Hi guys, long time lurker first time poster.
Just wondering would anyone have a rough idea of my body fat percentage?
I'm roughly around 12 stone 1lbs/2lbs and 5 ft 10.
I've a long way to go before I can even think about being ripped, but hoping to start my new diet to shred some fat around the hips, chest and waist etc and hopefully some day I'll get down to under 10 percent
Thanks in advance!
13-14% near enough.

13-14%. You should be gaining muscle not cutting. Gain more muscle and you will stretch the fat out more so less visible love handles.

My scale says im 20 %bodyfat, can you guys verify this? Im also apparently 42%muscle. Look at my progress photo. I cant post links apparently.

Thanks mate - how/why would gaining muscle 'stretch the fat out'?
Body fat estimate please
Pics in body space.
A little detail.
Back double bicep Pic is flexed but no pump.
The other back Pic is after exercise
Leg Pic is my bad attempt to flex
And front Pic is first thing in the morning. I don't even know how to flex abs lol
I kept taking front pics thinking I need to lose fat when someone in locker room told me I am shredded at the back and then I took two pics you can see. Obviously core is under developed. In fact whole front side is under developed compared to back
Looking for an estimate. INBODY shows 7.5 to 8.6 percent depending upon whether I had a refeed last day or not.
Height 185 cm. Bw 77kg.
Specially looking forward to @hardyboysare opinion
Thanks mate - how/why would gaining muscle 'stretch the fat out'?
By increase lean body mass this will cause more muscle volume the same way as having more fat stretches out your skin. If you have more lean body mass in your core through lifting heavier and increasing weight volume (especially on major compound lifts such as squats and deadlifts with some direct ab work) over time your core will become bigger because of muscle therefore the fat over the top will become spread out more.
The best solution for most so called 'skinny fat' people is building muscle and weight training.

To start off with the scales are terrible for estimating bf% and lean body mass so don't bother with them IMO. Tad hard to tell as your Avi pic is too small for clear view but 14-15% seems about right. Post a pic on your bodyspace for a better estimate with weight and height.

I would have you at 12-13%. You do seem to hold the majority of your fat on your stomach which is very common in men. Although you aren't 7-8.5% at that point nearly anyone will have a clear six pack as long as you do some weight lifting. Inbody scanners are pretty bad and usually work through passing a small current into your body and basically measure the water content in cells (badly usually) so having low carbs will effect the score massively. You do look lean so the choice of what you do is up to you depends on your goals.
https://www.scienceforsport.com/bioelectrical-impedance-analysis-bia/ - massive error ratings.
Thank you. I will take 12 percent. Run deficit til end of month and then slow bulk. Abs are funny for me. I Dont know how to flex. Some days I can see a full six pack other days I cannot. My starting point was 30 percent on inbody 9 months back and I know it isn't accurate hence asked your opinion. Other than that my face has sunk in and I look sick, and weight loss is stalled at 1900 cals so I think enough is enough. Wanted to take less than 15 percent nod from your side to transition to maintainance and then bulk 😊

Yes you are lower then 15% definitely. I would agree that lean bulking would be your best option, well done on the weight loss.

I wouldn't put yourself down we all have times in our lives when we are a bit bigger then we like. The good thing for you is that you do have some solid lean body mass as it is noticeable even at a higher bf% so you hold your weight well. I have you around 27-28%. Just keep a decent calorie deficit whilst weight training (and some extra cardio if you like) aiming to lose about 1-1.5% of body weight in lbs per week until you become leaner.

76 kgs (167.5 pounds)
180 cm - 181 cm (5'9)
Would appreciate some updated body fat estimates as I am trying to get down to 12% BF. Reckon I need to lose another 3-4 kgs (6-8 pounds). In particular, I still have some fat to lose on my arms, the lat area, lower back and the abdominal area to get that lean look.
I have lost around 13 pounds since I began my cut back in January, but I still don't see any definition on my arms. Guess I just have to go on and get my BF% lower to see some striation/definiton on the arms and get that nice cut between arms and delts?

14% nearly 13%. You can see the difference is coming even from 9 days ago.

Although the change is small you can see a bit of a difference mainly in your core outline and your serratus anterior is becoming more defined.
So yep around 72kg bracket will probably have you close (depends on your water weight and glycogen stores).

Hi! Please estimate my body fat :D
Also, needed some advice on whether my abs are underdeveloped or if I just need to lose fat. I can feel my upper abs underneath the fat, but I can't feel lower abs at all! It's like they're not even there. Should I start working out lower abs specifically so I can cut to them later?
And would it be possible to maintain my current bf and still hypertrophy lower abs enough so that they pop out? I don't need abs 24/7, I just want them when I flex/stand in good lighting.

Around 17%. What you do is really up to you. You could cut a bit more then lean bulk. Well the only way you can really keep your bf% the same would be to recomp which can work but is generally slower and some people find it more difficult then simply cutting and bulking. I wouldn't bother cutting to lower abs as on most people that is around 10% or lower if you get some abs showing that would generally be regarded by most as very lean.

Hi everyone,
I'm in the middle of my cutting and I want to have an estimate of my body fat. I think I am around 12%.
The majority of my fat is on the lower abs and lower chest.
Next week I plan to eat at maintenance and then 3 more weeks until finish my cut.

Also weight train choose a decent program (see workout section for advice)
As for medicines no idea what you are going on about but no tablet will make you lose fat, less calories do that.
Height 5’9
Weight 165
Could anyone estimate my body fat percentage? Very hard to tell with all my loose skin, just went from 220 - 165, plan to cut to 160 then lean bulk, been working out for the past 4 months, 4-6 days a week, worked out 2 years prior before i put on all the weight, I have a bicep vein currently, can see the outline of my abs, and have striations in my shoulders when flexing or working out, i’m guessing I just don’t have enough LMB currently. Thanks man. Guess I just have to continue dieting and working hard. 3-4 kg more should get me there.
Btw, how often would you recommend to reduce calories (or increase exercise) during a cut? I am on week 14 right now, and did only reduce calories from 2000 to 1900 kcals around week 8. It seems that I am still losing weight on this amount of calories, so I'm not thinking to reduce my calories for now. It's just confusing me that sometimes you hear people reducing cals by 4-500 cals from the start to the end of a cut.
Can I get an estimate? All taken in the morning, first 2 relaxed and second 2 flexed. I'm 5'9 and 140 lbs. Conflicted cause I just started bulking 2 months ago and still seeing newbie gains, but also wanna look shredded for beach season :P Thanks!

Nope don't bother dropping calories if you are still losing weight, best to eat as many calories that keep you losing weight. Generally some people need to reduce calories more as their NEAT drops quickly during cutting I guess yours is more resistant (some people are). Also some people drop 100 calories for every 10lbs they lose this again is to stop stalls but as you are still losing weight really no need.
