Look who decided to mosey on over from the misc.
You actually look like you're making progress now bro. I'd say 14%. Have you gotten over the fear of dropping below 185 pounds, I see you're down to 175 now so that's good (srs)?
I know the Misc section ribs you a lot for not making progress in 7 years or whatever it is, but I think you'd look super good at 160-165. Just my opinion.

Yeah i don't plan on going above 185 again for a while. i'm about 176-177 right now. This is without a pump and i haven't lifted in several days.
170 is my goal at the moment
17y/o 5'9'' 187lbs. Can I get an estimate? Navy result shows 18-19 percent.

I'd guestimate more like 22-25% bruh

Good work. Yeah you're at the point now that you'll start noticing results with every couple pounds lost. From 13-17% the visual differences aren't that drastic and you just feel like you're losing size but not looking much different. Once you get below 13% and approach the 10% and under level every single pound makes a difference.
What's your goal in terms of body fat levels? If 10% and below then I'll stick to my 160-165 or so pounds guess. By 170 you should be approaching 12% which is still aesthetic though.
So started of August I weighed 210 and was just fat. Now down to 155 Lbs and finished dieting and preparing myself to start my first bulk and was wondering if anyone could give me a body fat estimate. I've pretty much no muscle mass and ideally I would have preferred my body fat to be lower before bulking but I am just shy of 6 foot 1 and have been dieting for 9-10 months now and feel like I just can't lose anymore weight because I already look puny in a shirt due to my complete lack of muscle mass.
So yeah stats are.
6 foot 1
155 lbs
waist is about 32 inches if that helps with estimate.

15% around about. Good plan you need to bulk really you aren't fat as you said you just lack muscle so get on a decent progressive training plan and aim to add about 2lbs a month eating a small surplus of calories of around 200-300 above maintenance TDEE.

Yeah i feel like i'm at that point finally. I just plan on hitting 170 on the scale for now. Will reassess after that.
Hi all,
Been cutting for a while and would love estimates. Pics are in body space! All pics are relaxed, btw!

Hi guys,

6'1", currently about 168. Down from 220+ as of this time last year. Been cutting and lifting, trying to decide when to stop cutting and start the slow bulk.
Hey guys. Could you take a look at my profile and give me an estimate of my current body fat %?
I'm 6'1 220lbs. I think that im somewhere between 20-25%. I'm down from an obese 300lbs and was wondering where abouts im gonna end up if i want to get to around 12% bodyfat. And how much longer will i need to cut.
.
Anyone?

Yep I have you at 24-25% near enough. 12% bf I would say around 180-185lbs. Time frame depends on your speed of weight loss if you are losing 1% of body weight per week (around 2lbs) so close to 6 months but time frames are very hard to estimate due to personal circumstances.
Thanks man. I'm going to start fierce 5 program I think.
Good idea I personally have done the Fierce 5 (or a variation of it) and I found it good for packing one the muscle if you are dedicated to it.
and btw i have take creatine for a few months a few days ago i was at 54 and it spike really fast to 57
13%. As you are 16 I advise you DON'T count calories and certainly do not consider cutting. Eat to hunger and get on a solid weight training program you are young and should be active so you need to eat to become bigger no question about it.
Creatine use is not required to build muscle in adolescents (or adults actually) as creatines effect on hypertrophy is minimal and is best used for max performance and strength recovery. Although creatine has not been found to have adverse effects on adolescents therefore is safe to use, don't think it will be the supplement to build solid mass as it won't.
Eat regular high protein meals with nutritional food sources such as whole grain, potatoes, beans, fruit and veg whilst enjoy food you like and be active whilst enjoy being 16. You have a lean base so work hard and enjoy being young.
Total guess and I am far from expert but maybe around the 15% mark, sure someone else can chime in thats better but thats my guess :)
Thank you dude very appreciated!

10% maybe a bit lower due to the divide in your groin muscle.

15ish% would be about right as you can start seeing your core definition you look pretty solid

14% you can see core outline and the groin divide is starting to be seen. Yep slow bulk from now no question. Aim to add around 2lbs a month on a small surplus of calories around 200 calories above maintenance TDEE.

14% around about you can see the clear cut in on your upper abs. You are at the point where you could do either cut/ bulk for your personal preference for a bit what is your goal?
Long term though a bulk would be my advice but like I said depends on your personal goal short term.
A lot to ask, this being my first post - none the less. I have no idea where I am currently. My legs are fairly lean and I store a lot around my mid section.
Photos are in the progress profile.

I will equally start a thread soon in the nutrition section, to make sure I am on the right path. Thanks!
Hi need some help estimating my bf % the gyms scales are saying 18/19%.
I'm 18 and 5 ft 8 inches weighing 158lbs.
Personal message me for the pictures if you feel you could help thanks.

Thank you! Been cutting since the new year, lost 20 pounds. When do you think I could transition to slow bulk? Thinking when I get down to 155/about 12% body fat

You will probably have to go a little lower then 155lbs to be 12% just because of the water weight and glycogen loss so around another 10lbs at 152 would have you pretty much there and most likely based on the size of your core which is noticeable already relaxed I think top 4 abs will be quite solid (maybe not popping but certainly clearly noticeable).
You do have the mass/ look to go lower if you wish IMHO so yes aiming for around 12% at 150-155lb bracket would have you looking lean whilst maintaining good size. Then on the slow long lean bulk train to add even more mass.

I have you at 15-16%. The only reason you notice more fat around your core is because you lack some lean body mass. I am 6ft 2 as well and at my cut level I am at 80kg so you do need to bulk sooner rather then later.

You can upload your body pics to your bodyspace.

Went from 305 lbs to 185 “recomped” to about. I’ve never really been lean and I don’t have a lot of muscle mass so I’m not exactly sure what to do. I just took a week eating around maintenance and was thinking ofspending the next month finishing cutting, but I’d end up like a pencil. Or I bulk up but won’t be super lean for summer. Any advice appreciated
