Hey guys, I'm assuming I'm between 11-12% body fat (close to 11.5 ish) but I wanted other opinions. I'm 6 foot 160 lbs.
I also have very heavy striations in my shoulders and I have striations in my upper chest.
Stats (incase it matters): Squat 225 for reps/sets
I was able to PR and dumbbell chest press for 160 (80s in each arm) today for a set of 10 then set of 8
These were taken last week. 5'9 161.5 pounds. How much more should I cut ?
Stop cutting and start adding muscle. You're low in fat, that looks like loose skin which wont change from cutting.
-
6'1 190, 2 yr 2 month progress, 3 months into bulk. I'd guess 12-13%.

Also, critique if you want.

Me too or less, probably less. Some deep cuts in the legs there. I'd say 10% for whatever that is worth.

Hi all.
A quick guesstimate from you chaps in the know... I have been lifting on a deficit for the last 9 months after rotting for 7 or so years, 31kg lighter, significantly stronger than when I started. The last time I stood on one of those error prone machines it suggested about 32% - probably reasonable at the time. I feel I am about 28% now. (6"4' (193cm) 114kg)

Nice work, that's a big drop and good you got the gym work going again. What Tiger said makes sense to me, you are probably close enough at 25%+/- @ 250.

A more revealing pic would help.

What`s my bodyfat?
Hey guys,
My height is 180cm and weight 73kg and I'm 29 years. I'm not sure about my body fat, it actually can be loose skin :). Can you estimate my body fat based on my two photos?
Thanks!

Thanks for the input gents, it is appreciated. (Ejnar & Tigerzen)

@Al3xRo call it 10% Everybody has extra skin, if it wasn't slack we couldn't move.
Any other inputs? Just to make sure thankyou
Agree on the range. Looks about 22%BF.
Estimate on your post months ago was likely wrong due to the difficulty of estimating lean mass at higher bf%.

I assume you mean 'hollow cheeks' ~ 7-8%BF is common, but it may differ based on genetics.

With leaner legs, I'd say roughly 10%BF.

I'm 6'1 , atm 206 lbs and I'm trying to build some muscle so I'm eating a little bit over maintenance. Atm I've gained about 4lbs in 1 month or so ( which might be slightly too much )
I see myself with little muscle mass but I'm over 200 lbs . Is that fat ? What would you say is my percentage ? Thanks

The thing about you is that you don't look fat... you have even fat distribution (good genetic pattern) and are about 20%BF, partly due to lacking muscle. Try lowering calories by 200 and keep bulking.

Thanks for the answer . Atm I'm eating around 3000cal and gained 4lbs in 4 weeks or so. Too fast for someone at 20% I guess.

Hard to say, numbers are just numbers. But in general it's hard to mess up too much at half that rate.
Mass gaining has a lot to do with a long period of productive training. If you diet early because you fulked it tends to undercut some potential progress.
Others are so timid the spend time with perhaps less supportive nutritional environment.
What do you mean if I diet early ?
Gaining too fast (4lbs/month) leads to a shorter bulk period with less muscle gains and more fat, as in, you need to start cutting earlier...
Compared to a slower gain rate of 1-2lbs/month that gives a lengthier bulk with more muscle gains and less fat, postponing the need to cut.

In the 22-25%BF range. If you haven't, read up and pick a proven program (that suits you) from the workout programs section. Fierce 5 is solid, as an example.

Alright thanks . I'd have to lower my calorie intake then. I guess I am what is called skinny fat . Got to sort out the right macros now.

Body fat estimate
I am new here so don't really know how things work but the pics are in my profile
For background,
I am a mixed martial artist, a wrestler, a long distance runner, and a soccer player (amatuer of course). Never taken a protein shake or a supplement in my life. I Keep my training very tough, do hit 3-4 times a week( 20 minute sessions, 30 sec Sprint, 30 sec rest/walk) and run 3-5 miles a day and I do that along with my MMA training. All these body fat websites say I am a 7% but we all know these websites are very inaccurate.
Thank you guys

What's my bodyfat?
Please help! I'm in a cutting phase, and would like to get down to 10% bodyfat before starting a clean bulk. Unfortunately I'm not quite sure what my bodyfat really is. I know bod pod and dexa scans are the only true accurate methods, but I don't have access to any of those. I've used several different formulas and they are all quite different.
I'm 30 years old, 179 pounds and 6'1. According to the navy method(33.8") waist at navel) im 16.26%. Bodyfat scale 1 im 23% handheld scale in 13% calipers (jp3) im 10.26%. What do you guys visually estimate me to be? I do not have any viable abs at this point. Originally I was 205 and an estimated 24%.
Not enough post for pics. See profile pic
