Looking to get an update as it's been a while since I last got an estimate. Also, any thoughts on whether I should cut another 10-15 lbs would be appreciated. Thinking I should keep going to at least 145.

Need a body fat prediction guys. I'm 55.7kg now, although I am on a cyclical keto diet so add 1-2kg of water weight when I come off it. Used to be 71kg of pure fat but I went on strict keto 900 calories a day for 3.5 months and here I am now.
I didn't lift while I lost the fat though, so I'm still slightly skinny fat. Now that I've cut down a lot of fat I've started lifting...only 2 weeks in so not really any visible progress yet.
Any idea what my body fat percentage might be? Goal is ultimate the 10% bf lean look with decent abs though I'm aware this is gonna be a long term target.

That'd put me at 18.5lbs of body fat, so 18.5*32 calories per pound = I should be able to sustain around a 600kcal deficit a day without losing muscle while lifting. Around 1lb a week of body fat can be lost, so it'll take me around 6 weeks to reach 10% body fat, at which point I'll start lean bulking. That sound about right?
-

I wouldn't cut. Instead, I would eat at maintenance and once your lifts start stalling, then go into a surplus. You need to build more muscle more than you need to lose fat right now.

Strengthen your abs and your glutes. I would RKC planks and some kind of hinge- rdls, kettlebell swings, etc.

Damn. I got my body fat measure by a bodpod machine (one of those air displacement things) and it came back as 23% bf.

I should also specify that around this time last year I was ~215 lbs. Not sure if that matters...kind of want some visible abs before bulking again. Not sure when that well be...at this point it seems like never unless i'm 150 lbs, lmao.[/QUOTE]
I think you are at 17%. What kind of impendance machine are you using? The ones with 4 points are usually pretty accurate (see Validity of Four Commercial Bioelectrical Impedance Scales in Measuring Body Fat among Chinese Children and Adolescents on pubmed PMCID: PMC4475745). However at 11% you would see well defined abs. You would see a bit of an outline of abs at 15%, so you are not there either. It looks like you have sucked in your stomach as well.

It could be a mix of fat and loose skin. If it were all loose skin, then it would be very thin, like the back of your hand.
My guess is that you need to build more ab muscle to get the definition you want, so I would cut a few more pounds, then lean bulk and then cut again. You may need to repeat this process a couple of times to get to where you want to be.

How much direct ab work have you been doing?
Squats/deadlifts are not the best way to train them. Some people have better ab genetics than others and can get away with little direct work, but that's not everyone.
If you want a muscle to grow, give it more volume. I'd do things like ab wheel, hanging ab raises, pallof presses, etc.

Hey, I was just looking to see if anyone could estimate my body fat? And do I look like my weight of 275lbs right now?
2 years ago I started at 300lbs all fat and dropped to about 220, I was looking really small. I decided to spend the second half of 2017 eating whatever and enjoying my life just to reset my everything cause I didn’t like where I was at....and I enjoy the challenge.
This time around I want to lose just the fat, does anyone have any tips? I already have my diet planned out to 2000cal with a 20/40/40 split. I’m currently 19 years old weighing 275 at 6’0 and I estimate my BF to be around 25-30% but I’d like to know your opinion and anything else you could share with me!! Also I lift about 5 days a week, 2 strength days and 3 hypertrophy.
I can’t post photos yet so I have my Profile picture and another larger photo on my profile!
Thanks
