Well you are looking around 28-30%. Fair enough you do have the mass to cut down its just ain't fun getting there as although the process is the same (less calories) your body can become a tad good at making you lazier therefore your general TDEE drops.
Once you get to a point where dropping calories is not an option without effecting workouts you will need to increase exercise.

I agree with this. I would not recommend trying to cut to single figure bf% is that is what you are aiming for as its will make you seem very small. You are lean and look good so building muscle should be on the cards soon. If you want to keep the leanness for summer keep weight training on a small deficit/ maintenance and this will allow you to build a small amount of muscle whilst losing a small amount of fat.
If not lean bulk would be my thought cutting much lower would be pointless really.

Of course it will make a difference and you will be leaner and possibly have some abs. The question is though would you really want to be 150lbs at 5' 8. Like I said you look pretty lean to me. The only problem I find if you cut too low is that it looks great for a month but as soon as you start bulking you lose your definition quite quickly.
The choice is yours if you want the leanness for the summer then 150lb would be lean but pretty light. Also when you are cutting you are very unlikely to build any muscle so longer the cut less muscle gaining.

About 14%. You are pretty lean as your core is showing. IMHO you should be lean bulking that will offer the best results. Aim for 2lbs a month and most should be muscle if macros and weight training is optimal.

I think what you're hoping for is more or less a perfect stopping point.
Just don't get too caried away
They'll be more bulk/cut cycles where larger muscles over time will reaaally start to pop at a decently lean bf.

Hello, I'm 25 years old, 5'10 and pretty new. Started working out roughly 4 months ago and was in a really bad shape (~165lbs, really slim and no muscles whatsoever, but with a belly). I'm now at about 182lbs. Still not muscular, but at least there's something now.
I look better, but my belly is still too fat I think, so I'm trying to decide whether to continue bulking and putting on mass, or would it be a good idea to cut for a bit before getting back to the "growing muscle" stage. That's why I think it would be good to know my body fat %.
My "Eye test" says I'm at around 20% bf, but I'm not too experienced with this, so maybe some of you veterans could give your estimates?

22-24%. Aim for 15% first then review there you may lack lean body mass to go lower without looking really skinny.

Not sure about veteran but I can give you my estimate:-
You are better at estimating then you think 20-21% would be my guess as well. Probably be best to cut down to about 15% then repeat really. Make sure you are doing a well proven program like Fierce 5, Allpro, Starting Strength or Stronglifts. Even on a cut try and progress as suggested in one of these programs as you can gain a little bit of muscle during a cut if protein is at reasonable level and the correct weight stimulus is there. Generally you should be able to still get stronger on a cut as well.

Alright it's been 4.5 weeks since I started cutting and I dont think I lost any weight. I ate 2500 first 3 weeks and ive been eating 2200 for 1.5 weeks. Maybe I lost 1kg max but im not sure, atleast I know I havent lost much weight at all. Should I go down to 2000 now or keep eating 2200 for 1.5 weeks and then drop to 2000?

24-25%. That maybe too quick but you wont know until you try. Just remember to keep weight training on a proven weight training program, for every 10lbs you lose drop another 100 calories. Don't count back calories by exercise as well that will help a bit.

23% about. Now deduct 500 calories off per day and that will be a good start 2300. I would then drop 100 calories whenever I lost 10lbs or 200 calories if a weight stall occurs for longer then 2 weeks.

Weight yourself then. It is the only way to know if you are losing weight.
Once you have a weight then consume 2200 calories for 2 weeks and see if your weight goes down. You will have to count all your calories not guess use a calorie counting system like myfitnesspal. If no weight lose then drop 200 calories and repeat. Make sure you lift weights on a proven weight training program like Fierce 5, Starting Strength, etc.

Hey. There's a long way to go to achieve 15%. However, the good thing is that you've only got fat in your belly which is easy to lose if you control your diet. Take a look at my gallery and see what having chest fat feels like. Even though I am down to 18% BF, still can't get rid of that.

20%. I would say just fat however if you are concerned I would advise seeing a doctor as true gynecomastia can only be diagnosed by a trained professional.

23-24%. Carb cycling does nothing for extra fat loss compared with normal calorie restriction. You should aim to lose about 1% of body weight per week. If you aren't losing weight for 2-3 weeks drop calories 200-300 and repeat.
15% generally is the level where you can see your core (not necessary your abs but certainly the core outline).

This is a very basic idea of what it looks like however this will vary dependent on the individuals lean body mass, age, genetic fat distribution etc. Have a little look around past estimates on this thread (even go back to the beginning even) and you will get an idea what 15% looks like.

Great, that means i gained ~13 lbs of fat and ~27 lbs of muscle/water.
the only bad thing is I find whenever I cut i look like **** until i started getting 14% and under, where i see an improvement everyday from then on

16-17% about. Yep sounds good really it will probably help the overall image as it will hopefully stretch the loose skin out a bit. Some will go if you add more muscle so aim to aid slowly (about 1.5-2lbs a month). You look pretty lean so go for it.

I would say 14-15% max as you still have your ribs noticeable which generally you don't above 15%. Yes definetly keep bulking you look lean and adding muscle will offer the best results. 175-180lb sounds fine aim for that by gaining 2lbs a month and then review when you get there.
