Yeah, (24-26%) seems reasonable.

That is lower than 17%.
Assuming that you aren't flexing in those pictures and taking the terrible lighting into account, that is more like 12% maybe.

Reposting with relaxed front for more accurate estimate. What do you guys think? My personal guess is 28~%
For those who missed earlier post, I am 25, 5’8 and weigh 205 pounds~. Cut down from 250+ in Jan based on high protein diet and consistent lifting. Been lifting on and off for the past many years but only dialed in routine and diet this year.

No, Relaxed it looks like you are over 30%. 33%ish.
You have about 50 pounds of fat to lose to get into the "lean" percentages.

Well **** me hahaha. Thanks mate, better not to live in delusion I guess. Kind of painful to think I’ve been living like this, watching everything I eat for half a year and am still 30%+ body fat. But turning back is not an option obviously!

"Watching what you eat" isn't accurate. You need to buy a food scale and weigh/measure/log literally everything that goes into your mouth because anything else is just guessing at how many calories you are actually eating every day.

To be clear, I do log cals and weigh my food. The rate of loss is ok. Just a bit disheartening to still be so fat. But what’re you gonna do that’s life. Takes time to make improvements.

Pics on my profile; if anyone is able, I'd really love estimates so I can find out if there's a real difference or not. I just worry if what I'm doing isn't working since I feel I look exactly the same despite losing pounds and haven't actually lowered my bf% at all

28%+
However you do look a little smaller overall in the "after" picture than in the before.
Start recording your measurements when you weigh/photo yourself as it can help to determine progress.

Thank you! I have started to record measurements now so I hope it's just my mind playing tricks on me. When I compare the two I can't see a difference so it's nice to know someone can lol.
Also if I may ask, when you say "smaller", do you mean a little less muscular? Or a little less fat? I just wanted to make sure I'm doing this right haha. But I appreciate it!

Going through this right right now. So I’ll drop a couple words. PM me if you want to talk more.
I went from 200lbs to currently 163lbs. In my eyes I couldn’t tell the difference till I got to 180lbs. So
180vs 200lbs I can see difference.
Since 180, I’m now 163 and I still don’t see a difference. I know I’m getting stronger cuz I can lift more weight. and there are days when I feel leaner in the mornings. But during the day I feel the same old me. Even though people tell me I’ve lost weight. Some get concerned if I’m sick or something. Lol. Intake that as positive feedback cuz that means weightloss is happening.
You need to trust this and keep going. Keep dropping that weight and keep lifting weights, eat 1g per lb of body weight, 0.5g fat per lb and rest in carbs and follow a proven weight lifting program (Deload and reset as the program says).
There were days when I would feel real sluggish and body was screaming for food. I wouldn’t give it to the body. Listen to your body. If you feel real down for a day or so, eat two days at maintenance. You will feel like no, I’m full. Don’t need to eat all this. Trust me. Eat at maintenance for 1 or 2 days and go right back to your deficit. 1lb per week or so. If you need a couple days at maintenance every 10 days or so, that’ll be fine. I take 1 day personally every 7 days and I dropped 50 calories a day to make up for it.
Do not quit loosing weight cuz later you’ll regret it (I quit twice and went to maintenance once - that was the greatest waste of time. Once I went into a bulk. I wish I had just cut till 13% to 14% before going to bulk).
Goodluck!! If weight is coming off and your lifts are progressing or you can lift the same weight as last week/month, you’re on the right track.
Edit: I can see difference in your fat specially on the side moobs and slightly in the lower stomach. So it’s working :)

Thank you very much!! I would absolutely love to talk with you more because I'm very interested to hear what you have to say; especially about how I'm approaching this and seeing how you're doing this! I don't want to derail the thread any further though, but I can't seem to figure out how to send a PM on here :') any way you can send me one? Lol but thank you again!

What is my current bodyfat?
Do you see any improvement anywhere compared to my last pics? And where are the improvements?
I feel like I look the same (but I am lighter and stronger :))
How many more pounds to loose you think to get to 13% to 14%?
Some days I look lesser fat than others. Each pics is one a day over the last few days
My plan is to cut to 158lbs and then start a slow bulk gaining 2lbs a month for 7 to 8 months. That sounds fair or should
I switch to bulk now?

Thank you. I feel like I always have a hard time cutting down my body fat to where I want it to be. Ideally, I would like to be around 10% body fat or a little less, but I'm 6'2 and weigh 175 lb, and am not really looking to drop too much more weight at this point. At the same time, I feel like I still have too much fat to start a bulking cycle. I'm also going to be restricted to doing home workouts for a little while longer, obviously because of Covid.
