13-14% with good muscle base and fat storage genetics (the fat is evenly distributed all over your torso rather than concentrated in any one area).

You look fine man but I would definitely say it's time to go for a steady bulk, you'd look a lot better with more mass

Yes that’s why it’s very confusing for me to estimate. Rest of body seem ok but just one big chunk of lower belly fat

You have unfortunate BF genetics and carry most of it around your torso/midsection.

Any advice for people in that situation? I think I might have the same issue.

Diet and exercise. The fat will come off when it comes off. There is no way to spot reduce or choose where that will be though so you just have to keep at it until your body starts pulling calories from the midsection (however long that takes).

Hey guys! I posted a request for a body fat % a few weeks ago and got estimated at around 15-17 %. I was wondering how many more pounds I’d need to drop to get to around 11-12. In the pics I have in my gallery I’m at 152 pounds at 5’8. Thanks in advance.

Assuming you were 16% at 152 and lost ~only~ fat then 144 would be at 12%. In reality you will lose a bit of lean mass so you'll probably have to drop closer to 141 to 142 pounds to get there.

Hey all, 25M/205 lbs @ 173cm here.
Been dedicatedly losing weight since January, down about 50 lbs. I would estimate myself 27-30% but wondering what y’all think.
Thanks!

Little confused man - you put me at 30-33% when I posted this a few months back. Just comparing the two it seems I’ve lost a good deal of fat on the belly since. So doesn’t make sense how my BF% would increase?

Honestly? Based upon your current picture, I was wrong back then and probably underestimated it by several percent. When a person is over 30%, without a side view it can be difficult to figure out just how heavy they actually are. Either way, you are looking at having 50+ pounds to lose still to get into a "lean" state.

[QUOTE=dd1211;1609684311]Hi guys! I am new here.

Hi all,
Stats
Height: 176cm (5'10")
Weight: 106.7kg (234.7lb)
seeking some bf% estimates after a 5+ year absence from consistent training. I moved out of my physical job into an office and stopped all exercise, filling my time with an engineering degree which is coming to a close in the next few months. Given that timing I have found myself with some spare time as the closing subjects are quite easy..
For a quick look at how hard I have relapsed jump onto my profile and find my photo from 2014 í ½í¸‚
Also what would you advise I do first?

176 cms tall, 69 kgs by weight.
Dropped from 71 to 69 kgs over the last ten weeks with a 5x weekly dumbbell workout at home (muscle & strength prescribed routine) and 4-5x weekly cycling (200kms+ every week). Also in slight calorific deficit with a reasonable watch on my macros - keeping proteins heavy, carbs and fibres balanced, and fats and sugar low.
Progress has been mapped in the attached image.
Apart from body fat estimate, feel free to shoot general workout advice. My goal is to get rid of the flabby bits around my core and outside my chest, and generally get a leaner and more shredded look with defined pecs and abs. Not too hung up on size, I like the lighter look, and would rather have more athletic stamina than muscle bulk.
Thanks in advance!

Cut while lifting hard in the gym to try to regain some lost muscle mass.

14% ish but with almost no developed muscle.
And right now you aren't going to look "shredded" or "athletic" by losing any more weight, you are going to look like a famine victim.
You really need to start a proven lifting program for beginners like Stronglifts and follow it to the letter for 4-6 months. Adding 10-12 pounds of muscle won't make you look "bulky". It is however what will make you look "athletic".

Thanks mate! 14 percent is better than I expected! Having been a hypertense 100kgs in March 2019, even 'famine victim' makes me happy. :)
I'm completely onboard with your workout advice about gaining muscle. Gyms around me are expected to open in September, so I will be making a regime switch as soon as that happens.

Started to workout in the beginning of the year with bodyweight exercises only, trying to cut some belly fat and gain some muscles. After 3 months I went on calorie maintenance for a month, while still doing bodyweight exercises. Last month I switched to StrongLifts 5x5 on a slight calorie surplus. How do you rate my bf%? I struggle to pinch a caliper almost everywhere except the waist, where I litereally can grab the fat in my hands. Should I stay at calorie surplus and do routine like AllPro's /Fierce 5, or just go deficit to lost belly fat with said routines? I know building muscles is a long term process, so my goal is to weigh 85kg with reasonably low bf% at the end of next year.

13-14% but you really need more muscle on your frame at this point.

There is no general ideal bodyweight. Your weight is dependent on many factors including your muscle mass and bodyfat.
The ideal weight for you is dependent on your goals. At your height you could weigh the same as you do now and be very muscular and relatively lean. Or you could have low muscle mass and be chubby or anything in between and all at the same "bodyweight".
What would be helpful is if you could post a picture of yourself (as it says in the initial post of this thread) and we can tell you roughly what your bodyfat is. Then you can decide what to do from there to reach a look that you like

ok. i am about to post a picture. what kind of pic do you need? do you need top and bottom? should it be when im dry or post workout?
also flexing or not flexing and do you need a back shot?

As per the very first post on this thread's instructions...

Best results will include full body pictures, in a relaxed pose, taken from front, side, and back. [/I][/B]
