Sorry to jump in - but your abs are not showing because you are 147lb and 5'11. Body fat is low for sure but you need to add some muscle :)
Any ideas on what I am? The BIA machines last year said 20%, but I was 6-8 lbs more then and have since focused more on weightlifying. (Right side of picture is current). I assume my BF has changed because my veins are much more visible. My cephalic veins are visible when I'm warm up to my shoulder. Want to get BIA again but I don't think they're 100% accurate.
Maybe relevant info:
5'4'', 129 lbs.
Bicep size: 9 in
Waist: 27.5 - 28in
Hip: 33in

Abs don't show due to lack of muscle. BF looks more like 11-12% to me but it doesn't matter tbh. You need more muscle to get good abs.

Bf may be closer to 20% And it doesn't really make sense to compare bf% with someone one is smaller than you are. You can have a higher bf% than another person but look better if you have more muscle. E.g. JJ Watts has visible abs even though his bf is north of 20% because his abs are so thick.

You're 18 - you should do a good full body routine (e.g. Fierce 5 novice) and eat a healthy, protein-rich diet for the next 2-3 years. Eat a small surplus, like 200-400 above maintenance, and you can keep adding muscle without gaining much fat for quite a long time. For 5'11 I'd say a good goal weight for a fit/muscular look would be around 175-185lb lean. For reference I'm 5'9, currently about 163lb and 12%. I'm fairly happy with my physique but I'd still like to add another 10lb of muscle. You're young, be patient and put the work in, a few years from now you'll be golden.

I'm 5'11'' currently weighing around 159lbs. My scales and calipers are giving me a body fat of around 11-12% just wanna know if this is accurate. Pics are in my bodyspace.
I have minimal muscle, my goal was was to cut first and then bulk. I was up around the 190lbs+ mark for the past 4 years (still with no muscle FML!) and i've decided its time to get in shape.

Dude, percentage number kinda seems moot, only know it for the sake of knowing it, because your look amazing with that physique. Very lean, healthy and strong. As a fellow 5'9" guy, with similar starting weight and lean mass, I'm inspired by your progress and results. Nice work.

Hey guys, would you'll estimate my body fat in the pic below? I'm 6'1" and approx. 184 lbs. and I've used calipers and they've calculated me at about 11%...maybe 12ish? I know DEXA scans tend to be a bit more unforgiving [which I haven't had one yet]. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. I also don't work out a lot right now but I don't really have any excess bf anywhere except my lower stomach and you can still see the outline of my abs pretty much all the time. If I had better muscle definition I would probably look pretty lean and impressive I think. I would personally estimate me at somewhere in the 10-12 range. Thanks!

Body fat calculators online tell me that I should be at about 6-9% body fat but I find this hard to believe given my muscle definition - or do I merely not have enough muscle mass? I'm wondering if I should now be trying to bulk up, which I was hesitant to do earlier until I had dropped my excess fat. Any advice is appreciated.

I'd say 10-12% You need more muscle mass to have good definition. I would lean bulk for the next 6-12 months

I don't see any pictures. If you want to lose your chest/stomach fat, then I would cut. You can afford to cut 10-20lbs at your weight.
