Sounds like you're not cocky but actually insecure. Realize that girls are just like us, they eat, sleep, ****, worry, feel insecure, overthink, and all that bull****. You are putting girls on a pedestal and definitely overthinking the whole process. Get out more and just approach girls, casual conversation, and your confidence will develop. I know that feel, unless you practice talking to chicks and stuff things will stay the same, I can confirm. I get a ton of compliments from guys and girls IRL on my physique but meanwhile can't get a girl if my life depended on it

No, It's not a good idea. I went into college this year with a girlfriend and it ended on a very bad note. If she's insecure about herself, or your relationship, it will rip you two apart. There's not much sense in it if you ask me. I'm single now and have been for a few months. I mean after a while you start to miss just being able to have someone you caught feels for be with you. But you get over it. Then on to the next girl.

Which brings me to my dilemma. I really caught the feels bad for this one girl, but she told me she didn't want to date anyone (yet). We've had a lot of deep conversations about relationships and why not and blah blah blah. If she liked you last year then she probably still likes you. Not necessarily the way she did before, but if you didn't do anything stupid to make her dislike you then there's no reason for her not to. Chances are that if you start talking to her the feels will return. You just gotta get over the mental block of not knowing what to say. Women like to talk, so just ask questions. But pay attention to what she's saying. Also, if you start talking about anything more than just shooting the sh*t then remember that stuff, women like that. Just do you and you'll be fine. The most important thing I have learned is that girls like confidence. So if you are reasonably good looking and really confident, you can have any girl you want.

I live in a rural area (town with ~5k inhabitants) so there is not a lot to do here; nearest cinema is around 10 miles away so we have to take the bus etc etc.

I am currently a college student about 4 hours away from home. I plan on studying abroad in late 2015-early 2016. Ok, simple question. I like this girl. We barely talk. The only reason we talk is that we're in AP Stats together. We've been talking more recently because she's in my survey group for this class project. -Asks me to hang out with her when she smokes

How should I go about this? Just ask her to hang out and watch Netflix or something and just go for it?

I would help her get her chit together, if you're just gonna use her then you'll make her life worse.

I went full beta yesterday, friends were helping me tlk to this girl in fb n we met yesterday n chilled n smoked bud, didnt go too well for me, i didnt rlly say sht i just enjoyed the high, while the girl i was talking to was right next to me talking about how she likes tongue, alot of tongue, n my friend said "did i really just hear that" n i immediately spam texted him to get me out of kissing her(never had a first kiss,dont know how to kiss, had bad cottonmouth, no way in hell im making out with her yet) so i had to leave the room for a few n tlk to my friends brother bout wht to do, then they went into the kitchen where we were so i went into the living room to pretend to get somethin then i went back in the kitchen n sat town n they were playing this whispering game or somethin, but when they were leaving i got a hug from the girls friend but i didnt get it from the girl i was talking to, at the time i was sitting down and i didnt wanna get up n give her a hug cuz i thought she was going to kiss me as i was giving her a hug so i didnt hug her n i just sat down while my friends were telling me to hug her.. Then they left n my friends were like"why didnt u hug her!!!" N im like i didnt wanna kiss her...so...FA by choice...
