I think I am closer to 20 than to 30 I can see like 23-25 but maybe I am too optimistic.
I think you're being too optimistic, and this is exactly why this forum exists because people are generally not great judges of their own bodyfat percentage. I'm usually on the higher side of those who usually estimate on this thread. But at the end of the day what difference does it really make? You still have a lot of fat to lose, so its really irrelevant if the number is 23 or 25 or 27.
Hey! If someone could be me an estimate, that'd be great. Thank you! 125 lbs at 5'6".
Also, what should I do to get rid of that excess fat still on my belly? I have been recommended to now start bulking in the past, but want a final consensus before pulling the switch next week. Thanks!
You're around 20%, its always a judgement call with the smaller guys who are carrying most of their fat in their mid-section.
Age? Are you on a strength training program? If so, how long have you been lifting?

19 years old. Modified 5x5 program for the past 2 months because of home-gym restrictions (I only have access to upper body equipment). I have been lifting for more than a year now, but only took lifting seriously ~7 months ago, at which point I lost ~15 kilos of weight.
I know this sounds like a strange question, but what would you recommend I do for abs? I can see a slight outline of a 6-pack but it's not really prominent. I have never isolated abs, is that the reason why my abs are not prominent? I have a very rigid diet which has helped me lose ~1.5 lbs per week since the start. I get my protein from chicken, broccoli and other veggies. I make sure I get decent amount of healthy fats every day. I also eat veggies/fruits every day. On top of that, I take a fish-oil supplement for my diet. I used to incorporate a lot of cardio before but it's almost non-existent these days because of the immense pain on my feet.

That's true I just don't want to be "obese". I probably should lose like 20 pounds regardless. 27 just hurts. Probably good to hear a high number motivated me to eat even healthier.

Abs rather your entire core is the cherry on top to a well developed physique. It takes years of gaining strength and size from programs that are proven to work if followed.
Of course you want to isolate your core as well but there are no magic exercises.. my abs are thick and that's because of years of heavy lifting. I'd contribute most of my "abs" gains from squatting.
I do very little isolation work for core. My go to exercises are dragon flags front levers oblique twists weighted leg raises and ab wheel. Do maybe 10 to 20 sets max a week.
If you are strong and overloading your compound movements. Your arms your core your shoulders will grow. Then after years and years lifting you can specialize in areas that you might need extra work on.

At 125 lbs I probably wouldn't cut anymore, even at your currently BF level. I'm in the camp of "eating for gains", meaning if you can make progress on your lifts eating around maintenance then keep eating around maintenance and keep lifting until your progress begins to falter, then you can slowly raise calories. Abs are just a product of (1) size of the muscle and (2) bodyfat. Meaning your abs needs to be big enough to show through whatever level of bodyfat you are currently at. I've seen guys at 20% or more with abs, though its not super common unless that person has been training for a long, long time. Generally speaking most guys won't have abs over about 15%, with 12-13% BF being the more level when they start to show through.
Never chase abs though, especially when you're young and lack muscle mass (which you do), because doing so can just stall your overall progress. You're in your prime muscle building years and restricting calories now is only going to hurt you in the long run. Keep on your lifting program, and hopefully you can get back in the gym soon. Worry about cutting and looking for abs after a few years of consistent lifting.

22-23%. You should cut about 9kg.

Yeh I was leaning towards a cut. I originally went from 76 hit about 82ish and shot up in my lifts. Just hoping that I have enough mass underneath that when I cut I won't turn into a prune.
hey my stats! You are over 20% for sure. Need to lose at least 30lbs but I would aim to lose 20lb then lean bulk for at least 2 yrs then cut again IF you stick to the program.
-
Thanks for the recommendation! I am cutting now while trying not to loose too much muscle.
You are also 5'9" 175? What's you BF%? Any pics of you to aspire/inspire?
scroll up I posted a before and current. I was around 175lb when I started july 5th now I'm 162lb that video posted was over a week ago so even leaner now.
Be sure to lift heavy. I may have lost a little muscle during this cut but I assure you it was minimal.
My dips and chins went from 35lbs to 105lbs. I never lost any strength. All my training is the same. Just slightly less volume and more rest.
Biggest mistake you can make while cutting is not strength training

over 300g of carbs 161-163lb roughly, assuming 11% I feel like I was recently 12%, but veins on abs, and no flex abs and obliques
https://im gur.com/a/btsc4bC July 5th start of cut 172lb guessing 18% ish(was corrected by squid 15%)

You're in the mid 20's, 24-26%. You probably need to cut at least 25-30 lbs.

Yeah, I’d say about 10%.
You need to bulk up man. Do a clean bulk and get some lean muscle on that frame.

13-14% ish. Personally I think you're right in the sweet spot now as far as sustainability and having some flexibility with your diet. Sure if you stripped off another 10-12 lbs you would probably look pretty diced, however 10% and below really isn't really sustainable for anything other than short-term for most people.

12-13%, I would probably stop cutting, you need to spend about a year building up your physique to add some more muscle.
-
10%
You are skinny ripped a bit but bulking will make you look like a beast.
Yeah I would love to but I play about 3-4 hours of tennis a day, which is pretty high level cardio. Hard to eat enough calories right now to even maintain this weight.

I feel like I’m a bit higher in terms of my body fat around 14-15%.. I carry most of my fat in my lower back and stomach was thinking of cutting down to 79kgs just to see how I’d look eating 2k calories with very minimal cardio...

The upper back shot swayed me to lower my estimate a little, your lower back and stomach is probably just your bodies propensity as far as fat storage. Either way, doesn't matter, you still could do with overall more mass, and you're very likely to start losing LBM by getting leaner.

Throw some ice cream, milk, peanut butter, and whey into a blender and have a couple of those a day. ;)

5'7, 143 lbs, went from 180 to 143 in about six months
i think the before pics are 27-29% (at least that's what i've been saying in some of my posts)
after pics maybe 15%? anyone want to confirm? i want to be able to finally say i've hit 15% lol
i guess it's time to start gaining mass again, does this sound like a good plan?
1. eat in a 100 calorie deficit for a few weeks, see if i can squeeze out any gains (probably not but it's worth a shot)
2. increase calories by 200 (basically between maintenance and a very slight surplus), keep eating like that as long as i'm making progress
3. after milking my fat-free gains, finally transition to a 200-250 surplus
4. start cutting again in may (this is enough time to make decent progress, right?)
also, thoughts on my cut progress overall? yay or nay?

I think you were no higher than 21% in before pic
