I'd say slightly below 30%, but you have lots of muscle underneath and will look great leaning out.

Thanks! I used to be ~215 @12-15%. I never stopped going to the gym but I was drinking and eating too much. Back on the grind. How long do you think it would take to be ~230lbs at 15% bf? I value my muscle mass so I don't want to sacrifice a bunch of muscle just to make the number on the scale lower. Thanks!

Did you see the link? Not just pics on bodyspace or pfp

Pretty hard to address. I'll leave it to someone else more experienced to help you out.
Reason being that at your height, being 12% @ 215 lbs seems very unlikely, and the same goes for 15% @ 230 lbs. It is also difficult to estimate how much someone will weigh at a certain bf %, due to water weight and loss of lean mass. All you need to do at this point is decide whether to cut, bulk, or maintain. Trying to figure out a final goal weight etc., is very difficult and more or less pointless.
Tucane or Tigerzen can probably provide better insight.
Good luck.
Approx 32%
Haha... ouch. Intellectually, it's consistent with my final goal, but hearing it is another matter.
Back on veg and plain meat for me.

From your current ≈30%BF and ≈250lbs it's reasonable for you to be 220-230lbs @20%BF and subsequently 200-210lbs at 12%BF and finally 190 lbs in competition shape aka 5%BF. This is based on your height, assuming you are at genetic maximum in terms of muscle (FFMI 25), while obviously assuming you are a lifetime natural athlete.
It might take around 6 months to 15%BF, with a consistent approach and a chronic deficit.

Yup, 15%BF seems about right, top-torso is leaner (common), while you do have some more to lose from the lower parts... like abdomen.

I'd say ≈30%BF and I agree on the approximated target weight of 175lbs @12%BF. You will lose some lean mass (waterweight) dieting down, it's inevitable. This is also why mileages vary (and forecasts suck), some people lose less water, some more... too many decisive factors.
Looks like chest fat, but you really should see a doctor if you suspect gyno.

Looks like you lost 1.5%BF or so... which also is normal for a months progress. Note that you lose fat around organs (visceral fat) at this point, which is why you look the same but smaller.
I'd say 23-24%BF.

Don't think too much:-). Take my advice. Cut down to ≈12% first, then bulk slowly (300 cals surplus) when you feel ready.

I went to a local place to get my body fat% taken and the results were all over the place. 1 test came back at 14% and the other came back at 16%, then they told me that they could be off by 3% and the numbers are anywhere from 11%-18%. So I just wanted to see what you guys thought my body fat% could be around.

False, even the best of bf%-scales aren't accurate enough to be trusted. As a matter of fact, there is currently nothing publicly available that is good enough.
Just for info's sake.

Estimation Request
Hi Tucane,
I'm a 26 year old female. I have dropped over 90 pounds earlier and the weight has been constant for more than a year now, seems like the loose skin hasn't gone anyway.
Can you please analyze my BF% in the two pictures. Since they're just a month apart (I was eating junk the past month) it confuses me even more, so I'd really appreciate your measurements. Feel free to also comment on my composition and any programs you'd recommend. Thanks a lot for your help in advance!

Hello,
I was unhappy with my former weight maxes and decided to bulk up.
Even though my lifts improved a little bit , I think I did a great disservice to my appearance. Unfortunately, I seem to store most fat in the belly area.
My stats:
*5,9 "
*184 lbs
*Roughly two years of consistent training
* BF: ?

Keep doing cardio if you like. You might need more calories though, so as always, let your scaleweight average guide you.

Awesome progress!
One doesn't lose/gain much in terms of BF% in a month. What normally happens when eating "junk" aka salty carbs... is temporary water retention, which can cause swings in scaleweight of up to ≈10lbs. Also waterweight tends to fill out loose skin.
Looks like you are in between 22-24%BF.

Looks like you have enough muscle imo, aim for 12%, then reassess.
