I’d say 14-15%. You lack definition but that’s from not having enough muscle vs. having too much fat.
Going into water testing for BF % in 2 days

Good morning all.
Apologies in advance for the long post but I thought the context may be important.
I've recently got back into lifting and have now been slowly bulking for around 6 months.
I was hoping one of you kind folks could give me a BF% estimate as I'm finding it difficult to work out myself. As you can see, I hold quite a bit of fat around my stomach and hips, but I've had this for as long as I can remember. I was severely obese in my teen years (around 210lb at my highest) so I don't think it's going away any time soon.
For reference, I've also included a picture from September 2017 when I was in full skeleton mode at under 130lb to show I still had a bit of a gut even then. This was taken after emergency bowel surgery (hence the scar) which lead to a significant amount of weight loss due to surgery complications.
The good news is I'm all healed up and enjoying lifting again, but I'm not really sure when I should end my bulk.
Cheers!
Pics in body space under progress section.(Im not flexing FYI)
I’m 5’9” 160lbs
I’ve been cutting for 12 weeks and am getting tired of it. Im down from 178lbs.
Basically no abs in sight. Maybe a little outline of the sides but that’s it. I thought I’d start to see them around 160 and that would give me the motivation to keep going...but nothing.
Thanks for any advise
Could someone come please estimate the body fat % in my new pic, uploaded the 30 July 2018? Thank you

Hey all, I'm pretty new at this and have been cutting since Feb. I'm pretty pleased with my progress, but I want to be sure my personal estimates of BF are accurate.
I have photos in bodyspace.
I'm 36, 5' 10", averaging 170 lbs
Thanks in advance.

The last time I posted I was at 163 lbs(estimated 20% body fat) and suggested to cut 10 more so I have with the same routine, only incorporating IF @ 1700 cals.
Currently I'm at 5'11 @ 153 lbs this morning, after 10 weeks of cutting. Please see attached pictures and kindly estimate my new body fat percentage and whether I should keep cutting or reverse diet/ clean bulk.
I started at 230 lbs 16 months ago and am mentally getting worn out from being in a caloric deficit. My biggest concern is the lower belly fat looks like it'll take another 10 lbs of weight loss( or might be some excess skin) to get rid of which would put me close to 140 lbs and I feel super scrawny at 153 already :)
Thanks in advance for the suggestions.
what do you guys think I should do ? people at gym says im around 14-15% BF. If so, I dont know should I bulk or cut. because 15% is a critical number. and If i cut i will look skinnier which is not something I want. and If I bulk, by the way I am so scared of having a belly because i was very skinny i have never been overweight. I believe im 80% ectomorph and 20% mesomorph.
currently my height is 5 10 and weight is 156 lbs
Edit : btw im not 48 years old. im 20
Thanks man, much appreciated

Hi, I'm 15 want to start working out and I would like to know what you guys think my bf% is. Also any tips /programs recommendation to start would be great(I dont have acces to any equipment).
Just getting into working out seriously. Following Mike Matthew's advice and workout plan. Current lifts are:
Bench - 150 lbs x 5
DL - 185 lbs x 5
Squat - 165 lbs x 5
Stats:
173 lbs @ 5' 11.5''
Want to clean bulk but wanted an estimate on my body fat. Have I gotten too fat already? Or do I just not have enough muscle yet? Thanks!
Can someone tell me my bf please photos are in progress pics. My scales say 30%sigh! Debating still cutting or eating at maintenance. Female 32 5'2 and 51kg
can any one please tell me my bf %

Hey, could I get a bodyfat % update? I checked in about two months ago after bulking from 120 to 150 in 9 months, and was told ~18%. I started cutting then, and in almost exactly two months I went from ~151 to ~141. I was wondering if I could get an estimate on what I am now, because I told myself I'd stop around 12% (I wanted somewhat visible abs before I started bulking again), but I'm already very small and need to go back to gaining weight, and I don't want to get too tiny again. I want to be lean enough to be able to comfortably bulk for 6-8 months without getting too much body fat (last bulk was too much, I'm going to take this one much slower).
Do you think I should continue cutting a bit more, or am I good to start bulking again?
Anyways, 19 years old, 5ft 8. Thanks for the help.
17-18% I would take a 2 week diet break (eat at maintenance) and then slowly bulk. You still have some fat to lose, but you've been cutting for a long time, so you would probably be better off putting on some muscle now and cutting later.
Can I take 1 week maintenance instead of 2 weeks and then bulk?

About 17% Your bf is a little high to start bulking. Since you're new to lifting, you could try a recomp (eat at maintenance) for a few months. You should be able to lose some fat without losing weight.

Anyone have input? Thanks again. Edit: Pics in original post one page back.
Currently 5'10 162.2 lbs as of this morning. Really wanted to see abs for the first time before bulking but I dont think that is going to happen now. Not sure if I should get down to %12 or start bulking now since I am feeling really small, but I want to be able to bulk for the longest time possible before cutting again.

Maybe 15%. It's a bit hard to tell with the loose skin on your stomach (it's a mix of fat and loose skin). Congrats on the weight loss. You've done a great job. I would maintain for about 2 weeks and then slowly bulk.

13-14% I'd bulk, but keep the weight gain gradual. You shouldn't put on too much fat. Just don't treat bulking as an excuse to eat like a pig. That's how people end up with a big gut.

About 14% I would bulk slowly for the next 6 months or so, hit your abs hard and hopefully, they'll pop better when you cut down. If you keep the gain gradual, e.g. 2lbs/month, you shouldn't put on too much fat.
