Ok so I don't have pictures of me now but anyone tell me what the body fat percentage would be on these pictures? I just want to know as this is the lightest I can ever remember being, and was about 160 lbs here at 6ft. I ask because this the weight I am trying to get back down to by the end of this year.
Very difficult to estimate visually-only from the photographs provided, given that you have definitely gained sufficient fat. How much did you gain during your three-months bulk? I would guess thirty pounds (1000 daily calorie surplus). If you trained at least decently and have sufficient rest (including sleep) helped by a diet as a beginner you were ought to make some gains (more difficult not to make any) - judge your strength gains by the lifting numbers. Having said that, definitely cut - would not expect MUCH definition but it certainly will set out a path for a better bulk next time (like it has been mentioned make it lean the next time - 250-500 maximum!).
Thanks.
I was at 176 pounds when i started my cut , now i am 190 pounds.
I tried a few weeks ago , for one week lowerd my carbs to 25% and my calories alot, i lost 6 pounds in water weight so i can estimate that for these 3 months i gained 8 pounds of somthing.
In my fitnes they have a scale called "INbody" and i did it every month im going to post a picture in my profile.
Also some more of mine so you can compare beter.
I take notes of my big lifts (bench ,deadlift squat, military press) and i am 4 times stronger theb when i started my bulk.
My 1RM deadlift is 250 pounds.
I just cant notice gains and im geting discouraged to work out. Thats why im asking here.
Please see the aditional photos
Hey. I would say about 9%. Plenty of muscle mass as well! What is your waist circumference, like 31 inches?
I would cut another 5 pounds at a slow deficit (250-500) for a couple of weeks to reach an ideal physique, together with flushing out the water with reduced carbohydrates and sodium.
Thanks for the input, I think this is what I’ll do. 👍 yes currently 31 in waist.

Circa 16-17%, little mass. Concentrate on pelvic tilt ASAP while not overweight.

Hello,
I'd love an estimate of my BF%.
Height: 5'11.5"
Weight: 130lbs
I'm a super skinny guy and spent all last winter working outside for 15 hours a day so I just ate whatever I could with no exercising to put on about 20lbs of fat to keep warm. Spoilers, it didn't help, haha. In May, I started doing bodyweight exercises again to lose that fat and now I'm back at the gym as of yesterday to put on some weight properly.
The pic with the toque is in the evening post-workout after a day of food and water. The pic without the toque is first thing in the morning. They also give an idea of how much lighting can change things too. Both flexing.
I've been tracking my progress with an Omron scale, Navy Estimate method, and Calipers. Now that I'm going to the gym I decided to get a Dexa scan for the heck of it and let's just say one of these 4 methods gave a wildly different result than the others, haha. Not just a little different, or fairly different, but wildly different. So I figured I'd post here to get yet another point of view.

Excuse my ignorance, but could you explain the pelvic tilt issue to me and how I'd fix it?

About 9%. Like you have noticed, little mass. Bulk to 12-13 at a 250-500 surplus.
Anyone, please.
About 9. Fix posture a little bit. Not sure if it is some loose skin though. Otherwise the mass is decent for that %.

Watch your posture to be straight all the time - sleeping, walking. Try to limit seating. Do some stretches, swim. Don't go too much over comfortable weight in the gym. Google "anterior/posterior pelvic tilt".

Circa 9-10%. You do have some abs - might be the lighting. You also seem slightly bloated/loose skin - how is your carbohydrates and salt consumption? Obesity explains the skin - putting mass will fill in.

I'm cutting, around 160 g carb per day (I know they're low but my metabolism sucks so I have to go to 1800 kcal to loose 0,5 kg/week). Probably I consume lots salt, I'll try to decrease it.
I'm resigned that loose skin is there and it'll not get off. I'm happy to see the first 4 abs but I'd like to go a bit deeper.

160 is a lot. I eat 50 and consider that not little. Little is like 25, and on a lower side is 50, max 75. Defo cut the salt - couple grams max (=0.5 g sodium).

Pictures in bodyspace (ones taken in bathroom), thanks in advanced:)
If the lighting is an issue ill retake them, pictures were taken relaxed as possible

No point in being as relaxed as possible, as we need to see the level of muscle development - just don't suck your stomach in while flexing and you are all good, as well as avoiding excessive pump/filters/lighting/etc.
You look 20% with some loose skin - ex-obese?
You are 20% at 96 kg - with a daily deficit of 750 calories expect to lose 0.75 kg per week; if you are lucky and exercise, eat and rest well you can expect to lose about 0.5 kg of fat per week. You will be 15% at about 86 kg (10 kg more).
Having said that, 15% is still too high - unless you are a competitive bodybuilder/power-lifter. There is no need for a man to be above 12-13%, with 10% being optimal.

Correct - Ive been classed as obese/clinicly obese two times before (dropped the weight twice), i have a feeling the pouch on the belly is lose skin (it does have the feel of loose skin) but wasnt there the first time i lost allot of weight, the reason for mentioning 15% is because its my main milestone, i do want to go lower, but ill get to see how much loose skin ill have more freely around 15%
20% is what i figured it to be around, ill take it with open arms progress wise, thanks man

I went on a vacation and ate like 20lbs of food for a week ( didnt gain any weight though ) but I def lost definition, but anyway I am back in gym tonight.
150lbs 5'8. What is my body fat roughly? My abs look kind of visible in mirror/shadowing but in reality, I dont have any. you can see the non definition pic when I am flexing my latts ( I think im flexing them ) I have been killing weighted pull ups. but I dont know if it looks like it.
what is my current body fat roughly? Should I cut or bulk, my mass looking alright or lacking? 6 months steady now
I have NO idea why my pics are rotated. they are not on my phone/pc til I load them. sorry.

Was hesitant to even post my pictures because I'm in my worst ever shape but why the hell not. Least I'll know then where I am starting from.
About 200 Lbs here, 6 foot tall. Carry most of my weight in my hips and chest sadly.

Doesn't work.
Edit:
Worked in incognito.
14%. Very little muscle mass.
While you are not overweight I would prioritize correct your posture/side pelvic tilt - your lower body is tilted to your right and upper body to your left.

19%. You are fat, it does not matter where you pretend to carry fat at this body fat percentage. Sounds more like an excuse. Like all the people at fifteen percentage body fat claiming that they are at ten percentage body fat but are "carrying fat in their stomatch" - EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF. THEM. Plebs.

Excuse? No excuses here. I know I'm fat, thanks for telling me. But it isn't an excuse, it's just my reality that I store a lot of my fat in my chest and hips. That's how my body distributes my fat.
As for 19%, really? I was expecting 25% to be honest.
