28yo 180cm (5'10) currently at 79.5kg (175lb)
1) What is my BF%?
2) Will I look good if I cut? (I feel like I should 100% cut for the summer)
3) Final question: until when should I cut? My last year's cut was terrible. I had much less muscle and went all out, lost mass and looked like ****.
Thanks

Help
Any estimates on my BF% would be really appreciated.
Tad embarrassing posting in here since I'm a total weed, however, I want to progress and I guess this is the place to start.
I'm 166cm (5'6) and only 126lbs, so pretty much bang on 9 st. I know this is very small (both height and weight lol). Basically, I was wondering how to progress from here.. I've never wanted to be HUGE (mostly because of my height - I feel I would end up looking like a box), but I would like to put some more muscle on.
Should I bulk or cut?
I've read numerous sources saying that I should get down to 10-12% BF before bulking and I don't think I am near that right now. Is 126lbs absolutely crazy to go on a cut?
So grateful for any guidance and advice.

bulk u are relitvely lean imo.

5'9" 176 lbs, what would you predict my bf% to be? I'm having trouble losing weight, it's remaining the same over weeks, but I think I'm getting leaner.

1) 17% about as you can still see some core.
2) You will look lean but not massive IMHO. You could cut to about 12% which would probably give you some abs but I can imagine full abs would require less then 10% bf which I don't advise.
3) Same as above. Make sure you follow a strong well established program and aim to increase lifts if possible whilst maintain good amount of protein.
Bonus:- You really aren't that fat so if you wanted to carry on bulking you could, however the choice is completely yours if you want leanness for summer then cut, if you can handle a bit of fat this summer keep bulking.

I wouldn't be embarrassed you are actually in a pretty good place you are lean and have some muscle (as you can see the outline of your abs). IMHO I thought you were heavier so you don't look small in pictures just lean. Anyway I would say 13% about, you should bulk slowly (aim for 2lbs a month). Forget the thought of cutting to 10% (or lower) that is for established trainees as for 12% well you are near enough there in my estimate.
Add more muscle whilst doing a progressive training program which increases strength and volume then you will see some good results.

About 12-13%. You do look leaner even though its only been a lb oddly. It does get harder the lower you go I am afraid. Just keep hitting the gym hard and it is possible you will look better with minimal weight loss. If you do want to lose more weight then drop calories/ increase activity. However you are pretty lean so bulking can't be far off.

Yeah, I think I'll be at 10% if I can ever get close to the elusive 170 lbs. I find it takes a ton of effort to decrease calories. I hit the gym 7 times and often feel overtrained when I eat to little :(

Hi all. Just after an estimate on my BF%. I'm Guessing about 22%.
I'm 88kg, 178cm -- 194lbs, 5'10"
Also, after looking at these pics, realized my posture is absolutely horrendous. Is my spine twisted? Any tips? or should I just go see a physiotherapist?
Pictures are on my bodyspace profile.
Thanks.

Most find going 10% pointless and I agree. You are lean and look good so it may be time to think about slowly building more muscle. If you gained a small amount of weight a month (something like 1.5-2lbs a month) whilst progressively getting stronger and increasing volume you should build mainly muscle. This may offer the best results.

Yep 21-22% is about right. I am not specialist so seeking a second opinion would be best. You may have a bit of Scoliosis however it is suggested to carry out weight training to strengthen the posterior chain which will help pull your posture correct. Likewise losing weight can help reduce impact on your spine. Like I said though getting medical opinion would be the best course of action, although most forms of training will overall help body composition.

Thanks so much for the detailed reply. I will do as suggested and start a slow bulk.

Thanks for the reply, very much appreciated.

Could anyone tell me my %? 5’7 160lbs. Photos in body space due to low post count.
-
I'm 28 (almost 29) years old
5'9/69cm
162.4lbs/73.7kg
I used to be heavier, the heaviest being 250lbs/113.4kg. So I think I have some loose skin around. But since I can't post links yet, my pictures are in my gallery.
Please and thank you.

Hi guys, I need a % estimate if possible?
According to a number of calculators i'm at about 16% but its all stuck to my damn waist.
My latest round of progress pics are in my gallery photos on Bodyspace for % rating.
Just for a bit of a back story, started dieting and fitness last January having swelled considerably to 254 and have worked hard to reign in my diet and get back on the right path following binge eating and drinking. Currently at 194 and have been cutting consistently for the last 3 or 4 months. Hoping to get down to about 10% BF for the summer and then look to put some muscle on.
All feedback and thoughts are appreciated :)

The same as last time you request as your weight has only increased by 5lbs.

18% around about. Wouldn't bother with 10% go for 13% (about) this will allow you to see some abs and look lean. Then lean bulk from there. Going to 10% is a long annoying road and likely you will lack muscle to do it (like most of us).
-
I posted a few weeks back and was estimated around 17%. I have done a 3 point caliper test today which put me at 14.16%. Any updates on my pictures sorry they're ****e hard to do it.
Background - lost 98lb want to cut to a point where I can lean bulk for a while to gain needed muscle.
Current stats - 146lb. 5 foot 5 inches, 28-30 inch waist in jeans. 27 years old.
Keep cutting to 140? Or will I look too skinny. Have posted before but in so unsure.

Your bf% hasn't really changed much as you have only lost 2lbs from my last estimate so the same at ~17%. I say cut a bit more 140lbs is fine and you will be near 15-16%. Then lean bulk. You won't look too skinny cutting 6lbs.

6'3" 197lbs in both pics down from 216lbs, looking to lean out so I can go on a 1yr+ lean bulk.
carb depleted and unflexed in pics
What is my bodyfat % and how much more down to go give or take for 10-12% ?

Hey can I get a guess based off my avi I’m 6’4 195 lbs and I think I’ve got weird genetics as far as holding bodyfat. I’m flexing abs in picture. Do any of you pros know how much lower I’ll have to drop my bf% to get my abs to show and have cuts? Any help would be greatly appreciated

Your probably mid 20s (23-27) depending on your legs and such. Hard to be accurate looking at one picture but thats my guess

~18% or so. No need to cut to 10% at your size. You will just look skinny and you will only be delaying your bulking for no really benefit. Slow bulk once you get near ~12ish and try and pack on muscle while maintaining sub 15%
