She's way off. Make sure you go to a registered dietitian next time. In many places, "nutritionist" is an unprotected title, which means you don't need any credentials.

If I am going surplus, is tdee calorie estimation accurate? My maintenance cal seems pretty high 2,800 cal and now I am eating roughly 2,100 and barely losing weight. Could it be I ate too less and metabolism tanked? Thanks

Sorry not to break you. A lot of weight loss practices would do anything just to cater to your need/ goal. They would even lie to you based on your weight scale. 12% bf on a woman is like a man with 8% bf. That’s an athlete bf.

Yeah, I've been struggling with all this 'losing weight' and 'gaining muscle' thing for a while now. The honest truth is that I'm extremely dissatisfied and sad with what I see in the mirror. I think I should just cut and see if it makes me feel a little bit better, but then again, I can't be sure what my macros would be like :/ it sucks

TDEE calcs are just estimates. They're starting points, not gospel.

That being said, your metabolism doesn't "tank" from eating too little.

Adaptive thermogenesis is a thing (that's what its called when your TDEE decreases from cutting), but it's not as large of a factor as most people think. It's more 100-200 calories.

I am pretty sure you look a lot better now than you were in 150s. Don’t aim your goal too high too quick. Just study your body and do some modification to see any difference. Your body will get there in the long run if you don’t stop putting the effort.

Health is now the most important goal. Let alone the aesthetic for now. You will be a much happier individual.

About 15%. I wouldn't bother to cut. You don't have a lot of fat; you just don't have a lot of muscle either. Start at maintenance and once the weights get hard, start eating at a small surplus.

Already posted a pic of me last week. But I just wanted to post another. Left picture is me at Christmas time. Right picture is me at the moment. How long would it take me to get back to my old size? I was much happier with my size then. Im 5'10 185 . Im not sure how much I weighed on Christmas. Please estimate bodyfat as well :) thanks a lot!

I'd say you were around 15% in the old pic and are around 20% now. Lose 15lbs and then re-evaluate.

I’m back.
I have been slow cutting (deficit of about 200/300 calories) for 2 months now and I want to ask you the result and the body fat.
I stopped creatine 3 weeks ago.
I was 67kg after the bulk and now I am 65.7kg.
I see some fat is gone but I have a big problem with the belly and the love handels.
If I have no jeans on I looks almost ok but with them in you can see al that fat which seems so much to me.
Last time you told me my body fat was around 16 or 17% (you can see the last photos on my bodyspace) but I would like to know the body fat I have now because it looks so much high to me, especially if I see the fat on my belly! It looks like 20 or 22%!

1- what’s my bf?
2- How can I procede now?
3- And finally: does it looks like fat or water caused by creatine (or both)?


I posted some new photos on my body space today with all the position and the details of the fat.
Could you please help me again?

Why are you cutting so slowly? It will take forever to see appreciable changes at that pace. BF% is still in the high teens. I would cut at a faster pace. Creatine doesn't make you look different. It can cause you to hold more water in your cells, but if you look too soft that's fat.

Your bf didn't get higher, but there's a margin of error with any kind of estimate. You can't really see a difference between 67kg and 66kg. That's 1kilo across your entire body.

Last week I used an app called FitImage. It calculated my bodyfat base of my image. Its fairly accurate and fast without going through the steps in here. Technology is making it easier.
I think their website was fitimage.io

You're about 12-13% now. Once you get under 10%, it will be hard to maintain. I would guess 8% and under would be unsustainable, but it varies from person to person.
