have i reached 20% bf? what % do you think i am?
really getting frustrated with lack of progress, wondering if maybe it's just genetics, i notice some people are able to change shape from fat to lean to fat to whatever they want and i have schizophrenia and whenver i put myself in a calorie deficit, even the slightest bit, my symptoms go full speed, so maybe better to be fat than end up in jail.
wondering if i should work on recomp?
also i feel like in photos i look a lot more fat than in the mirror.

You're over 25% and closer to 30%
Recomping is not going to do much good. You have a lot of fat to lose.

Not sure if just plain skinny is good or bad lol. My goal weight for losing weight is 137 pounds, at the point I was going to decide if I wanted to try losing more weight or start putting on muscle. I was kind of hoping I could get some visible abs before bulking, but I'm afraid that just might not be possible with my current amount of lean body mass. I have a bet with this girl on who can get abs first. Will just have to see what I look like at 137 pounds.
That being said then, do you think 137 would be a good point to consider lean bulking?
Sorry if I'm asking too many questions, just trying to find a good realistic target weight.
-
You won't know for sure until you get there. 137 might be a fine place to start bulking. You may want to cut a bit more.

16-18% If you're new to lifting, you might build some muscle while losing fat. I'd eat at a small deficit and aim to lose 1lb/week for the next 8-12 weeks. Then, start lean bulking.

It's been about 3-4 weeks since I've been cutting. Top 2 abs are coming in. Any update to bf % estimate and approximately how long to see the middle ones to start coming in and then the lower abs? I'm thinking maybe 5-10 lbs ?? Been hitting the cardio daily and also weights to maintain mass.

My current routine has been
Monday - Forearms, Triceps & Biceps
Tuesday - Abs & Chest
Wednesday - Legs, Shoulders & Back
Thursday - Abs & Chest
Friday - Forearms, Triceps & Biceps
Saturday - Legs, Shoulders & Back
Sunday - RestÂ
Also since I can't stand sitting around all day I go outside and walk or play basketball. End day I usually end up with 10-12k steps
Eating has been pretty much a protein shake before workout & throughout the day mostly high protein food.

Your diet sounds bad. You should be eating a balanced diet, not just a lot of protein. Also, that split is a mess. You'd be much better off with an established program like Candito Linear or Fierce 5.
I don't know how I missed that you were 15. I wouldn't cut. You should be able to build muscle fairly well at this age and cutting would detract from that.
-
If anybody could give me an estimate, that'd be cool. Scale says around 16%, I did Jackson-Pollock 3-point and got 13.9 (dunno if I got good enough pinches, but it's what I got).

Any good tips on how I should split my workouts? All are usually done with dumbbells & bodyweight. I still want to get Chest/Abs & Arms in at least twice a week if possible. I could remove legs/shoulders/back to only one day because I'm not too worried about getting them built fast. Also I'm sorry for the multiple replies, I'm sure you have better things to do

Between 6'1-6'2 and right at 220. If I can get the middle ones showing I may be good as the bottom abs is where I tend to carry most of the weight. Would you say 14-15% be able to see atleast the middle ones?

You should train everything twice a week. I'd start with an upper/lower split. Prioritize compound movements, e.g. db bench, rows, pullups, lunges, rdls, etc.

Hello Guys,
I just started my keto journey and here's what I've got so far :
Age : 28
Weight : 211 pounds
Height : 5.71 feet (174cm)
After about 8 months of serious weightlifting (5x5 program) I can tell my body looks leaner even though my weight hasn't dropped much.
My Current and Before pictures are in Bodyspace.
Am I correct in assuming I am leaner than 2 years ago ? What is my current bf ? (I estimated 26% with a skinfold caliper)
Thank you !

Thanks partyrocker -- 14-15% is about 5 - 10 pounds away and 10-12 probably closer to 20? Does that seem like an accurate estimate? And do you think once I get there should try to bulk some or just hold? Still want to maintain size.
-
Looking for an estimate as well. On the calipers, I'm around 10%, but I would guess I'm a bit higher than that.
I'm going more for the lean athletic look, so my focus for now is on shedding the last bit of fat to get the abs showing. Eventually, I do want to lean bulk and put on a bit of muscle too.
It's been a bit frustrating to be be consistently losing body fat, but still have that bulge in the lower an area that won't go away. I am hoping it is just stubborn fat, but it might be some loose skin issues too. It also may be a posture issue as well. Pics are in the profile and would appreciate opinions, thanks.

You can start now. I would eat at maintenance for about a week or so and then start adding calories, so you gain about 2lbs/month
