I'll post a pic of when I started and one from about a week ago since that is the most recent one I have. I have some loose skin. Not sure if the old pics would help or not. If the pics don't work, I have them on my profile.

How much time between those pictures? I'm not an expert by any means, but you've been working hard...Good Job! I wouldn't think you're 20...maybe upper teens. What are your goals?

In sept. it'll make it 2 years exact. The first year though, I didn't really do any weight lifting and I thought that low carb was the answer. I didn't know chit about nutrition. Once it started to get into about a year or so, I started to weight lift. Thanks! I've been trying. My goals weight wise were to get down to 160, but since my bf being a bit higher, I'll prbly cut down to either 155 or 150, depending on how I look in the mirror.

Hey,
I'm a guy who weighs 140 lbs and my height is 5'8".
I did a body fat caliper test and it resulted as 14.3% body fat (15% the second time). I did the 3 site method.
The problem is I very much doubt that number. In my opinion I'm way higher than 15%, but I'm new to the bodybuilding world, so I need assistance determining my body fat percentage.
I attached my most recent pictures. Thanks for the help.

Would love some guesses. Just added a photo to my progress photos with relaxed front, side and back view.
5'3 and 130 pounds.

Thanks man appreciate it.

No way, I'm 6ft and 82kg also...
Your abdomen/upper body looks incredibly similar to mine - Fairly lean but a bit of fat on lower stomach / sides. I'm guessing you're somewhere around 17-19%.
Slightly off topic but I wonder if you have the same problem as me. Stood up I look fine but, sat down, my lower stomach fat comes together and looks kinda unappealing.

Yes haha I do have that problem aswell kinda but I think it's just because there's still fat there. 3 months ago I was 98kg so lost a lot of Weight and plan to go down to around 76-77. I never work out just play football sometimes.

Hi, looking for estimates on my bf % please. I've been actively losing weight for around 8 months. Started out in September at 240 pounds and I'm now down to 160 as of today. I'm 5'10 and 19.
Still have a bit of fat around stomach area but I can see top 2 abs in the mirror if the lighting is good (if this makes any difference lol).
Would you recommend I continue losing weight until around 140/145 or start a bulk now? Thankyou
Sorry low posts so had to miss the h out of link.

I started lifting 6 months ago. I did lift in high school and tend to put on muscle easily and consider myself a mesomorph. I get Inbody body scans done at my gym, you step on the machine and grab the handles ect. I went from 13.3% BF to 8% on a 6 week shred, up to 9,6% in a 12 week hypertrophy. The past six weeks I have been in a roughly 500 cal deficit, lifting heavy the 3 big lifts, maintaining my strength, and dropped from 186lbs to 181 pounds resulting in an "apparent" 7% current BF. I find it hard to believe, my abs aren't defined like I feel 7% would be, but maybe they just aren't developed enough? I honestly can't decide if I should keep cutting before going into a surplus or start now. Thank you for any feedback!
There's also a pic of when I was about 230 pounds last year for fun.

I've been away from the gym for like 2-3 years. Eating anything/everything and went from good shape 150lbs to bad shape 150lbs. Guide me please some small advice
I have been 150 pounds for 10 years, but i've lost a lot of mass. I am weak as a child. I just started lifting this week and jogging 2 miles. What is my body fat at the moment? I have saddle bags. you can see them forward on. Also, should I be cutting or bulking? Or just eating at a deficit and lifting/jogging anyway? I would like to get back in my prime, in the dog tag photo i am still 150lbs but I had no fat, and I was able to rep 225. I literally am lifting 8x145 tonight bench, and 8x145 squats. Thats how bad I am off. Its just sad. I've slacked for many years... Not sure how long it'll take to cut the fat and tone up.
It'll come back I hope.
Whats my fat and any suggestions at the same time? I am 5'8 150lbs currently, and I was 150lbs in the dog tag photo 7 years ago as well.

Couldn't see the first picture. Looked around 16% in the second picture. I probably wouldn't cut anymore. You're not fat, and you don't appear to have anything to cut down to. Instead, I would lean bulk for 6 months or so and then cut.

Those handheld machines are not reliable at all. You look to be more like 12-13% bf to me. You could go either way. In the future, though, I would bulk for longer cycles. 12 weeks isn't a lot of time to build muscle. Instead, I would bulk for 6 months (probably at a slower rate to minimize fat gains) and then cut for 8-12 weeks before bulking again.

I'm guessing 8%. Life is miserable btw. I just entered all my goal info for the profile and it said I am ~4% BF. I feel kinda dead but not that much so.

Looks like 17-18%. I would recomp/cut slightly, e.g. aim for 2-4lbs weight loss per month. You should be lean enough for a bulk in a few months.

I think you're right. I would cut, but you don't have much room before you're underweight. I would lose 10lbs, slowly bulk for 6 months and then cut again. You'll have to repeat this process a few times.

For the same reasons why a 5'9" professional bodybuilder can be 7% bf @ 245 pounds, but a sedentary 5'9" person can be 30% bf @ 190 pounds.

Well ideally a good idea of what my bf is.... Tthats what the sub is for, I can then use that to see how much progress I've made and gauge how long I potentially need to keep cutting before reaching my goal.

Since you're returning to lifting (vs. being a new lifter), it shouldn't be that hard for you. You should be back to form in a few months, IME.

Hey, everyone! To make a really long story short, I have completely changed my life. Between January 2016 and yesterday afternoon, I have lost nearly 102 pounds! I went from 300.4 to 198.6 in the span of 18 months. I did this entire lifestyle change on my own, and received a lot of misinformation along the way; as a result, strength training only recently (as of May 2017) became part of my daily regiment. I was focused so much on getting down to a "healthy" BMI number that I completely ignored what my BF% was.
What would you all estimate my BF% to be? I am 6'2", 198.6 pounds. Also, do you think that I could potentially lose this excess fat by next summer? Thank you in advance for the information!
EDIT: I'm not sure why that first picture is turned sideways! I certainly didn't take it that way.

Probably about 10%. You need more muscle to get better definition. I'd lean bulk for the next year at a minimum (maybe 18 months).

I'd say 30%. You're just eating too much. Hit the weights hard and cut at least 30lbs. Then you'll be in a much better position to put on more muscle.

Hi
i've been cutting for 2 months now.
At first i was doing keto in a bigger deficit and right now i am maintaining my weight at around 2500cal/per day eating mostly fats and protein (and a lot of veggies) and carbs ONLY AFTER weight training.
My plan is to maintain this for a couple of months (maybe shreed down just a little bit with clen in a month or so,but will see) and then go on a lean bulk.
What do u guys think about bf,please opinion on this..thanks
BTW i am 177cm/75kg on this pic
