Hi can someone provide an estimate? 6'1 185 27 year old male
Hi All,
My first post here in a while. I'm back and ready to get jacked. Can anyone give their opinion of what my BF is? Only pic I have is in my bodyspace or my current avatar.
Thanks in advance!

IMO you are not 15%. How did they measure you at the gym? Most gyms I've been to use calipers which are the most unreliable source of bf measurement.
I'd say for you, borderline 20%. You can get to 15% by losing about 10 lbs which you can do in as little as 4-5 weeks.

Yeah they used those! 5 months ago i was 20%, so in actuality that was probably 25-30% :O

Yeah. When you posted your other thread, I was thinking around 19% (without better/more photos). Again, it's just a number; if everyone said you're 7%, you'd still want to cut more fat, yes? I'll say it again, put on some muscle mass as this will help in your journey to a 6-pack.
Hey need help with BF estimate
I'm 5'10 and 140 pounds.
I'm guessing around 25-27%

lol dont know if you're trolling but take a pic with your shirt off then we can give you a better idea. Judging off that pic I'd say anywhere from 10-15% bodyfat

Thanks! and no not trolling, I was 32% bodyfat at 165 pounds so I was guessing I would be around the 20's% mark at 140 pounds

Hi Everyone, wanting to know BFP estimate for a plan/goals etc.
I am 6’0 (183.5 cm) and weigh 79.5kg (175 lbs) at the time of this post.
Pics are literally a wake-up and take (morning).
Based on research I have done I believe I am 18 – 20% overall, Steering towards 20%, but secondary opinions are great.
I plan to cut down at a rate of 1lb (0.5kg)/week as this is less detrimental for muscle loss risk.
But a question I pose is could I lose fat at a faster rate (maybe 1kg/2lb a week?) since I believe I am 19-20%, and at this high a level is it roughly 1% bfp decrease per pound? (how long would 15% say take?)
Cant seem to find any answers online.
Much Love
Just started lifting around a month ago and I'm having trouble getting an accurate read on BF%. I know I'm skinny-fat but the readings are all over the place. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
29 yr old 5'9" 155lbs
My guess was 18-20%.
Scale says 14.8%
DEXA scan says 30.6%

18-20% looks right to me. I wouldn't look to lose more than 1% of your bodyweight per week.

I'll post a pic of when I started and one from about a week ago since that is the most recent one I have. I have some loose skin. Not sure if the old pics would help or not. If the pics don't work, I have them on my profile.
^I'd say about 20%.

Okay, thanks for that. I've still got ways to go then for a bulk ;(

How much time between those pictures? I'm not an expert by any means, but you've been working hard...Good Job! I wouldn't think you're 20...maybe upper teens. What are your goals?

In sept. it'll make it 2 years exact. The first year though, I didn't really do any weight lifting and I thought that low carb was the answer. I didn't know chit about nutrition. Once it started to get into about a year or so, I started to weight lift. Thanks! I've been trying. My goals weight wise were to get down to 160, but since my bf being a bit higher, I'll prbly cut down to either 155 or 150, depending on how I look in the mirror.

Right on. I'm a beginner, so I have no place giving advice, but you look great...good work.
*I posted a thread specifically for this mistakenly cuz I didn't see this one, so I'ma re post here.
Hey,
I'm a guy who weighs 140 lbs and my height is 5'8".
I did a body fat caliper test and it resulted as 14.3% body fat (15% the second time). I did the 3 site method.
The problem is I very much doubt that number. In my opinion I'm way higher than 15%, but I'm new to the bodybuilding world, so I need assistance determining my body fat percentage.
I attached my most recent pictures. Thanks for the help.
Would love some guesses. Just added a photo to my progress photos with relaxed front, side and back view.
5'3 and 130 pounds.
Thanks man appreciate it.
