Do I just cut and stay small until that stuff clears up?

Before I went in I estimated around that level as well based on the picture references online, then watching other people's DEXA scans I figured I have to be over 20%, and believe it or not when I finally got my own DEXA scan results, they read 26.5% body fat. Completely changed my view of what different body fat percentages look like.
Losing weight is not an easy task. People spend years to lose weight, but some fail it at miserably. Most of the times this happens is when they are not eating the right food or are not eating the right foods. One of the most significant mistakes people make when it comes to dieting is that they do not know what they should avoid. It is more important to keep track of what you eat and know what foods to avoid.
Hey there! I took like 7 photos to help determine my body fat, (its in my gallery-first time using it). Let me know your honest opinions.

Height: 5'11
Weight: 177 lbs
Photos in my gallery !
I have some belly fat around my stomach , and think i have around 12 or 13% of body fat . I want to get mass and to get bigger , but i dont want to get and look fat . So , should I dirty bulk and then cut , or should I do clean bulk and then cut or cut first and then bulk. Thank you very much !
5'6, 159lbs what would you guys estimate my body fat % is by looking at my Profile Picture?
Wanting to get to around 10-11% before lean bulking. Thanks in advance!

13-14% imo. Would not take a long time to get there.
Thanks
Photos in my "progress pics". Can I please get an estimate? I think I got a bit leaner since last time.
Can someone post an example of what a true ten percentage body fat looks like with decent muscle mass (not too much) - looking for a lean/"toned body" example.

Somewhere in the mid teens, but waist up pics are only going to give so much info. Some men hold a lot of fat in their thighs.
5'6, 159lbs what would you guys estimate my body fat % is by looking at my Profile Picture!
It's one 2x2 image. Nothing from the back, no legs and you want prescision response to get to 10-11% BF? Based on info probided my guess you are likely somwhere in the lower teens now.

Rough estimate, somewhere between 30-35%
5'11, 170 Lbs. Cold flexed.
No real way to guess. One pic from waist up with hands over head does not provide much to go on.

Just got a DEXA scan - curious how close your estimates would be. Will let you know the scan results after seeing a few guesses :)
Your pic does not look like someone 5'10 and 203. But it's one really grainy waist up pic so really hard to comment. Not really looking to compete/compare with a DXA on that limited info.
Maybe if you want the forums time, put some work in of your own, review the OP and post some better pics.
I'll recap here:

Calipers, Dexa, hydro-static weighting, all have error rates, and this thread is no different. If you think you are 13% BF and others think you are 15%, consider thanking them for the estimate and take it all with a grain of salt.
It takes time to lay down muscle, it takes time to change your body composition. Set realistic goals.
How do I post?
1. You need to be an adult.
2. Please include your height and weight with request.
3. Best results will include full body pictures, in a relaxed pose, taken from front, side, and back.
4. You could host your pics on a site like Imgur, and embed them in this thread. If you don't know how to embed a pic, click "Reply with quote" to a post with a pic embedded and look at the code.
5. Shorts work fine for men, shorts and a sports bra or top works fine for women.
*If you want to participate and cannot post pictures in the thread due to post count, you may use your progress picture section of your Bodyspace and type "Pics in body space", and follow the rest of the instructions as normal.

Cutting since the beginning of the year from about 200 pounds.
Taken after a meal (IF - "16, 8"; after the second (last) meal). Flexing and normal, as well as two face (for gains - normal and mirror) images.
Estimating about 11% - would that be correct? The goal is to finish at 10% at around 60kg and to bulk at a surplus of 125 to 11-12% (3-4 months). Currently doing "keto" and will increase my carbohydrates at 60kg to allow more cutting at the same weight - do not want to go under that (low BMI concerns).
Thanks! :-)
As a note, feeling sluggish for the last couple of weeks. Had to up my diet to 1875 daily at a TDEE of 2250 (375 deficit). Hitting the gym twice per week and swimming once, as well as 5000 steps per day. Diet is normal. Sleep is suffering due to partial insomnia. Take plenty of supplements.

Hey guys, just looking for a BF estimate I've been steadily cutting for the last few months and wondering whether to continue a little longer or start a slow bulk?

Not really a bodybuilder more into power athletics, so I don’t need to be shredded, just wondering my bf and how much more weight I should lose before trying to gain weight. Planning to just eat 200-300 over maintenance once I’ve leaned out.
Thanks in advance!
Hi all. Deciding whether i should keep cutting or start bulking. My roommate thinks I should bulk, I personally think i still need to cut. I'm 6' 1" and fluctuating between 168 and 169 lbs. My scale says I'm about 16% body fat and calculators online have put me between 7 and 12% I'm thinking the scale is more accurate. Forum won't let me post links yet so the pics will be in my gallery. Thanks in advance!
5'9" - 178 lbs - 30 inch waist
May as well see what people think i'm at, refer to my progress pics for the examples. As for the legs I hold basically no fat in my legs, I get veins going through them long before I notice any upper body definition.
I'm also logging my cut if anyone wants to check that out as well! :)
25 - 5ft11 - 179lbs - 33/34inch waist
See progress photos. Curious to know what BF% I'm at as really have no idea.
Thanks!

Started at 150 lbs. 4 weeks ago. I thought I was at 25% body fat around that time and now 20%. Taken this pic just now that looks like at 30% body fat.
Just finished my 2nd month on cut. Eating 1,500 calories on cut. Lost around 7 lbs on first month while lost only 4 lbs on 2nd month. I'm at 139 lbs. now and decided to start my bulk at 2,200 calories. I want a good estimate on my body fat % so that I will have an idea how much muscle and fat I gained after I bulk for 8 months. Feel free to estimate even though someone already did so that I can have several opinions.
Height: 5'6"
Weight: 139 lbs.
Hey everyone,
1,98m (about 6'3) and 79kg (about 175lbs). Is it time to go back to eating at maintenance for a while? Weight loss has stalled for the past 2 weeks or so and I don't think I should get any lighter, considerig my height.
Pictures are in BodySpace.
Thanks in advance!

Lean bulk would be my advice. Cutting any further won't do anything good for you.
Sup guise. Been leaning out nicely. Any guess to the bf%? Thanks!

Good progress mate, out of interest how much did you weigh in your before photo? I am 6’6 too so it’s good to get an idea.
6’ 0” Currently 179 (Second Pic)
Started my weight loss at 265 and cut way too quick. Dropped to 174 (First Pic). I Wanna put on mass but feel like I have too much fat. Any estimates on either picture?
I'm new and want to get my body fat before starting to bulk.

Hey! :-) About 15% (up to 16%) - decent muscle mass but the amount of fat is still protruding.
Please estimate my BF percentage. I am 53 years old, 5'8" and 185 lbs coming down from 225 lbs four months ago. My goal is 10% BF. Lately, I have been consuming 2000 calories daily eating clean with about 150-200 grams protein each day.

Hey! 13-14% - decent muscle mass. Don't push the deficit beyond 500 calories daily to preserve.

Hi. Don't bother above 20%, as you're about 22-23%. Some muscles - I would suggest a 750-1000 daily deficit with at least 150 grams of protein per day, as well as sufficient rest (7.5 hours of sleep at least) and 3-4 days of gym per week. CICO>all, if you strong, don't bother with cardio, just lift heavy and be strict on your diet - eat healthy to not feel hungry. You're pretty short, so your TDEE will be less already.
u saying that about the new pictures rigth?
