I’m not saying you’re mis-counting, I’m saying you’re not in a 1500 calorie deficit.
You’re either not eating what you think, or you’re not burning as much as you think... there is no other option here.
Putting on muscle mass at very accelerated rate could account for it. I lost around 40 pounds of muscle, if I was able to get back to it in 6 months that’d be 1.5 lbs a week of dry mass gained
Assume for sake of argument I was genetic freak

Kevin’s levrone underwent exaggerated version of similiar process during his Olympia preps. Lost **** ton of fat while regaining substantial muscle, at much great rate than this bc of pde

LOL
Dude... r u srs?
The PED’s are the reason for that... obviously.
And no, you didn’t lose 40lb of muscle.
Again, this is getting stupid now.
I’m done.

Hence why he did it at accelerated rate. It doesn’t preclude possibility of milder version of same process happening in natural athlete l.
I did tho, I went from 215 at 18% to 175 at 18%

my guess is somewhere in-between; you're putting on your old muscle and your TDEE and deficit are probably slightly lower than you think

If you are flexing/sucking it in in that photo (Photo is named "Flex4.jpg") then no, you are closer to 19-20% and not 15%.
BF estimates from pictures should be from a relaxed, NOT flexing/sucking it in photo.
looks like 20% to me
So doing the math 10% bf would be at 155, if i only lost fat (which i know is not how it works). Just trying to figure out what weight range i should cut to; prob between 145-150? Thx in advance sir

I mean, just cut until you’re happy with how you look... no reason to slap a number on it...

Posting after a while! 5’9 200lbs here. Cut down from 255 last January. If I had to self estimate I’d probably say 28%.

Looking to cut till I hit 10-12%, hopefully within the year.
Let me know what you guys think... thanks!

I’m no expert but I’d say 10-12%. A bit hard to tell because the image quality is a bit poor and the lighting is not amazing either so there is some variation from picture to picture. But around 11% if you split the difference seems fair to call. Solid physique dude.

Why? 500-700 is plenty
Why? 500-700 is plenty
It is, I would just like to lose as quickly as is safe, that’s all. I understand 5-7 is good, especially at lower body fat levels, but at high levels I had heard that you can go into a steeper deficit as the body is more willing to burn fat if you have a lot, without sacrificing lean mass.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not wanting to rush the process, as I know that leads to bad results, but I want to be as time efficient as possible. Assuming I want to get to 12 percent, this means I need to lose 7 kg of fat. I’m currently dropping around 0.5kg a week, on average, so another 14 weeks is a slog, that’s all.
