19 year old
I am 19 years old at 158.6 lbs and 180 cm in height. I took these pictures last week where i was ~159 (Pic was taken after HIIT cardio in decent LA fitness lighting.) I assume i am below 15% body fat (hopefully) and planning on cutting to 10-11% before i start my lean mass phase. Also, can anyone estimate how long it would take me to get to those low body fat ranges? thanks!
I would like to get an update on my current BF %. The last time I was estimated at 33% BF back in April. My latest progress pic on my Bodyspace. Thanks in advance.
*I currently use Yunmai scale and it have me at 21.4% BF.
I'd say 22-23%

Those scales aren't particularly accurate, but you look to be around 25%

A bit hard to say since there's some loose skin and some excess fat. My guess is around 25%.

cutting for a year now started at 238lb want to get down to 10% to start lean bulking up, heard 10% is best to ensure proper nutritional partitioning.
I'm guessing 16% how long till I get down to 10% if I am losing 1 to 1.5 pounds a week consistently.
Thank you

This is hard, but what I think is this, you still have a lot of visceral fat. You look lean on the outside but I think you have some fat on the inside, I can see you have lost a lot of weight and I just guess that some fat on the inside goes late... How is your waist? Mine is about 81 cm, on the pictures it looks like the difference between upper body and lower body is small. Waist is often used to try to guess BF. Please give us measurements of the waist if you want to get a good guess.

That is totally impossible, you can look back in the thread, my last Picture was after I had gone down since last caliper measure, Walking like 30 km per day and eating very Little ( ca 2000 kcal, and weightlifting almost every day) in a week. Before that I was caliper measured at 15,6% by a semi-pro. So I should according to that caliper measure be around 14% (and if i remember you wrote estimate of 20% then) on the old Picture in the thread. Since then I have gone down quite a bit (Ribbs definition is clear sign). Your missing on several Points that Points to a lower range. And yes, caliper is not 100% but no way so way out that I would be 17% now. Thats really not viable.
1. Ribbs are very very clear, if they would be the only indicator I would be extremely low, but I have more fat on other parts. But its part of the equation.
2. If you look you can see the skin has signs of abs definition, according to the guide posted here thats in the 10-13 range.
3. Calves are very lean.
4. Where are my love handles? They should be there in 17% range...
5. My waist is like 81-82 cm. You can estimate bodyfat from weight, length waist and neck. Those Estimates are way lower then 17%. They are around 12-13%.
6. I will soon measure with caliper again and I will post exact results.
7. Go back to the page about BF signs and try to learn about love handles, abs, look at ribs etc. Thats how you get better, your just out of ballpark here. 14% is possible, 15 very improbable, 16 and 17% and up is basicly impossible.
Hello guys
I need another body fat percentage estimate.
I have just uploaded my progress pictures on my bodyspace profile.
stats:
1,89 cm tall / 6ft 2
72,6 kg / 160 pounds
86 cm waist (measured around 3 cm under my bellybutton because there is my fattest part) / 33,8 inches
Smallest waist (under my rips) is around 75 cm / 29,5 inches
I am a novice lifter and started my journey back in March with 93kg. Goal is to get down to 12% bf to start bulk. ( im considering to go down to 67-68 kg which is considered lightweight for my height :D seems like I have 0 muscle)
I can also see some vascularity on my forearms (without pump) and with a pump my right biceps vain pops out on about 2/3 of my arm if this is of any help for you to indicate my bf. no vascularity on any other body parts.
My last estimate beginning of april was around 84 kg with approx 26-28% bf.
I still have a lot of belly and lower back fat. also a tiny bit of chest fat. arms and especially legs seem to be quiet low in bf.
Dont hesitate to ask about any kind of information that helps you to figure out my body fat
Thank you in advance.
cheers from switzerland
And here i thought i was skinny fat... How are you even 72 kg with 189 cm height bro, you could die with that weight. I am 73 kg FFM only and in total 88 kgs. Keep in mind i am not even bodybuilding regularly, and i look skinny...

You want your money back?
You're asking strangers over the internet to estimate your body fat. You don't like the estimate you get, tough.
Calipers measured you at 15.6% and you're mad about an estimate that's 1.4% higher. So, basically 2lbs of fat distributed across your own body, which we're somehow supposed to see with pictures that only show part of your body.
Good God Get a Grip!

id rep but i can't. Most people grossly underestimate their bodyfat then again this thread is ESTIMATE request, about 1-2% difference is expected.

Bf %
Hi Guys,
First of all thanks for the effort here helping the others! it's very appreciated.
I have been working out for couple of years now. Last 3/4 weeks I have been in a very small calories deficit trying to reduce some fat. I consider myself skinny but always caring some fat in the midsection and lower back. I'm on 2500 calories now, started from 3200 reducing around 100 cal per week.
My question here is:
Of course I'd like to know my BF % but also know if I should correct any imbalances/ continue with cutting a couple of KG more before going for a controlled bulk or not. Kind of lost here guys, would appreciate a hand.
Age: 28
Height: 179 cm / 5.8727
Weight: 78kg / 171.961 lb
Waist size: 91 cm
Lifts:
BP: 87kg
DL: 160kg
SQ: 120kg
Probably lost a bit on the DL/SQ due to the deficit.
Thanks!

You posture looks a bit off, which I think is making you look a bit fatter than you are, but I'd still say over 20%, maybe 22%

A bit over 15%, maybe 16-17%. You have a decent base. I'd take off a few more kilos before doing a slow bulk- maybe get to 74-75kg.

Thanks For your help, Partyrocking. I had in mind going down to 76kg but I think I won't be able to see abs/ vascularity on that bodyweight. Would follow your advice. BF% was roughly what I expected. :)
