It looks near 20%, approximately. Could be a tiny bit more.

Thanks! I'm looking to hit 15% and then recomp. That means 17 lbs ish more to go, which doesn't seem so bad
Height: 5'11
Weight: 168
Age: 28
My lifts are a bit under where I would like them but I also have a little more body fat then ideal.
Could I get a body fat est. and a recommendation on whether to bulk or cut please and TY.

I want to change my body, I want to improve myself. I gained about 20 pounds of fat ever since this quarantine and I’m not feeling too great. I wanna get back to where I was and more, I’m 19 years old and looking to get ripped. I don’t have much muscle on my frame and I have hard times with food. I’m 6’0 and I weight 190lbs. Should I meal prep? If so how. Gyms just openers up in my area so I’m extra motivated to grind and eat properly. Thanks.

19-20% i think.
I'd suggest leaning out a little, but very slowly, because you want to keep making strength progress.

Hello I am 18 years old and I have never attended a gym because I lacked time and permission from my parents. I would like to know what my body fat percentage is and if possible an estimate of how would I look in terms of muscularity (I know I have small amounts of muscle due to my training experience but I would like to see approximations in order to determine if losing fat until I see my abdominals is worth for me) if I end up losing fat to the point of making my abs visible. Thanks for your replies!!

These posts are not for this thread so you might want to take it to general weight loss forum as you are going to get more feedback that way.
However, as far as weight loss I personally feel like 70ish%+ comes down to diet or CICO (calories in/calories out). Download MFP or any free calorie tracking app and start keeping yourself accountable to where, when, and what you eat and make changes from there. I think resistance training, walking, good sleep will go along way for you outside of your diet. Feel free to look at my bio pics I went from 255+ to around 200 over the past year so it is possible and really improves all aspects of your life.
Good luck brother.

Sup guys! I put some pics on my profile of both relaxed and flexed postures, and would greatly appreciate some bf% estimates. My best guess is ~18% currently, while the goal is to keep cutting down to 12%. That would put my goal weight at ~174.25lbs, does this sound about right? thanks!

Hard to say as you're blocking most of your mid-section, but I'd say around 16% or so. I can see some separation in the abs/obliques. A straight-on shot would be helpful.

Yeah I'd say 15-16% is reasonable. You have a very good structure which does make you look leaner.

thanks man, also how long do you think it would take me to go to %10? and what body fat are you in that profile picture?

Well it comes down to the math dude...
Just use the estimate to find your lean mass and fat mass, then calculate how much total fat you’d have at 10% and figure the weekly fat loss you’d need in order to get there. I don’t know your body weight so I can’t really say.
In my avi im probably 9-10%... buts it’s just an estimate
Would love to get an estimation

Idk if this lighting is any better, but flexed and not flexed.
Agreed with Adam, ~13%
Really? I must have a poor conception of bf%s, since I was guessing like 20%.

It's a bit hard to tell with only looking at front torso relaxed and flexed, so I'm assuming your back, sides, and legs are similar to your torso and aren't carrying disproportional levels of fat.
For reference, this is me at ~13% BF
Unflexed Front

Unflexed Side

Flexed Front

Flexed Side
Idk if this lighting is any better, but flexed and not flexed.
That does help.
In that lightning it looks closer to 15% to me
It’s hard to say tho because your stomach looks much different when flexing.
Some people can be very lean but when relaxed you see almost zero abs at all, then they flex and BOOM you can see they’re leaner than you thought

Yeah that’s about 12-13% to my eyes
Hi all,
My scale weight is staying mostly unchanged lately, but I feel like I am still getting leaner. May I please have an update to my BF % so I can tell if I’m just going crazy? And apologies about the back photo. It’s really hard to get a proper pic of my back by myself so it is a bit stretched, which I know makes BF appear lower :(

Thanks for the reply. So weight staying constant, BF increasing. Now I need to figure out how to counter that. I appreciate the estimate.

How r u figuring your BF is increasing?
All BF figures are just estimates... what r u comparing my numbers to anyway?
If you want someone to assess if the % is rising, then post comparison pictures with the same lightning and pose
How r u figuring your BF is increasing?

The last estimate you gave me, 2 or 3 mos ago, was lower. I’m not arguing with you.... no need to get defensive. I’m simply making the observation that I must be doing something wrong.
And my last pics were at the same time of day in the same room.
I switched from a full body routine to PHUL 4 day split about 2 months ago. Maybe I need to go back to full body. Perhaps that switch caused me to lose lean mass. But that’s just getting deeper into my thought process.
