Can someone estimate my bf %? I'm 5'10" 155 lbs, pics are on bodyspace, thanks.
About 13%
5’9, 127 LB, skinny-fat. Will be bulking soon.
i67(dot)tinypic(dot)com/o5dufo(dot)jpg
About 14% I'd say more skinny than skinny fat. Bulking is the right call.
I went on a vacation and ate like 20lbs of food for a week ( didnt gain any weight though ) but I def lost definition, but anyway I am back in gym tonight.
150lbs 5'8. What is my body fat roughly? My abs look kind of visible in mirror/shadowing but in reality, I dont have any. you can see the non definition pic when I am flexing my latts ( I think im flexing them ) I have been killing weighted pull ups. but I dont know if it looks like it.
what is my current body fat roughly? Should I cut or bulk, my mass looking alright or lacking? 6 months steady now
I have NO idea why my pics are rotated. they are not on my phone/pc til I load them. sorry.
Looks about 15% You could do either depending on which you want to focus on first. I'd probably lean bulk until March and then cut until June.

25-27%
25% is about what I was expecting. What do you think it is possible to get to by the end of this year? Would 17/18% be achievable?
-
25% is about what I was expecting. What do you think it is possible to get to by the end of this year? Would 17/18% be achievable?
Sure. You'd need to lose about 1.5 week, so I'd start with a 750 calorie deficit and take off 100 calories each time you lose 10lbs.

Yes 25%. Sure you can do it. Eat what ever calories maintains 2lbs loss a week. Adjust calories to meet that goal. Lift heavy. Reduce loss to 1.5lbs after a month or when 8lbs lighter

Confused Beginner
I'm 21 years old 5'11" and 164 lbs. I really don't know my body fat % specially since I consider myself skinny fat. Lately I've been on this constant dilema of bulking or cutting, my ultimate goal has always been able to see my abs, I've been lifting for a year and a half now and currently I've been on a calorie deficit. Right now I'm stuck in deciding wether I should start lean bulking to gain more muscle mass, because I'm sick of losing weight and not seeing my abs.
Any help will be appreciated! :)

Around 15-16%, maybe slightly less, as the lighting isn't optimal IMO.
I understand the obsession with ABBBZZZZZ, but it's not a good goal unless you've already consistently trained in the past (without a deficit).
See my signature. I went to 140 lbs at 6 feet tall, and although I was extremely vascular and lean, my abs were barely visible simply due to lack of developed ab muscles.
At this point you could cut or bulk, neither choice would be "wrong", but if you want to cut further, don't over do it. Aim for another five to ten pounds, no more.
When you finish your cut, read this regarding how to best transition to a bulk: https://bodyrecomposition.com/fat-loss/transition-phase-between-dieting-gaining.html/
And choose a proven routine like Fierce 5, Allpro, etc.
Good luck. :)

At that weight you don't need to worry about BF%, just keep losing that fat properly. :)
I'd say 35-40%. Hard to say.
Keep setting short term goals. Aim for 220 lbs, then 200, then 190, etc.
Worry about BF% when you reach 180-190 lbs.
Keep reading the forum, as there are plenty of stories/threads to help you stay motivated.

Starting a new diet and lifting regimen and just got a DEXA scan so I can track progress - curious how close your estimates would be compared to the scan results. Will let you know the scan results after seeing a few guesses :)

When I started 6 months ago I was considered obese at 260 lbs and I had my body fat % measured at 33%. I have low testosterone and have been taking testosterone for a year with a slight improvement but still low (I think that contributes to the fat saddle bags). I have another reading in 1 month time and was curious what it would be.
My photos were taken after taking a shower, and its very hot, so apologies for the sweaty look. I have also included a pic I took 2 months ago after a work out (hence a bit of a pump) as I feel I have seriously plateaued (perhaps even gone backwards).
I work regularly with a personal trainer and have been modifying my work outs. At the start I was doing high reps, now my trainer has me doing lower reps and more sets at much heavier weight. All my lifting amounts have shot through the roof (e.g. I could only bench 90lbs to start, I now bench 265 lbs, I was lucky if I could bust out 10 push ups, now I do 300 per session, my pull ups are still terrible).
I have followed a diet religiously the whole time, with 1 cheat meal per week consisting of:
breakfast - 3 scrambled eggs, 4 cloves of garlic, red onion
coffee
preworkout formula
workout
2 scoops of myprotein instant oats with 1 scoop protein
1 protein bar as snack
lunch wholewheat sandwhich with turkey, cheese, and egg or fish with rice.
coffee
1 protein shake
dinner - fish with broc**** and carrot
1 protein shake
This diet was formulated by a dietician at the start with the goal of losing weight (they knew it was incorporated with weights). It has not been revised the entire time.
I do weights 4 days a week, with 1 interval cardio session (1 hour) splitting it up, with 2 rest days. I have only recently started a second cardio session, but its only been 4 weeks, so not sure it can be considered.
I am happy with my progress, still highly motivated and committed, but feel I am hitting a wall. Any advice, feedback greatly appreciated (at the least surely my body fat % has dropped!!)

Estimated bf%
Hello
I’m 19 years old
Height: 5’11
Weight : 172lbs
Pictures in my profiles
I consider miself skinny fat , I’ve been doing cardio and lifting for 4-5 month I already lost 8 pounds most of them being fat I think. For the diet , I don’t follow one in particular except that i’m in deficit I just try to stack up vitamin D and eat 2 carrots a day for my skin , and I’m currently cutting , it’s difficult because I’m in Vet school so lately I haven’t find the time to go to the gym as it opens at 8h30 and close at midnight anyway I tried to go but I don’t have enough time except the weekends so atm I’m only working with a set of adjustable dumbbells.
Thanks in advance for your replies

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a BF% estimate please, I haven't done any tests before so I can't really give any actual guideline on to what it might be. I've posted some stats below and I have pictures on my BodySpace profile.
Age: 22
Height: 6′4″ - 193 cm
Weight: 121 kg - 266 lbs
BMI: 32.4
Thank you very much.

Hey James, thanks a lot for your quick input. Would you still say around 14/15% bf if I said that I was flexing/contracting muscles in the pictures, so I was not totally relaxed? Does it make a difference?
