price. He's wondering why this doesn't make it a good deal similar to the deal on the used Rogue.

The only thing I need you to do is stop typing and start reading. Everything you write is a word salad.

i think you are missing the 53 at end of the link.
better than nothing at all, but if i remember that rack the safeties are really minimal (like the powertec half rack). if i lived close id buy it, just keep the oly plates since they are worth $100, then sell the rest for $100-$150....though you'd probably half to wait around for a while to do so.

good one
Scored 420 lbs of black Ivanko flange plates at $350 to use on my leverage row once it's built, not sure of which series they are, but I know they aren't the M series...I'll check to see if they are painted black, or the actual black plates...either way they are machined and within the 2% plus, or minus, got the Ivanko name and from afar look along the lines of the Troy PO plates which are nice, but expensive new and for less plates in the set.
Credit goes out to my sis for going a bit of a ways out to get them in her area for me and to Asjogren and vhd16 for the contact of the sellers and assuring their reputations.
I'll post some pics of the plates as soon I get 'em (probably some time next week when she visits).

Nice. They looked like O2B from the ad. Could be Gray as well. Rest assured you don't have to worry about tolerance
At what price would a T-bar barbell shorty be worth picking up if in almost new condition? Seems like a more useful version of a curl bar. Comes with a pair of Hampton urethane easy grip 10s that I would resell for 20 or so.
Just noticed the T-bar is back on Craigslist.
vhd16 and Asjogren, thanks for the help and the vote of confidence on my plate choice fellas. I can't wait to see them in person, if I find some time I might even re-paint them.
Here they are as promised the 420 lbs of Ivankos in my sister's SUV, she'll bring 'em over on the next weekend, or so...

Found these roughly 2 hours from me. Asking $1/lb for the Yorks, and $100 total for the Nautilus.
Love the Nautilus plates.

What is with Seattle? I thought moving here there would be all kinds of stuff on CL. Looking for a new rack and there’s nothing worth buying.
Crazy.

Crazy.
Shouldn't have any problem finding homeless people there. Honestly, I loved visiting Seattle for a week ,but because it was Winter and we couldn't get to Snoqualmie Pass and most of the ferries weren't running, a week was way more than enough for me. Peace, love and happiness Bro'.

The guy in Tecumseh has a lot for sale; see if you can package some things and get some other items of interest.
Note: It's not me selling this stuff.
