maintained weight, maybe gained a lb or two since last post in April
154 lbs
39yo
7 point Calipers say 7.1%
Starting to see vascularity in lower stomach. Cant really see it in pics.
Don't feel like I'm gaining any muscle? Lifts are getting better though, so I dunno. Increased my cals a bit and we'll see.
New pictures in gallery.
Thanks in advance.[/QUOTE

I'd say around 13%
Just FYI ignore calipers and bodyfat scales, they're so inaccurate that they're not even worth using
Also if you are consistently progressing in your lifts you are likely gaining muscle. It is just a slow process. Increasing cals will definitely help

cool thanks. Yeah I know calipers and even Dexa isn't accurate. I still track it to be consistently inconsistent though.

Interested to see my estimate now! Electrical impedance pegs me at 12%, military calculator pegs me at 11%. I know these are not accurate and am only providing it to you as information. I use these methods to log my progress as I have a hard time noticing differences in the mirror.
Check my bodyspace. I uploaded 3 pics. I seem to hold fat last on my stomach area.
Currently 178-lbs
How much weight do you suspect I require to lose until I am at 8% assuming minimal muscle loss, maybe 1/3.

16% BF and based upon that you would need to hit 162 to be at 8% and that is assuming that you retained literally all of your lean mass while dropping 16 pounds of fat.

IMO closer to 19%

Be back at 160 for an update. Cheers.

We have similar H and W. I would say, and other ppl here have estimated me, between 15 and 13% respectively.
Based on that, I would say you're 16-18%.
Back looks great! Good work.

Aiming for 70KG, what would my BF % be at 70KG & Should I keep on cutting or lean bulk from there?

Thats an 11% drop in total body weight. I would say you are 20-23% BF now. So if you lost 8 kg in ONLY fat you would be closer to 10%.
I would continue your cut as long as its not too drastic.
Hi, can someone estimate my bf% please?
Also do you think I currently have any muscle to work with once I've lost more weight?

30% and you need to start lifting seriously if you want to have any muscle on your frame after you have dieted off all of the fat
-
Thanks for your comment. By lifting seriously do you mean both doing it consistently as well as lifting heavy weights each time? Or more to it?
Btw,just out of curiosity, could you estimate my bf% of when I first started too please? I was 257lbs and 25 years old:
48-50% and by "lifting seriously" I mean that you need to follow a proven weight training plan (Fierce 5, Stronglifts, Etc.) correctly and consistently while in a deficit or you will lose what lean mass you have and just end up skinny and deflated looking.

Any ideas? Am I lean enough for a lean bulk?
-
Hi all,
I'am now dieting for three months and would like to know how much longer I need to cut, so it would nice to have a body fat estimate.
My stats now are:
5'6", 26 years old and 159lbs
My pics are in my gallery, could not add it to my message because of my low post counts. I am new to this forum, read a lot but did not send posts.
Thanks in advance!

IMO thats really up to you. 5'11" and 145 lbs is awfully lean but if you want to get even leaner then do so. You look pretty athletic now. Good work!

Current bodyfat level
Hi guys I've uploaded my most recent picture to my galery. Can anybody please estimate my current bodyfat percentage?
I've been dieting for 4 months now but I have only managed to get 4 packs? Is this genetics? Or is my bodyfat not low enough?
And also, sometimes I feel like my obliques make me look fat, what do you think? I'm new to this game, so please give me some insight.

I'd say 15%
-
I'd say 15%
Cheers! I'll go for a semi-aggressive deficit (-750 kcal) to knock one or two percent off that number and start lean bulking. Thanks for the insight

15nish %
It may be genetic. Everyone loses fat in different areas at different times. Many guys' lower abs and lower back are the last to go. I know it is for me..
You look good now I think but 1-2 % will make a big difference. Good work! Keep going!
*edit
Also, I don't think your obliques make you look fat. IMO they form the 'v' to your lower abs. Wider shoulders and lats will give your waist a slimmer look if that helps. I have the same critique on my own obliques and working to get wider on top.
