Thanks for your help Paranoize. Would you agree on cutting a bit more before going into a bulk?
Yes definitely. You should be able to drop few percent very well.
This is hard, but what I think is this, you still have a lot of visceral fat. You look lean on the outside but I think you have some fat on the inside, I can see you have lost a lot of weight and I just guess that some fat on the inside goes late... How is your waist? Mine is about 81 cm, on the pictures it looks like the difference between upper body and lower body is small. Waist is often used to try to guess BF. Please give us measurements of the waist if you want to get a good guess.
Just measured my waist relaxed (around bellybutton) and it comes at 90cm

Hey.
Please can estimate my body fat my guess is 18%.
Typical skinny fat body not much muscle mass, but still want to bulk a little first maybe 12 weeks?
id rep but i can't. Most people grossly underestimate their bodyfat then again this thread is ESTIMATE request, about 1-2% difference is expected.
You obviously didn't read, I didn't underestimate, I was measured by someone who knows how to, and before I went down a lot my value was 15.6%. I actually have done a new caliper measure (seven points), and its very much under 17%. If you actually would have read my post and would have read up on the pages that describes the signs for BF % you would know that what I said in my post was factually correct.
My waist measurement, length, weight and neck measurement gives much lower estimates, calipers does, body signs does etc (lovehandels, signs of a development of abs defintion, ribs etc). All factual. I will just start posting replies in this thread, because I have read up a lot about signs of body fat etc, so I will develop my skills to estimate. But this was my last post about my own BF in this thread. I will measure my BF with calipers now, and no- that won't be perfect, but if I always do it the same way I will measure change. Three point caliper measure gives MUCH lower estimate in my case, because most of my fat is on the belly (and thats not part of that three point measure I did), the measure show my BF is very low on thigh and triceps (actually sign of high testosterone ). Seven points are of course more accurate and my higher fat on the belly should count!
See article:
"Testosterone influences body fat distribution
Hormone affects fat accumulation in lower body by changing cell function, Concordia study proves"
"Most adolescent boys, up to 70%,[6] have some breast development during puberty.[3] Newborn and adolescent males often experience temporary gynecomastia due to the influence of maternal hormones and hormonal changes during puberty, respectively."
Quote from Wiki about Gynecomastia. I think I did get some of that, my breasts did grow in puberty and did get swollen, it probably makes me look "fatter". That is my breasts have som mass that are neither fat or muscles. This problem is common among people who take anabola, seen fightclub and how the fat guy did get his bitch tits?
Im trying to learn and reason and being factual. Get on the bandwagon.

I would guess maximum 10% or a bit lower. You have good muscle development and that makes you look more rip per body %, that said I don't believe your over 10%. Great results.

I'd say a bit lower, maybe 16%. Yeah, lean bulk for sure. I'd aim for 2lbs/month for six months. Muscle building's a slow process, so you want to give yourself enough time to build before you cut.
Could u please rate me fix? I guess 10 to 11% 78kg@175cm.
10% looks about right to me.

About 15% in the most recent pic. Started off near 20%.

Bf% estimate please. Just trying to see how close I am to 10% cuz I'm getting so skinny and flat but haven't lost any strength. I gained a **** ton. Second pic is 200. Rest are 180. 4 months cut. I'm 6 feet No vascularity or abs in sight except for some on bicep with pump since the weight loss. I'd say 18-20% bf rn because I genetically carry all my fat in legs ASS hips and thighs giving me a bad body composition as a male. Hence the very wide hip bones. Plz don't recommend bulk. I will bulk after 10-12% is reached. I don't want to spin my wheels. Lifts 3x5. B/s/d. 165/205/285. Strongest I've ever been. Stronger than end of bulk 200 fat self

I estimated your neck as 1 feet 4.5 inches and 3 feet as your waist and 28 in age, the estimation in the calculation then is 18%, with those values. Since you look quite lean otherwise on the picture I would guesstimate your in 16-18%. Great job on the cut, and my tip to measure success without caliper is measuring the waist, objective measurement that indicates very well on BF. To measure change always measure the waist at the same place and in the same way.

Hi guys, been browing for a bit but just made an account so looking for a bf% estimate. I have a scale that shows it and says 27% which I would guess is accurate within a few %. Just started eating right and going to the gym 2 weeks ago.
188lbs - ~5"10 1/2
imgur . com/a/TwUmT
edit with a question: I've been trying to find out how many calories I should have a day and everything I use is giving me different numbers from ~1800 - 2.2k.. I'm looking to lose ~2lbs/wk and go to the gym 4 times a week with 30 minutes of cardio every time(treadmill mostly, sometimes stair master.) Any advice on this would be appreciated
another edit..: When I was thinking about calories, trying to find an accurate macros calculator seems hard as well.. I've been using myfitnesspal to log my food and it recommends 1860 calories and 50%carbs 30%fat 20% protein. Does that sound right or is there something else I should be going for?
-
Hi could anybody estimate what body fat % I am?
I have some Calipers I they give me a different read every time though but I'm guessing around 25%?

More protein dude. If you weigh 188lbs and want to eat 1900 kcal you need . at least 25% protein on that diet (For 200 grams of protein). 50% carbs and 15% fats seems to be the sweet spot (Or like 45% carbs 20% fats. just hit your 200 grams of protein a day)

I'd say 28-30%
Macro percentages don't matter. I would aim for 1g/lb protein goal weight and .4g/lb goal weight fat. Make the rest o fthe calories whatever you want

Calipers are better for when you're leaner. That angle is a bit strange- I think it's making your stomach look larger than it is. I'd guess around 22%. A side picture would help.

Hi, I've been exercising pretty religiously (both weights and cardio) and eating reasonably clean for almost 20 years now, but it's always been motivated by general health and wellness, I've never really had any real body comp, mass or strength goals, but I'm at the point where I'd like to put some more effort into my body with more a strategic plan.
With my history and current body comp, I think I'm starting from a pretty good place. I'm 5'9 and currently 144lbs and I clearly need to go through a bulking phase to make any progress, but I'd like to get an idea of where I'm starting from in terms of BF % so I can put a goal out there to beat it when I eventually cut back down. If I had to guess I'd say 12%? But I really don't know what I'm talking about... what would you guys estimate on this?

Don't cut. You have no mass.

Those scales are not reliable. They get thrown off by hydration and all kinds of stuff. I assumed you were relaxed in the photo. If you're flexed, then your bf% is a few points higher, but 22% is too high IMO.
I've been trying to lose weight now for about six weeks. Down from 245.6 to CW of 232.8. 6"0' 38.75-39.25 waist depending on the day. 16" bicep 47" chest. When I created my BodySpace profile it estimated 19% body fat based on my measurements but that seems low to me. I think I am more like 25% at this point, with a LW of about 175 and about 60 pounds of fat. Hoping to keep LW intact and get to 200- 205lbs lbs, 12-15% body fat. Thanks in advance for any help.
I'd say 13-14%. Reduce your calories. You don't need a particular diet plan, just make sure you're eating enough protein and dietary fat (.8g/lb and .4g/lb) respectively.
