Hello,
I am 6.1 Height and 180 lbs. Any idea what's my Body Fat % ? Should I bulk ? (If yes, how much do you think should i gain ?)
I think you are around 18% bodyfat. You should gain 20lbs, once you are 200 lbs then you should decide on what to do next.
bf estimate, should i bulk or cut, thanks
Around 18% bodyfat. Cutting or bulking depends on what you want to achieve. Are you looking for size or being very lean?

18 % ? Oh man I though it's more like 12-14 %. So anyway time to bulk for 1 year to gain 20 lbs :D

You are. You don't have a hip to torso divide at 18% bf nor your ribs won't be showing which yours are. I would say 13-14%. Yes you should bulk good luck.

More than 25% BF? With the outline of his core and a clear pelvic V? You're smoking crack and should not be giving out estimates.
Hey Guys, I'm here because my body depresses me. I am 6'5ft tall, 20 and only weigh 80kg and my body is no where close to what I want it to look like.
I decided to cut before trying to gain mass and have managed to drop 25kg total.
I look like a stick :) I know.
Just wondering if you could give me a body fat % estimate. I was 105kg at the start of 2018 and have lost a lot of fat but also muscle mass in the process.
Whenever I measure myself using scales/US navy method... stuff like that it's always telling me 10-13% which I know cant be true..
I feel like as well I have bitch tits now due to my fat loss and loose skin and was wondering if there is anything I can do to fix that.
Cheers all.

Hi all,
I'm in the midst of a cut and would really appreciate some BF% estimates to better define my goals :)
Very grateful for any input!
Height = 170cm / 5.1

Hey guys!
I've created my account here yesterday for the sole purpose of reaching my goal which is to both lose body fat and gain muscle mass.
I began heading to the gym on January 2018 and along the way went from 165 pounds to 147.2 pounds. However, the one thing I haven't been monitoring lately was my body fat percentage.
I am 19 years old, 5'9 in height, and currently, weigh 147.2 pounds.
I've purchased a slim guide skinfold caliper about three months ago and some changes were shown. On my first day it said that I was around 20% body fat. Then, later down the road, I dropped down to 18% bodyfat.
However, I haven't gone to the gym for about a month due to my finals haunting me. And it was a NIGHTMARE not going back to the gym.
But now I'm back on track.
My caliper's say that I'm currently at 19.7% body fat and I would like your input on whether or not it is correct.

I’m so ready to bulk. Been in a deficit for almost 4 months now.

Also, thinking about lean bulking once I hit 150-155. How does this sound? Scared of putting on fat with the beach in a few months.
Bulk and I would say 14% about.
You are at around 16%. I would personally just slow the bulk down and progress with your lifts. I found the same thing when I bulk I add a bit of fat to begin with then it slows down just keep the same calories and keep pushing at the gym. Once you are unable to keep increasing the weight and volume as prescribed in the Fierce 5 or your weight stops increasing after a month or two completely then increase calories a bit. You are certainly built and don't look fat one bit.
Thanks. I just spent 7 months cutting so seeing the body fat slowly come back gives me anxiety
6'1 and about 184 currently. My last bulk wasn't good. I didn't gain much strength or muscle even though I put on about 15 pounds over a year. I've been cutting for about 6 weeks trying to get lean enough again to go on another extended bulk since I'm still lacking muscle mass. I want to go down below my last cut which was about 180 so I'm not just yo yoing back and forth and I'll have room to put on a lot of weight before cutting again.
These photos were taken this morning after a weekend where I was easily at or above maintenance since I was out of town.
Thanks man...was a little bummed when the other person said 25%!
Don't be you look lean, not sure what the other guy was seeing but never mind as Squid99 said you don't have an outline and pelvic V at 25% so you are in a good place.

I know how it feels my last cut was very late so I missed all the summer and only got lean just before Xmas (really pointless time). But remember you didn't gain fat overnight before your previous cut, so you wont this time its just a case of taking things slower muscle takes time to grow.
I've been trying to guess my BF percentage, but I'm not so sure if it's correct, and would like some help on this.
Thinking of trying to cut into 10-13% BF and then lean bulk

13-14% isn't that far off actually. You just lack lean body mass. I wouldn't feel depressed you are actually in a pretty good starting point. You are lean therefore any muscle gain will be more noticeable. You need to start a lean bulk and aim to add about 2-3lbs a month. Have a look for a good program on the workout stickies (I recommend Fierce 5, Allpro and Starting Strength).
To get rid of the extra fat on your chest you should build bigger chest muscle (this will stretch out the fat over a bigger surface area). Yes it is slow and will take about 6-18 months but you will see results quicker as you are slim but this will offer the best results.

Little bit lower around 17-18%. I would bulk with a very small surplus of calories. Building muscle will offer a better result then cutting to nothing.

15-16%. 3lbs will make no different so if you do plan to cut further it will have to be about 10lbs (8lb is fine as well). Its up to you really if you want to be leaner for the beach cut as stated then slowly bulk through the summer or maintain. I would however not cut too low and think about building muscle (so don't bother dropping more then 10lbs).

I’d appreciate any estimates please.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
5'10 172.5 lbs. I appreciate any estimates. Pictures are in my bodyspace.
also any advice you may want to give.
I made a bet last summer that I would get a six pack by the end of June 2019 or go one year with no beer. I was 190 lbs at the time. Am I going to make it? I figure I have to hit 10% bf to count as abs.
I have a great gym at my work but only 35 minutes/day available to use it. I usually run a mile as fast as I can, then choose three basic exercises (squats, benchpress, pullups, military press, barbell curls, dips, lat pulldowns, or rows) and get in 3 sets of each. This 4 days a week.
I count my macros and am sticking at a 2100 cal. diet with 160 grams protein.
Thanks again for any estimates and suggestions.

No you aren't that high you just hold most of your fat in the mid section. You look pretty lean. That choice is generally yours you could cut down to having a possible top 4 abs but I definitely wouldn't go lower. Although bulking shouldn't be far off and you could start now if you are happy with your leanness. But I wouldn't bother going to 10%.

The old 15% body fat rule generally means individuals who are quite well trained and have successful completed a few bulk and cut cycles. Most information on this percentage come from experts in the field of body composition, however most of them if not all are training with people with a history of muscle training therefore have a solid base already.
When I bulk you usually go higher more like 18-20% just because I find it offers more time to develop more muscle instead of cutting all the time as you usually look 'soft' around any bulking quite quickly. I would say just keep bulking slowly with a weight gain of around 2lb a month for a solid 6 months if not longer then review. If you only consume 200 calories above maintenance, and gain only about 2lbs a month most will be muscle as long as you get enough protein and work hard on a proven weight training program.

17% around about. Make sure you follow a proven weight training program will offer the best results such as Starting Strength, Stronglifts etc. As you progress drop 100 calories every you lose 10lbs this will ensure weight loss continues. Add cardio for extra calories burnt but ensure you get your weight training in first. As for abs they are an odd one you may not have enough lean body muscle to cut to full abs without looking sick (some people need to go lower then 10%) but you should get some abs showing. Good luck

I would say about 22-23%. Tad hard to tell as you have as you have massive core/ large amount of lean body mass but some fat. Certainly bear mode you look very solid.
