[QUOTE=blueripster;1536998901]Please let me know body fat % estimate. 215/6'1.5. I'm thinking about another 5-8 pounds or so for the top 4 to be visible. Plan to cut until see 6 pack and then maintain/slow bulk.

Yes.

Thanks partyrocking! Does that estimate of 5-8 pounds for the top abs to start showing seem like a good indicator since most of the fat left seems to be in mid section? I've been cutting for the last few months so hoping to get there in the next couple of months.

Cool, thanks! That's probably somewhere about 12-14% ?

Estimates for me please! Calipers say around 11%, sounds accurate? I have all 6 abs visible when flexing and a definite outline even when unflexed

Also, I had no idea what my starting bodyfat was in the August pic. what do you think it looked like? 25% I was thinking.

Hey I've been lifting for a month but I'm really unsure on what I should commit to in regards to eating. During this whole month I met my macros but maintained my weight completely (i.e. started at 134lbs and ended at 134lbs). I'm 5'6 at 134lbs and completely unsure of my BF% (I am just going to assume 17%?). I feel that maintaining my weight won't last much longer as lifts are getting harder now and I will probably stall soon at this pace, which is why I need to decide if I should start eating a bit over maintenance or to just delay my progress from increasing weight whilst I cut. Having a good idea of my BF% would help me decide..

Are these pictures flexed? Relaxed ones are needed for an estimate.

Hard to tell with those photos. No point in cutting. You need muscle more than you need to lose fat. Once your lifts stall, slowly increase the calories. Bulk for at least 6 months and then re-evaluate.

You look lower than 15%. I'd say 12-13%. The lack of ab definition is due to a lack of muscle. Lean bulk for at least 6 months, probably a year.

Thank you for the reply! Doing that atm, hopefully I'll be able to put some muscle on.. super regret crash dieting + excess cardio😥

I've read about body recomposition. Would that be appropriate for me?
Thanks.

Would be great to get an opinion on my friends bodyfat, if you got time to do all 3 that would be great but if not, just the last one would be good
He's on the left, he's 6'2 and thinks he was around 207.

What do you think i'm at right now? 20y/o 6'2 154lbs.
https:/ /i.imgur.com/zFxCUo6.png
https:/ /i.imgur.com/nbCG0Yv.jpg
Obviously i'm not interested in getting "lean" as i have literally no muscle to show off, but i just want to get to a point where i wont look fat after a 6-12 month clean bulk. Not sure if i'm already there, or if i should lose a few KG's more as the hips, stomach and upper chest are still looking pretty fatty. I lifted from 15-18 and got pretty big, but i had so much fat on me that i just lost motivation to keep lifting (basically a 3 year dirty bulk with one small cut). So i want to start off this time with as little fat as possible, as opposed to starting when i was already chubby and just getting fat.

Let me know if you need any more information to estimate my BF% visually. Thanks!

Thank you. My goal is to get down to around 10% BF. Do you think I have enough mass to look good at 10%, or should I start a lean bulk once I hit 10%?

It depends on what your goal look is. At 10% you’ll looked skinny-ripped, which some people want and others want to be bigger. My guess is, you’ll want to bulk once you hit 10%

I’d cut down to about 170. Keep lifting and reduce calories until you’re losing 1-2lbs/week. If you start in January, you should be done by May.
