You probably have Asperger's or are autistic then (srs). Relationships and emotional connections with others are incredibly important for a human society. We rely on these relationships to, among other things: Develop us as humans, decrease our stress, increase our joy, and much more.

I complete agree that they are "useless" and I don't have many emotions towards anything. It's not aspergers or autism, it's just reality

For me it comes down too this.
A real relationship is only needed when you want have kids.
So you give that kid some stable ground when its young.
But you shouldn't even consider having kids unless you have figured out who you are, and that you are 'alpha'
and have no hang ups, like worrying what people think of you or being a push over.
That's my view and its because i don't want to be responsible for ****ing up another humans life or how they see the world.
I know for me I used to be very quiet because when 'talking' to my dad he would just dominate the 'conversation'. So when I got to school for the first few years I was the quiet kid, I never practiced speaking my mind. I was always just talked to instead of talked with. (If that makes sense).

I have no diseases and my brain functions perfectly fine(tested into private schools).
Edit: Sex is for reproduction and I'm pretty sure evolution made sex feel good so we would want to do it. Also back in the day society made it necessary for people to pair bond, now a days a women can raise children on their own since they can work, vote, and do everything a man can. You have to look at how societies and technology are changing, things that were once necessary are now no longer.
In response to you're other comments, I lift to decrease stress and do a few other activities, for joy I travel, golf, fish, ski, parties with friends, etc.. Maybe you need someone to hold your hand through life, but I know what I want, how to get it and I will do just that.

lol all this conversation about whether or not relationships should be relevant during high school is totally on topic. for one, relationships do take time, can take away from grades or what not. same with college too. Aside from that....
my personal opinion is relationships for the most part are useless during the younger ages because if you look at yourself and the people you know... how many high school sweethearts die together? like 1 of 100000000 or something. it's pretty rare, so with that being said. it seems to me from my experience through high school that "dating" was for the phucky phucky and not for the actual love and caring. that feeling of wanting to spend time with someone vs i wanna get int heir pants and have a party. And yes, i'm quite the old fashioned character, but i like it that way.

Can anyone explain to me why this girl stares at me in class? I never talk to her but when I am talking to someone else she will just keep looing at me. I will see her from the corner of my eye and I think she knows but she just keeps looking. I have never talked to this girl but it feels kind of awkward when I'm talking.....she does not change her facial expression or eve smile so I cant tell if she is mirin or not.

make sure there's nothing behind you that she might be lookin at first... i used to stare longingly out of a window all chem class (phucking hated every moment) and this girl who sat right in front of it thought i was staring at her all class, every class and approached me about it

ill bump. ok, well as ive mentioned before a while back i really havent been exacly trying to get girls or even communicate with girls all that often. but, recently ive been getting extremely lonely. its not a matter of a lack of friends, i have the best friends in the world even though my circle is small. this is a legitimate loneliness and ive been thinking its time for me to really try and get a girlfriend. however, since the general consensus seems to be that teenage relationships are pretty much used for practice at this point and can be somewhat useless, i dont know whether this is the best option. i know this sounds soooo pathetic but ive never truly had a girl care for me or be sincerely interested in me and you guys dont know how much i want to know that feeling. im sorry to get all sappy and i really dont even know how to explain it but i just need advice, any advice on how to go about adressing this

srs. I felt like that about a month ago, but when I really questioned it I was like 'wtf why would I bother'. Whenever I'm with my mates and we're not talking about football or some **** like that, they just moan about their gfs and how fussy and pissed they can get.
