Sodium shouldn't be your main concern, but I wouldn't say don't worry about it. Excessive sodium can cause bloating and water retention. This is where our lovely friend water weight comes from. If you eat a lot of sodium, I'd reccomend drinking a few extra glasses of water a day, just in case.

Initially water retention is a problem but after only a few days on a high sodium diet a negative feedback mechanism (can't remember details but I will look em' up if neccesary) kicks in and the excess water is lost. This is the reason why sodium loading works. First you load up on the sodium before a contest bloating you up, the water eventually passes and you look normal again, then you eliminate ALL sodium from your diet and you will be very dehydrated but look hard as a rock.
Just Cant Get Into Ketosis On Those Dam Stix Help!!
Well I ve been doing the keto diet for my fifth day today and I just can get any reading on those ketostix. I am consumming about 55% fat / 35%protein / and 5% carbs and I still cant get into ketosis. What is the problem??I am 6'3'' 195lbs an about 15% bf. I am consuming a total amount of between 3000-3500 calories/day and my postworkout shake consists of 42g protein and 30 g carbs(gatorade). What am I doing wrong can anyone please help me out because I just can get into ketosis. Should I change the ratios around or do something else?? I just need some advice Can any of you guys please help me out??

Creatine on non-workout days
Is it necessary to take creatine on non-workout days? If so do you just take it with water rather than a carb drink? Just curious what everyone else does here.
Been on diet for 5 days....lost 5 pounds. Probably all water. I've been hovering right around 2000 cal's per day but I'm having a hard time keeping my total fat intake under 60% of my diet (not counting post workout drink). Should I cut the cheese out? I eat about 1.5-2oz. of cheese twice a day as part of my morning and afternoon snacks. If I can hit 50-60% of my diet as fat I'll be happy but I don't want to keep going over. Any suggestions on what to replace the cheese with? (I love cheese)
