Looks to be a bit more... ~25%BF or so.
Here are two pictures I just took. I'm 6'2 205lbs currently. Trying to cut after about a year of weight gain. I mostly do a push/pull/legs with 20-30 min LISS training split while incorporating HIIT and track workouts on active rest days. I do IF and have been keeping my calories around 1800-2300 with about 130g being protein.
My goal is to be around 185lbs.
P.S any recommendations on training chest more evenly would be appreciated. I have recently been doing mostly unilateral exercises to correct it but believe its also due to my posture.
Around 20%BF.
Regarding your chest imbalance...
Has it been like it since birth?
Are you left handed?

No, I'm right handed. I've always had a slight imbalance but its starting to get more severe. I think it may have to do with my posture.

Have you been examined for scholiosis or suffered a bigger injury earlier in life?
If not... it likely is behavioural, as in, a result of how you have used your body over the years. I noticed your ribcage being slightly "left-tilted", but I can't see anything structural tied to your back from the other photo...
I'm assuming the simple explanation being; it's due to weakness in the core/back musculature, as these support your ribcage and your posture as a whole.

30 years old / Male / 6'2" / 172lb
Measurements are:
Neck: 14
Chest: 37
Waist: 36
Hips: 34
Thigh: 20
Callipers, digital scale and online 'guestimates' say 14%-16%, not sure if that's anywhere close. I lost a ton of weight so loose skin/self image are considerations. I don't really want to lose weight, just reduce body fat % at this point to low enough to where I don't feel like I have a ton of chub around the gut/love handles. (I wear a medium shirt, but it's a bit tight at the bottom, I have to wear my pants high if I'm gonna do shoulder press lol)
Navy method says:
Body Fat 23 %
Fat Mass 40 lbs
Lean Mass 132 lbs
Body Fat Category Fit
23% yet I'm fit? What? I don't think this thing is accurate AT ALL haha
My impression is that I'm carrying most of my remaining fat in the waist area, should probably aim to lose 6" from my waist and maybe 4" from hips, chest is still slightly flabby but my rib bones are peeking out so I'm not sure if I want to lose fat from there anymore.

Great work! I'm inclined to agree, looks to be around 15%BF.
In my opinion you look lean enough to move on to maintenance calories and focus on your lifting progress! A high activity level with matching calories and good amounts of protein will produce great results given time and effort.
You can start a slow bulk whenever you feel ready, the benefits of a lower starting BF% for bulking are overrated.
If you still want to cut further for your own reasons... going down to 10% is taking it too far imo, 12%BF might be the point of diminishing returns.
If I did want to go down to 12%, how much more weight would you think I'd need to lose approximately? 10 lbs? I am 170 right now.

Hard to say, but 10 lbs sounds reasonable... it will depend on how much waterweight you lose.

What is your estimate for me?

About 21%BF.
About 21%BF.
21 seems high vs. what my caliper says. Should I be flexing my stomach in the photo? I’m just relaxing.
21 seems high vs. what my caliper says. Should I be flexing my stomach in the photo? I’m just relaxing.
Relaxing is the way to go.
Do you have front/back pics? Sometimes angles fool me...
Yeah, calipers aren't that accurate and the calculation methods are flawed from my experience... regularly got a 4%BF reading at actual 7-8%BF in the past.

I think i'm going to cut down to around 145 and hopefully drop down to around 11-12%. I know thats skinny for my height but i hate being skinny fat like this.

I get that. I'd start at maintenance, focus on the lifting progress, keep up protein and work up your metabolism/TDEE by activity, before cutting down on your intake.
-
How long would you do that for before cutting down on intake?
-
How long would you do that for before cutting down on intake?
Forever if possible, eating more and moving more benefits you WAY more than maintaining on a lower amount of calories. Max out your lifing regime first, add sports/cardio to fill out your schedule. This is the fastest solution to being skinny fat, do what athletes do^^

If you could tell me the cues you used to estimate, that would help. I can’t tell the difference between the 15% and 20% guys from the body fat visualization. Thanks in advance!
BTW I’m 6’3” and 202 lbs
-
is it normal to not see a big difference going from about 21% to 17%? source: bulked for 6 months and put on some mass, cut for 3 months and only looked smaller with little to no definition
does it get better when i go from 18% to 14% or something?
-
5’10 183, trying to decide if I’m lean enough to hop onto maintenance or keep cutting

That straighter angle does you more justice:-)
Based on those pics you are in around 18%BF. Your back is slightly leaner than your front from what I can see.
I look at muscle definition, vascularity, muscle size (LBM), bigger deposits and apperarence of skin to determine how thin it is. 15%BF most likely includes arm vascularity, good general muscle definition and a good outline for the abs with the top 2 quite clearly visible, unless fat distribution is uneven or too much loose skin is present (same for any area). At 20% most of the above traits are hidden.
