Companies were allowed to produce and sell it before. Marked illegal offically and not allowed to sell now or sell with chance of penalty now. You know what I mean KDD. No need to get into pages and pages regarding semantics
They weren't allowed to. They just did it and crossed their fingers that the FDA wouldn't come knocking. You have to remember, these warning letters are not like warrants for your arrest, a lot of companies just ignore them many a times. NO company since the Jack3D ordeal have been allowed to produce, sell, and use DMAA for human consumption in any shape, way, or form.
While I will miss DMAA, I build tolerance to that quickly, so it is not too big of a deal. Easy to always just add caffeine if needed for more energy; been liking more focus based ingredients lately, love the feeling of being 'in the zone'.
I love being in the zone so that's why I prefer pre-workouts that have good focus
ingredients over the ones that use a boat load of caffeine with no focus.

See those SABO deadlift shoes on ebay for like $44 CAD. Awesome price, seller has good reviews. For some reason I always feel like ebay deals are too good to be true though...

Bought two tubs of Meso and two of Wicked. Want to try DMAA before it's gone.
I know nothing about the stuff legally though. As a PO, if I get drug tested am I screwed now since it's "illegal"?

Didn't some people test out positive for amphetamine? Or was that with AMP.

The would have to specifically test for DMAA. So I would think you would be good on a drug test.

Been drug tested plenty of times myself while using DMAA and no issues. Also, pretty sure it is just illegal to sell now and not illegal to use (might be wrong on that).

I think you should be good. Usually they have a list of what they test for that's considered a fail, right?

Well that's good to know. Believe it or not i've never placed an order on Ebay.
Just found the ASICS Matflex 5 for even cheaper and quicker shipping. Read great feedback on these too. Think I've found a winner.

Thanks guys! Gbullock that's a sigh of relief on my end, since you're also in LE
I know people that have used the Asics wrestling shoe for deadlifts. I personally use the Reebok Crossfit Lite LTRs and really like them. They have much more support than chucks imo.
TRs seem like they have a tiny bit more traction than Chucks too. Plus they're wider if Chucks are too low-volume for your feet. They're marginally squishier, but probably not to the point it matters...seen some big guys squatting in them and being perfectly fine with it. I used them for a while, at some point between playing with them and Romaleos and Chucks...landed on Chucks in the end because the wide base was making them weird for squatting for me...couldn't drive out laterally quite as hard without sliding inside the shoe.
There are insoles in OG Chucks? LoL. I know my Chuck Taylor 2s have insoles but they are very different from regular Chucks.
Chucks Taylor 2 uses Lunarlon, right?
Yeah, OG Chucks have a foam insole that's built up more towards the heel than the toes. Rip that out and they're pretty firm and low to the ground...they feel like they may be even lower than my Matflex at that point, but the traction on the Matflex is better so I still end up wearing the Matflex for sumo. I squat and pull convo (and do almost everything else) in the Chucks though...would probably buy slippers if I competed convo, but since it's primarily an accessory for me, I just stick to the Chucks.

Plenty of huge deadlifters pulling more than either one of us pull in the Matflex, so doubt you'll have any squishing problems. Traction is better than Chucks in my experience too. Enjoy.

Very cool, that helps seal the deal. Thanks again for all the feedback everyone.

For FAA drug testing I just use the blank section of the form to disclose anything I am taking, just in case.

New shipping is weird. Placed an order with B-elite and non B-Elite items. Shipping for the B-Elite > 50$ was 2.99 and the non B-Elite was 7.99 for total shipping charge of 10.98. Changed my order so that the B-Elite was < 50$ and then total shipping was only $7.99.
I know they are trying to give an incentive for B-Elite items, but seems to be a hindrance when paired with non B-Elite items.

Even the standard 7.99 would have been understandable. But not 7.99 + 2.99.

But with BB.com, I normally find them to have lower base prices + 10% off, so shipping almost comes out even with other deals. It's the fact that I receive my orders in only 1-2 days that has me ordering more.

This and I don't know what the return policy is on other sites but BB is outstanding regarding that department. I mean who doesn't like interacting with Deadlift Dave? :D

Sadly have to agree when other places don't increase shipping based on what you purchase. Some places even ship for free.

I'd imagine that's a problem with their algorithm, assuming whatever you took out of your order wasn't overly large or heavy. I'd think if you had contacted customer service and explained what was happening, they'd fix it.

Nothing heavy, just a multi vitamin. Customer service is great and they probably would have fixed it, I just didn't want to deal with it today.

Nice! Hoping some of those flavors hit the U.S. at some point, especially banana.
